It has been in one accident that damaged the frame, is the sole survivor of a 12 car fire, and most recently it was side swiped, leaving paint damage and a dent on the drivers' side door. There are various issues with the body such as a broken release handle for the hood (need a wrench to grasp and pull), torn upholstery on the driver side visor, missing trunk shelf, broken antenna, etc. It runs great but would benefit from standard maintenance including oil pan gasket, brakes, air filter and 180k mile servicing."

Great find! A chance in a million.

This car has been through a lot and has a lot of 'personality' and could benefit from some TLC from a Honda fan.

However: it runs great!!! Its driven daily and is completely reliable and passes mechanic's inspection as is.

Incredibly inexpensive to operate running up to 30 miles per gallon and very cheap to insure and cheap to maintain

Manual transmission!!! A blast to drive!

I am the original owner. It has had all scheduled services up to 100k miles, and standard oil changes every 3k miles.

The vehicle does have an air-condition installed, but it requires extensive repairs.

Highlights and standouts from the 2015 LA Auto Show

Thu, Nov 19 2015

This year's LA Auto Show has been packed with interesting debuts and fascinating industry trends. The Autoblog team is on the scene to examine all the new metal, and Senior Editor Greg Migliore has some show highlights for us in the video above. In particular, the new Fiat 124 Spider and Honda Civic Coupe stand out as important debuts. The Fiat is based on the excellent Mazda Miata, with a turbocharged 1.4-liter engine and revised styling. The Civic Coupe is a striking redesign of an extremely popular and important model for the company. And the restyled Ford Escape looks more like its bigger brother, the Explorer. There's this an much more in our video above. Watch it and let us know what you think – and look for more LA Auto Show coverage coming soon.

Honda Civic Tourer images arrive early on web

Sun, 03 Mar 2013

Honda provided a teaser sketch of its Civic Tourer concept wagon about a month ago (right), but today, just a couple days before its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show, we've found these official pics of the car in question from WhatCar?
The Civic Tourer concept adds a little length and height to the current Civic hatchback sold in Europe, stretching the shape every which way to make a new wagon model that will compete with cars like the new Volkswagen Golf Variant, which is also making its debut in Geneva this week.
As we mentioned when Honda released the teaser sketch last month, the European Civic is different from the Civic sold here in the US, so the production version of this concept, which should debut in the fall, will never see the inside of a dealership in the States. Do you care, or does the smaller Fit fill that role well enough for Americans?

Honda speeds towards its dreams with new Civic Type R Concept [w/videos]

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

A war is coming. It's been brewing for some time between the top-performing hot hatches, and will be determined by the ultimate bragging rights: the lap record at the Nürburgring for front-drive cars. Renault claimed it and reclaimed it again with successive versions of the Megane RS, then Seat took it by some margin with the new Leon Cupra. But this could take it from both.
It's the new Honda Civic Type R - or at least a conceptual preview of the one to follow. We drove an early prototype of the forthcoming Japanese hot hatch while in town for the Tokyo Motor Show a few months ago, where Honda made no secret of its Eiffel-bound aspirations. Now it has taken a big step closer with the concept you see here.
Previewing the extreme styling that will set the next Type R apart from ordinary Civics (or the European-spec hatchback on which it's based), the concept has a giant rear spoiler, enlarged grilles, hood vents and widened fenders packing both 20-inch alloys and additional air vents.
