Up for auction is a very clean 2010 Honda Civic EX sedan with front end collision damage.

It will need all the front end parts that bolt on and a radiator support welded back in place too. The cooling will all need replaced as well.  The left front frame horn will have to be straightened back out too.

This Civic starts right up and moves around on the lot good but it does have some vibration due to the right side rubber motor mount being damaged. It doesn't appear to have damaged the engine...it just popped out of place during the impact...There is a photo of the mount where we circled it in black.

The car inside is really clean and everything works good too. The tires are almost brand new Goodyears 205-55-16".  The doors all open and close good and the front wheels are right in place as they should be and it steers just fine. The sunroof glass works perfectly as well.

On the drivers side on the very top of the transmission there is a tower type alluminum mount there and it will need welded back in place but it didn't get into the inside of the case...it's only a 3 bolt place that will easily repair by weld and then finish with a rotary wheel to finish it up. This is real common on these Civic's to break there. I tried to take a photo of it but it's real hard to see without removing the battery and plastic parts around it.

The front  windshield glass is not broken.  We priced all the bolt on parts new aftermarket and they were right at  $1,500 and a drivers side air bag was $200.00

This would really make someone a nice family car to have and save thousands over other 2010's that might be for sale. We have it on our sale list for $6,200.  The title is a Arkansas Salvage title and is negotiable in all U.S. 48 states. It is on file with no liens.

Payment:  The winning bidder must place a $500 deposit within 24 hours after the close of auction and the balance is due in 5 business days.  We accept paypal or visa/master over the phone for the deposit and balance by bank-wire or cash in person.

We try and disclose as much as we know about our auctions and there could be something we missed but not intentionally since it is a damaged vehicle.

This car will load easily on a transport truck or trailer if you would need to ship it that way. We will be glad to store it here if you are traveling to pick up the car and there would be no storage charges for the first 30 days.

We reserve to end the auction at anytime as the car is for sale on the lot.

Thanks for bidding and good luck.

Acura replaces chief Accavitti with designer Ikeda

Tue, Jul 28 2015

Acura is shaking up its senior leadership, as Honda ushers the current chief of its luxury division out the door and replaces him with a new one. Exiting stage left is Mike Accavitti, who held the reins at the premium automaker as its senior vice president and general manager of the Acura division. Taking his place will be Jon Ikeda, one of the Japanese automaker's most senior designers. Accavitti (pictured above at left) had been promoted to the job from his previous position as senior vice president of auto operations after Honda separated the Acura brand into its own division. He had previously served as a senior executive at Chrysler, rising up the ranks to run the Dodge brand, and joined Honda in 2011 as its chief marketing officer. At this point it remains unclear why Accavitti is leaving and where he might land, but Honda says he's leaving the company altogether. To replace Accavitti, Honda has named Jon Ikeda (pictured above at right), a veteran designer with the company. A graduate of the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, Ikeda has worked for Honda on both sides of the Pacific since 1989. He previous headed up the design and product planning divisions at Honda's American R&D operations, and was instrumental in creating an independent design office for the Acura brand, separate from Honda's. This isn't the first time we've seen Accavitti replaced in his role as a senior executive by a design veteran. After only four months at CEO of the Dodge brand, he was replaced by Ralph Gilles, who retained his role as senior vice president of design for the entire Chrysler group in parallel. Gilles was ultimately replaced as head of Dodge as well, but was recently promoted to serve as head of design for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. July 27, 2015 – Acura today announced that Jon Ikeda has been promoted to Vice President and General Manager of the Acura Division of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. In this role, Ikeda will oversee all Acura brand activities including sales, marketing and parts and service. Ikeda was formerly Division Director of Auto Design at Honda R&D Americas, Inc. (HRA). He began his career at Honda in Japan in 1989, joining the advanced design studio in Tokyo, where he worked on the award-winning Honda FSX show car. After six years in Japan, he returned to Los Angeles in 1995, to continue his career at Honda R&D in Torrance, California.

Honda's next-gen fuel cell concept will debut in LA, along with more Civic updates

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Honda is bringing a new concept to the this month's Los Angeles Auto Show called the FCEV Concept. "FCEV" stands for something, and no, it's not "funky chicken earns victory" or other such nonsense - it's short for fuel-cell electric vehicle, a market that Honda has played in, most recently, with its hydrogen-powered FCX Clarity.
The FCEV is nothing more than a styling exercise (click above to enlarge the sketch) for an eventual production fuel-cell vehicle set to hit US and Japanese dealers in 2015 (sorry Europe, you're stuck waiting). It's not heading to LA to tell us anything about the wider application of the technology used in the FCX Clarity, so fans of hydrogen power shouldn't get too excited. Still, the news that Honda is still pondering a wider-spread for its fuel-cell technology is quite exciting.
"The Honda FCEV Concept demonstrates the company's vision for the future of personal mobility and our commitment to developing advanced alternative fuel vehicles. As we work toward the introduction of our next-generation fuel-cell vehicle in 2015, our long-term experience with fuel-cell technologies will help us pave a way towards a zero-emissions future," said Mike Accavitti, senior vice president of American Honda.
