2008 Honda Civic EX 4-Door Sedan with Sunroof!

Hi! I'm looking to sell my 2008 Honda Civic EX Sedan vehicle (with sunroof). The Honda Civic is a great car to own since it depreciates much slower than other cars and it can lasts for a long time. I've been driving this car for the last 5 years and it still runs very smooth. I love this car and never had any issues with it but unfortunately, I am moving to New York and cannot afford to bring this car with me. I bought this car new and have the car title so I can easily sell the car over to the buyer! The mechanics of the car is in excellent condition although there are minor scratches in the exterior (very minor!). There has been zero issues with the transmission or the engine and I also have an inspection report on the vehicle from less than a week ago that I am more than happy to share.

I have been taking good care of the car's mechanics so it is in good to very good condition according to Kelley Blue Book. It also has all new tires (replaced all 4 a year ago), and is regularly maintained (oil change, tire alignment, tire rotation, etc..).

Here's more information about my vehicle:
Year: 2008
Model and Make: Honda Civic EX 4D Sedan with Sunroof
Mileage: 56,000 - 56,500
Color: Galaxy Gray
Gas Efficiency: Up to 26 city / 36 highway mpg
Maintenance: Regular oil change, tire rotation and alignment once a year, 1 year old tires (all 4 were replaced), new air filters, new windshield wipers,
Condition: Mechanics are in excellent condition and tires are only a year old. It has very minor rust and scratches.
Additional: The car will come with 3 remote keys, the car title is in my hand, all the backseats can be lowered 180 degrees if you need to fit a huge item in the trunk, and there's a sun roof (perfect for sunny days)

Please contact me if you would like to take a look at the vehicle and are interested in purchasing it. I have the car title and am free during weekdays and weekends to sign over the car title.

I am hoping to sell this car no later than 6/30/2013.

Honda's U.S. Plants Build Ten Million Accords, 20 Million Total Vehicles

Fri, Mar 21 2014

The ten millionth American-built Honda Accord rolled off the assembly line Friday at the Japanese automaker's plant in Marysville, Ohio, according to Autoblog. Honda is celebrating not only the Accord, which is the seventh best selling nameplate of all time, but also an accumulative 20 million Hondas built in the U.S. since the company first started manufacturing at Marysville in November 1982. Honda was the first Japanese automaker to gamble on American manufacturing. Now, 94 percent of all Hondas sold in the U.S are American-built. They are made in facilities in Ohio, Alabama and Indiana. Honda's U.S. plants manufactured 1.3 million vehicles last year - a company record. Honda currently builds the best-selling Civic and Accord, as well as the Crosstour, CR-V, Pilot, Odyssey and Ridgeline in the U.S. Acura, Honda's luxury brand, also builds cars at the American plants, including the ILX, TL, RDX and MDX. 180,000 new vehicles are sitting, derailed by lack of transport trains

Wed, 21 May 2014

If you're planning on buying a new car in the next month or so, you might want to pick from what's on the lot, because there could be a long wait for new vehicles from the factory. Locomotives continue to be in short supply in North America, and that's causing major delays for automakers trying to move assembled cars.
According to The Detroit News, there are about 180,000 new vehicles waiting to be transported by rail in North America at the moment. In a normal year, it would be about 69,000. The complications have been industry-wide. Toyota, General Motors, Honda and Ford all reported experiencing some delays, and Chrysler recently had hundreds of minivans sitting on the Detroit waterfront waiting to be shipped out.
The problem is twofold for automakers. First, the fracking boom in the Bakken oil field in the Plains and Canada is monopolizing many locomotives. Second, the long, harsh winter is still causing major delays in freight train travel. The bad weather forced trains to slow down and carry less weight, which caused a backup of goods to transport. The auto companies resorted to moving some vehicles by truck, which was a less efficient but necessary option.

Toyota raises Japanese base wages for first time since 2008

Fri, 14 Mar 2014

Toyota is on track for record profits, and in return, its Japanese workers are receiving their first increase in base wages since 2008, plus higher pay based on seniority and a larger bonus for 2014. The Japanese automaker predicts the average laborer will net a 2.9 percent income gain.
The average Toyota employee will earn 2,700 yen ($26.28) more each month, a 0.8 percent increase from last year. Workers will also receive about 7,300 yen ($71.09) more monthly based on seniority and promotions. Finally, the company's union pushed through a median bonus of 2.44 million yen ($23,768) for 2014, the highest in 6 years.
The pay boost comes as Toyota forecasts a record 1.9-trillion yen ($18.5 billion) profit for the fiscal year ending on March 31, according to Bloomberg. It has been helped by the Japanese government's efforts to weaken the yen on international markets and expand inflation. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been asking businesses to increase compensation to end years of deflation and offset upcoming higher sales taxes. Honda and Nissan have also raised their wages there in recent months.
