Up for auction is a 2003
Honda Civic that was recently donated to a national charitable foundation and
is being sold with NO RESERVE. The vehicle is equipped
with a 4cyl engine. The odometer shows 156,001 miles. It’s
fairly well equipped with most of the options. The seats are black
and appear to be in decent condition, although a good detail will make a huge
difference. The exterior of the car is black and is showing signs of
wear and is faded. It has a few door dings and scratches. The
tires appear to HAVE ROUGHLY 50% road life left. Please refer to the photos included in this

This vehicle comes with
a clear California Title and its Registration was valid
through 01/15. All taxes, fees,
and penalties due to the DMV, are the responsibility of the buyer. Smog (California Buyers) If you are a California
resident intending on registering this vehicle in the State of California, AND
not a Dealer, then we will provide you with either a “certificate of compliance” or
a “certificate of
non-compliance” along with the sale. This will allow buyers to pay
the registration fees and tax then transfer the car into their name at the DMV
and provides them with 90 days of temporary registration from the time the
certificate of non-compliance was issued for the vehicle, thus allowing the
buyer time to repair the vehicle and bring it into smog conformity. There will be a 50.00 fee added to your total amount.

donated! Therefore we do not have ANY
information regarding the history or condition of the vehicle other than what
we can see. We do not perform any
physical or mechanical inspections on the vehicle. No vehicles are test driven so we cannot
vouch for any drivability nor condition of the motor or transmission unless it
is evident when the vehicle is dropped off.

Vehicles not paid for in full within three (3) days of end of
auction will be subject to a penalty of $50.00 plus $20.00 PER DAY in storage

Vehicles not paid for within one week of end of auction will
result in buyer’s privileges revoked and vehicle to be relisted on ebay.
We accept cash in person, credit card (Visa and MC only) and
PayPal (up to $1,000.00) only. Cashier’s
checks may be used for payment but vehicle will not be released until cashier’s
check clears (up to three business days).
All cars are sold in AS IS and WHERE IS condition with all faults
– known and unknown, described or not described. Should there be ANY mechanical issues
discovered after the purchase of the vehicle there will be no recourse offered
by the Seller. The Buyer will be 100%
responsible for any problems discovered after the vehicle leaves the lot. Seller makes NO warranties as to the

American motorcycle brands most satisfying, Japanese most reliable, says Consumer Reports
Fri, Apr 10 2015Consumer Reports started tracking motorcycle reliability last year through its regular reader survey, just like the magazine's well-known auto guide. For the 2015 edition, CR now has data on over 12,300 bikes, compared to 4,680 in 2014, and the extra info means it can include more brands, like Suzuki, Triumph and Can-Am, to the list. However, the final results remain largely the same. As with last year, Japanese bikes are the best choice for buyers who prioritize reliability. Yamaha comes out on top yet again and is followed by Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda. Victory and Harley-Davidson hold the middle of the list, and the European cycles from Triumph, Ducati and BMW sit at the bottom. The major outlier in this regional distinction is the Can-Am Spyder from Canada's Bombardier Recreational Products that comes in dead last in the dependability survey. Still, even the most dependable model is occasionally going to break, and the average repair bill across all brands is $342, according to CR's readers. Kawasakis are the cheapest to keep on the road at a median of $269 for fixes, versus BMW as the most expensive at $455. Through all of the companies, electrical gremlins are the most common issue, causing 24 percent of problems, but faults with the cooling system, pistons or transmission are the smallest concerns at 4 percent each. While Japanese cycles might be the easiest to keep on the road, they aren't the most beloved by riders. In CR's gauge of satisfaction, the Americans reign supreme. Victory owners love their bikes the most with 80 percent reporting that they would buy another. Harley riders are known for having a close bond to the company's models, and the brand comes in second with 72 percent. Finally, Honda rounds out the top three at 70 percent. China's largest dealer body pushes back against foreign automakers over huge inventories
Mon, Jan 5 2015Do not think for a second that automakers forcing inventory on dealers in order to pad the numbers is a ruse known only in the US. Stories of individual brands have hinted at the trouble Chinese dealerships are having trying to move units as the country's economic growth remains hot but comes off the boil, like the one revealing that 95 percent of Toyota-FAW showrooms are losing money. Yet Toyota isn't the only culprit, and the issue has become so dire that the China Automobile Dealers Association (CADA), the largest dealer body in the country, has written to the government to complain. Chinese car sales are expected to close out the year with an annualized growth of six-percent, down from last year's 14 percent when targets were set, while in the background the pace of overall economic expansion is the slowest its been since the early nineties. Automakers, shipping cars on schedule to make their earlier targets, have blown up inventories such that they are an average of 1.8 times monthly sales, when the preferred multiplier is from 0.9 to 1.2. According to the CADA, the price wars and necessary incentives mean that only 30 percent of dealers are operating in the black. That number is down a whopping forty percent since 2010. In response, Toyota has already said it will not make its 2014 target of 1.1 million cars sold. We're a long way from 2012, when Toyota planned on selling 1.8 million cars in China in 2015, a target that's now as realistic as a manticore. BMW, Honda and Nissan have erased numbers on their spreadsheets, too; BMW growth dropped from 20 percent to 8 percent midyear after it began "reducing wholesale supplies," and Honda has been reworking its plans as sales have decreased each of the past six months. It's a big deal for Chinese dealers to begin protesting publicly, the CADA saying, "In the past, dealers were angry, but dared not speak out. But now, they have to shout because the situation is getting so unbearable." With six-percent growth forecast for next year and dealers unwilling to remain underwater, The Year of the Sheep coming in 2015 could portend meaning beyond the zodiac. Honda gunning for world's longest Rose Parade float
Thu, 26 Dec 2013Honda has participated in the annual Rose Parade for the past 53 years and returns this year as the presenting sponsor for the fourth time running. But it's not satisfied merely putting its name on the event; Honda intends to lead from the front with what promises to be the longest float in the parade's long history.
The float, previewed in the rendering above, will measure 274 feet long, as tall as 30 feet high, as wide as 18 feet and weighing a whopping 50 tons with 8,980 flowers covering its surface. The train will be led by a locomotive designed to mimic the Acura NSX, with Asimo at the wheel. The second car in the train showcases a Honda engine, followed by a robotic arm, and, for the first time in the parade's history, a pair of 30-foot LED monitors displaying images of spectators lining the parade route. A caboose inspired by the Honda Jet will pick up the rear.
Oh, and in case you're wondering just who Honda will be knocking off the record books with its 274-foot train of roses, that would be... also Honda.
