2000 Honda Civic, Ex Coupe 5-speed on 2040-cars
Rapid City, South Dakota, United States
I am selling my stock green Honda Civic EX coupe. This is an excellent commuter car and is very reliable. Everything on this car works except for the indicator light on the cruise control switch. AC works great and heater for the winter. The 1.6L VTEC is also equipped with a block heater that makes this car very easy to start in the winter months...also much better on the engine. All body panels are original and do show some scratches and small door dings but the paint is still glossy as you can see in the pics. The car also has minor hail damage on the hood and roof, rear deck lid is free of dents. This car has never been in an accident with one exception...it was once hit in the rear bumper by a golfer at my local golf course. He paid to have the rear bumper totally replaced and repainted. I have also replaced all the brake rotors, drums, pads and stock CAT Back exhaust. I have also recently replaced all the stock speakers with better ones. The cruise control works very well and is nice to have on those longer commutes. All the windows are tinted. This is an excellent gas saver and I hate to let it go but I need a 4-door. The car is equipped with low profile 17'' wheels but I also have the stock wheels with a new set of winter treads that will be included with the sale.

Honda overhauls North American operations with eye towards more autonomy
Mon, 25 Feb 2013The increasing sales success of Honda North America (HNA) has led to Honda brass in Japan reorganizing regional operations here. The management shuffling here and in Japan is intended to both streamline and confer more responsibility on HNA "as the region assumes a larger role in shaping Honda's global business," and as Honda builds more facilities that serve several roles in the product development pipeline.
Honda's executive vice president and president of HNA Tetsuo Iwamura was named COO of automotive operations, taking over a position that had been handled by company president Takanobu Ito. Iwamura's new role puts him in charge of anything Honda makes that has four wheels, which Automotive News says equates to 78 percent of the company's global revenue.
The current company CFO, Fumihiko Ike, will fill the now-vacant role of company chairman and Kohei Takeuchi will take his place. Takeuchi is presently the operating officer, general manager of the accounting division. The executive swaps take effect April 1, 2013.

GoPro learned to hoop from Meadowlark Lemon
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Wait, wait, wait. We promise that there's something to do with cars in this story. Really, there is. It also, though, features some basketball antics. And the entire thing is possible thanks to the magic that is the GoPro.
Strategically situated, the little cameras capture David Kalb, a master when it comes to making trick basketball shots. This time, he's showing just what he can do when launching balls through the sunroof of a Honda Civic. That includes dribbling and sinking a layup (although we think he may have traveled when driving to the net).
Take a look below for the video, and let us know what you think of Kalb's tricks down in Comments.
