Premium Sound professionally installed about 4 years ago
Pioneer CD player head unit with USB input for I-pod
2 Pioneer 6 X 9 in the back
2 Six inch in the front
Car has been driven almost every day since I got it about 4 years ago.
Pretty sure I'm the 2nd owner. Bought it from a family in New Haven, CT about 4 years ago
Oil changes every 4,500 miles.
Head gasket and timing belt were both done in September 2011, about 25,000 miles on them (cross-country road trip)
Speed sensor replaced December 2011
1 of the oxygen sensor's was replaced in 2010
New radiator and hoses done in 2010
Tires probably have 15-25,000 miles left; 80,000 mile tires with some uneven wear due to not rotating them consistently
Spark plugs and spark plug wires just replaced
K&N air filter (probably about due for a cleaning)
Front brakes done March 2012
Previous owner told me they had just recently replaced the clutch; they must have cause I've had no issues yet.
Don't think it's ever been in an accident. I haven't had any, but not positive about previous owner.
Minor annoyances: It's an old car. Most old cars have problems like this. I just happen to be telling you about them.
Exterior is a little rough; car has spent most of it's life in the northeast
Very slight oil loss, 1.5 to 2 quarts every 5,000 miles.
The temperature adjustment slider for heat and A/C is a little "sticky"; it works, but I only move it once a season because I'm nervous it might detach like it was when I bought it. Apparently, some little plastic thingy is worn out and can become detached.
Driver side power window motor works very slowly in the bitter cold. It works, but I assist it by pulling up on it in the bitter cold.
Previous owner put purple tint on the windows (not the front or back windshields), but tried to take it off the rear passenger window and left sticky residue on that window.
Rear driver-side floorboard has a rust-colored stain in the floorboard; it was like this when I got it; I have no idea what it is; the rest of the interior is in pretty good shape.
Cruise control has never worked since I've had it.
One of the rear door locks is a little sticky when you use the power lock button to open it only. It locks fine.
Missing a hub cap.
Splash guard got ripped off. This is the plastic thing that sits under the very front part of the car.
Passenger side window squirter is kinda weak.
Why am I telling you all this? Because I'm an honest, nice person who's not trying to get over on anyone, and I would appreciate the same when looking for a used car. I've been slogging through horribly inadequate ads for months looking for a newer civic.

Ward's reveals annual 10 Best Engines list for 2013
Thu, 13 Dec 2012Ward's Auto has released its annual 10 Best Engines award winners. The 2013 list covers the full width and breadth of the internal combustion spectrum, from a spate of efficient four-cylinders to the most powerful production V8 on the planet. As always, the entries must be available in a production vehicle in the first quarter of 2013 with an MSRP of less than $55,000. The supercharged 3.0-liter V6 from the Audi S5 held on for the fourth consecutive year, and BMW earned two spots on the list with its turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder and turbo 3.0-liter inline-six.
Ford pulled in two awards for its 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder and and the supercharged 5.8-liter V8 from the Shelby GT500. Honda matched BMW and Ford with two wins of its own. Wards awarded the 2.4-liter four-cylinder from the Honda Accord Sport as well as the 3.5-liter V6 from the Honda Accord. Chrysler, General Motors and Subaru each garnered a spot on the list as well for the 3.6-liter V6 in the Ram 1500, the turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder in the Cadillac ATS and the 2.0-liter four-cylinder the Subaru BRZ, respectively. You can read the full press release below for more information.
Honda NM4 concept motorcycles channel Akira
Fri, 21 Mar 2014Honda has rolled out a pair of new motorcycle concepts at the Osaka Motorcycle Show in its home market of Japan, and they're our first glimpse at the company's "neo-futuristic" NM4. Shown in both stealthy black and an eye-catching white, the NM4s are sharp creations that feature interesting riding positions.
Honda calls the concepts' seating "the cockpit position," claiming that it unifies bike with rider. We don't know about that, but we will admit that compared to most sportbike seats - which are more or less just bits of padding to squeeze between your legs - these bikes' saddles look more or less like conventional seats. Honda says that their backrests are adjustable, which should provide a comfortable riding experience. Still, with these bikes' sporting looks, we can't imagine their low seats are going to be great for dipping knees through the bends (although the should lower the center of gravity, so perhaps it's a wash).
Both show bikes, NM4-01 and NM4-02, are powered by 745-cc, two-cylinder engines, while dual-clutch transmissions are employed to dispatch unspecified amounts of power to their wide rear tires. The bikes are nearly identical save for different colors, but the NM4-02 features an integral set of hard panniers for increased utility. We've got a gallery of both, so hop up above and take a look. Honda reveals new Civic hatch for WTCC
Tue, 03 Dec 2013If you thought the Honda Civic Type R prototype we drove in Japan looked cool, and that the Civic Tourer that Honda will race in the British Touring Car Championship next year looks even cooler, just take a look at this.
Possibly the ultimate race-spec Civic, this is the car Honda will field next year in the World Touring Car Championship. Like the Type R prototype (but unlike the BTCC-spec wagon) the WTCC challenger takes the form of Honda's latest Euro-spec Civic five-door hatchback.
It's the car with which Honda intends to defend its title and capture the driver's title in next year's championship. It'll face a tough challenge from the new Citroën team headlined by Sebastien Loeb in the new C-Elysee, not to mention the rest of the grid. Fortunately, Honda is entering a whole mess of these Civics in the series, with former champion Gabriele Tarquini and former F1 driver Tiago Monteiro driving the works entries (hence the mixed "Gabriago" tag on the window) and another pair to be entered by privateer teams.
