this was my daily driver.... 97 honda civic hatch with a 99 front end conversion with carbon fiber hood, type- r lip and jdm style fog lights... also has carbon fiber spoon style mirrors and carbon duck bill spoiler, the majority of the body work from rust and stupid door dings is done i had the drivers rear qrtr to finish.. and the car comes with a gollan of white paint!!!
suspension is skunk2 shocks with sport lowering springs.. nothing fancy
the engine well it was originally for my 99 ek in the garage before i decided to go k20... so its everything name brand and done right.... started with a 67000mile b18 block had it check and honed... went with oem type r pistons (all motor plan) acl race bearings, eagle blockgaurd, a cometic head gasket, and arp head studs, with a type-r b16 head, spoon cam gears, some name brand seal... has a venom sheet metal intake with a 70mm throttle body beeen prof tapped to run the iac with a custom aluminum iac plate, 3/4 bore fuel rail and all custom braided fuel lines, ngk plug wires, water pump and timing belt all replace when built, has a moroso oil pan and has a b16 tranny with absolutely no grinds an exedy ultralight flywheel and a act stage 3 clutch (yes i know but at this point i was already buildin the k20) motor is fully wire tucked, aluminum radiator, some name brand header, energy suspension engine and shifter bushings..... car is obd2 with type-r ecu.... prolly a ton im forgetting....
like i said i was building to keep but couldnt pass on my k20z1 deal
now for the bad... with intake mani it still wanted to idle down sometimes well one night it did but when it did the cluster hopped like my dizzy was goin bad... it started up i made it another block then idled down again...i went down a day later with a different dizzy... nothing and since i had no help i dont even kno if it was sparkin....was rollin over fine just not starting.. could be as simple as a ground!!! got it home a week later... finally got a day off like a month later buddies all said swap the ecu i may have fried it... so i got a jumper harness and went to try and the battery was dead!! i gave up bought truck.... check my other listing haha no luck there either.... im tired of wrkn on em and i recently bought a mercedes so bye bye broken shit!! i know what i have in this and i know what i could get partn it out...... id prefer not to but i cant completly loss my ass since i am on the truck and im planning on using this money to finish my k swap (shifter box, suspension, n a couple little randoms) ill love to show it off during pickup haha

Honda wins Commercial of the Decade, but not for the ad you think [w/VIDEO]
Fri, 18 Dec 2009Honda's Commercial of the Decade: "Grrr" - Click above to watch video
The mad men at Adweek recently voted for the Commercial of the Decade (Super Bowl commercials not included) and Honda took top honors over memorable ads from the last ten years by companies like Nike, Budweiser and Sony. That's not a big surprise considering Honda often puts a huge amount of effort into its on-air spots. However, the Japanese automaker didn't win for the commercial you might have expected: "Cog." Though Honda's famous commercial that breaks down a European Accord Tourer into a Rube Goldberg-esque machine was also a finalist, it was beaten by another Honda commercial called "Grrr" that's narrated by Garrison Keillor of all people. You've probably never seen it, but you can after the jump.
Volkswagen also made the list of finalists, but the particular ad chosen out of all the comical VW ads we've seen was unexpected as well. Most surprising carmaker with a commercial in the finals: Saturn. Who knew...

Honda Gear concept explored at Montreal Auto Show
Fri, 18 Jan 2013Our friends at Autoblog Canada have just come away with a closer look at Honda's surprise Gear Concept at the Montreal Auto Show. The little three-door hatchback is arguably the automaker's first real shot at the North American city car market (the Gear is much smaller than the Fit) and may be an indication that Honda is getting serious about going after Scion on this side of the world after the CR-Z hybrid failed to deliver. Honda says the Gear Concept takes its inspiration from the fixed-gear bicycle scene, and should allow buyers an unprecedented level of customization. Designers also wanted to show that a car can be both fun and practical.
We're all for a compact stylish three door with functional room inside, but given Honda's propensity for draining the personality from its concepts on the way to production (at least the ones that don't look showroom ready), we don't hold much hope for the Gear. You can check out the full press release below for more information.
