1996 Honda Civic Lx Sedan 4 Door! Low Mileage Under 100k on 2040-cars
Colonia, New Jersey, United States
USA in state preferred Serious Buyers only PLEASE READ CAREFULLY!!!!!!...... THIS VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS, AS SHOWN. ALL SALES ARE FINAL...PAYMENT NEED TO BE PAID via PAYPAL IMMEDIATELY TO KEEP THE VEHICLE FOR PICKUP. You must be a PAYPAL verified and confirmed. Up for auction is a 1996 Honda Civic 4 door sedan 4 cylinder automatic under 100K miles (I believe it is 97000 + or -). I am selling this car on behalf of someone who has provided me the best information possible about the vehicle as I describe below. Please note I am not a mechanic or pretend to be one..I will give you my honest description and after I test drove the car the other day, I feel it is a reliable vehicle in fair to good condition vehicle which the car needs repairs and would be best suited for an individual who can repair the car to save money. I truthfully did not feel any tranny problems or engine just a loud muffler sound. On the engine pictured below you will see on the silver honda cover with the wires which has black dirt. I took a paper towel in a small are to see if it comes off as you can tell it does. The engine is dirty for an 18 year old car, needs an engine cleaning if it bothers you but has no impact to the engine...runs good. I personally wanted to give it the worst value possible because I do not want any problems with anyone. I am using the Blue Kelly Book Fair value and the definition by fair condition is that this is an
"as is" value that does not include any warranties. Has cosmetic
defects that require repairing and/or replacing. Requires some mechanical
repairs. The paint and bodywork may require refinishing and body repair. The
body has dents, chips, and/or scratches. The interior has substantial wear, and
may have small tears. Needs servicing, but is still in reasonable running
condition with a clean title history I will be honest in providing to the best of my knowledge and ability the car information to make your decision and I feel the car is worth more than the 2K. The car in January14 passed NJ rigorous inspection and there should be no problems with emission. The distributor was recently replaced which I will provide as proof and It cost $484.00. The tires are relatively new. I really like to see the car go to someone who need a vehicle at a great price. The person was told that the muffler needs to be replaced, the front CV boots or joint eventually have to be replaced., It sounds like a new starter will be needed eventually, the power windows and locks do not function at this time ( can be a fuse??? not sure)), AC does not work but the heat does ( AC might need feon????), they stated there is water leak and is not sure from where, the paint on top and trunck of the vehicle is discolored alond with some other areas, I guess because the car was not garage keep, the are Chips Dings SCRATCHES, I am sure there some other stuff that I did not describe but I did not do it intentionally. Please contact with any questions. The car is not a show car but will get you to point A to point B. Very good vehicle for gas mileage and if repairs are made and maintained this will still go and you will get your money back due to the low mileage. There have been cars with 200-300K mileage selling at a relatively high price. I feel you will not be disappointed in the vehicle. The car has not had major repairs and the Honda name alone is reliable vehicles. I reserve the right to refund your money in full if the car has already be sold, traded in or any unforeseen problems that s not under my control. If you are the winning bidder, you must contact and pay immediately at auction end . Again, In the event that the vehicle is sold prior or anything else to auction end, and we fail to cancel the auction before auction end, the winning bidder agrees to not leave negative feedback or pursue any legal actions towards us as the seller. The buyer will be responsible to pay the sellers legal fees or any other expenses required for this auction or if any action is required or taken. I will make every attempt to end this auction if it is no longer available for sale before the auction ends. Deposits are non refundable if you back out of the deal. PLEASE NOTE : If you do not intend to follow through with purchasing this vehicle at auction end, PLEASE DO NOT BID! Please be a respectful eBayer and allow another person that is interested in the vehicle to buy it. Thank you |

Design Handbook explains the difference between design and styling
Fri, 11 Oct 2013It's easy to confuse the terms 'design' and 'style,' but Jim Hall attempts to explain the difference between the two in his latest Design Handbook video column for Autoline. Before relating the terms to cars, Hall first uses other, non-automotive-related examples to prove his point, such as a well-designed glass versus a well-styled glass. Both do their job well as a result of good designs, he claims, but one stands out more because it also was styled.
When he relates his lesson to cars, he uses the 2013 Honda Accord and the new Chevrolet Impala as examples, but you'll have to watch the video below to find out which car he thinks is merely designed and which one has been styled.
We've also included a gallery of the Honda and a gallery of the Chevrolet so you can decide for yourself which one of these vehicles has been designed, and which one has been styled.
Honda Fit EV lease drops to $199 a month, but there's a catch
Mon, Mar 23 2015The Honda Fit EV just became a much better deal. When it first launched, Honda offered the car (in California and Oregon only) in 2012, the monthly price was $399. In 2013, the official lease price dropped to $259. Today, Honda announced that the fun little runabout will cost you just $199. The catch? For new customers, this price is only good on used Fit EVs. You can also take advantage of this deal If you're a current Fit EV lessee by extending your time with your car by two years for the new, lower $199-a-month price. The other limitations of the Fit EV lease – the fact that there's no purchase option at the end of the lease and that the car itself is still only available in "designated market regions" – remain, which means that getting this particular electric car is a better deal than it used to be, but it's still not a good Fit for everyone. Two-year Fit EV lease extension offered to existing lessees New, two-year used Fit EV lease offered to prospective customers Price reduced to $199 a month; no down payment and unlimited mileage, routine maintenance and collision coverage included Honda is extending the reach of its efficient and fun-to-drive all-electric Fit EV (http://automobiles.honda.com/fit-ev/) through new lease programs for both existing and prospective Fit EV customers. For current, eligible Fit EV customers, Honda is offering a two-year lease extension that includes a lower $199 monthly payment1 (previously $259) and extends the unlimited mileage, routine maintenance and collision coverage1 that were included in the original lease. The reduced lease price and matching two-year terms1 will also be available to new customers interested in driving a used Honda Fit EV. Honda shared the news to a group of Fit EV drivers at an event hosted at the Honda Smart Home US (http://www.hondasmarthome.com/) in Davis, CA on Saturday, March 21. "Most Fit EV drivers tell us they love their vehicles, and many have requested lease extensions and this extended lease program is intended to meet their needs," said Steve Center, vice president of the Environmental Business Development Office, American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
Honda previews S660 roadster ahead of Tokyo debut
Wed, 23 Oct 2013Honda isn't known for making convertibles. In fact, legend has it that old man Soichiro banned them from his lineup - but then he also didn't approve of six-cylinder engines, either. There have been exceptions, like the Civic del Sol and S2000, and today Honda has revealed another.
Set to debut at the forthcoming Tokyo Motor Show in late November is the Honda S660 concept, a compact little roadster about which Honda is saying even less. It looks about the size of a Kei car, with a nameplate that suggests a 660cc engine, making it more of a revival for the 1990's Beat than the high-end S2000. And while there are some clear similarities with the EV-STER concept that debuted two years ago in Tokyo, the S660 looks closer to production-ready, with key features like an actual steering wheel.
Of course, whether the S660 makes production, and beyond that makes it off of the Japanese islands and across the Pacific to US showrooms, is another matter, but we could see something like this taking the fight to the Mazda MX-5 and even the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ if it did.
