There is a NO RESERVE for this vehicle.

THIS CAR WILL GO WITH THE HIGHEST BIDDER.
ALL IT TAKES IS ONE PERSON, ONE BID!
GOOD LUCK!

Please read all the information before you place your bid.

I bought this car 3 weeks ago as a surprise for my daughter graduating high school. To make a long story short, she does not care to learn or wants to drive a 5 speed manual transmition vehicle. I'm selling this car and buying one with an automatic transmition instead, I already have a car waiting for me. That is the main reason I did not put a reserve price on this car. I need the cash ASAP. Check my 100% feedback and you can see I'm not a car dealer or sales person trying to make a profit with this car. That is the reason why I'm using Ebay, I just want to recover my investment or at least most of it. I paid over $3K cash.

I will try to give as much detail as possible describing the car inside and out, so you can have a good idea. I will leave my cell phone number at the bottom in case you have questions or concerns. If you have been looking for a good opportunity, this is it! You can own this nice car if you win this bid. Good luck!

This is a very nice 1996 Honda Civic EX 2 door, very sporty and compact. Silver color with paint in very good condition, I believe the previous owner had it repainted. It has a small dent on the passenger side door right underneath the mirror (see pictures) other than that, it looks really good. the body of the car has 200K+ miles but it has a newer engine from a 1998 Civic with around 86K miles (engine VIN 1HGEJ7129WL034345 different than the car being sold VIN 1HGEJ8143TL073547, see pictures). The car has an aftermarket installed alarm system also a nice Pioneer radio and CD player with Iphone/Ipod charger in it. The headlights have the good, bright lights that works really great at night. The car has also 17 inch Toro Rims (worth about $500) and low profile tires, the car has not been lowered. The seats are in good condition except for 2 little holes (see pictures)

The car has good breaks, the red disks in the back are new. They are the high performance kind. Also there is a little air intake kit to allow the engine to cool faster and I guess gives the engine a few more horse power, everything else is pretty much stock and original. The car rides good and has no check engine light or overheating problems. Car starts every time (watch the short videos of the car in action). Click the YouTube links.

I took the car to my mechanic and he saw a little oil around the engine from an old robber seal which can be easily repair, but because I'm selling the car I don't want to invest any money in it. The interior is gray and in good condition as well. There is one sun visor missing on the driver side, the odometer is not working, there is not interior sliding door for the sunroof and the headliner is gone. I was going to replace everything myself, of course you don't have to, but if you want to do it, all of the items can be bought used.

There were 3 owners before the car was registered under my name 3 weeks ago. The car has a clean title, no accidents (check the vehicle report history) I have the registration and just got the pink slip in the mail recently, also smog check was done already by the person I bought the car from (see pictures). The car is ready to transfer to the new owner.

The winner of this auction is responsible for picking up the vehicle. I will not ship.

I will take cash payment in person.

The car is being sold AS IS. There is no warranty.

If you have any questions reach me at 626-617-3752 TEXT ONLY please, due to work or email me and I will respond ASAP.

Thank you and good luck!

MotorWeek checks out two sides of the '90s Japanese car scene

Sat, Feb 6 2016

MotorWeek's Retro Reviews let you feel nostalgic about a huge range of classic cars, and the latest two releases offer a look at two very different sides of the Japanese car market in the 1990s. The video above shows off tuned examples of the Mazda RX-7 and Nissan 300ZX. Check out the clip below to remember the 1997 Honda CR-V, if you want to reminisce about something a little more utilitarian. The RX-7 and 300ZX were among the era's best Japanese sports cars, and these examples' suspension and engine overhauls gave them an extra boost. Peter Farrel Supercars tunes the Mazda, and the vibrant yellow paint and body kit make it look ready for an episode of Initial D. The updated powertrain stands up to the mean styling and gets the RX-7 to 60 miles per hour in 4.5 seconds. The Stillen 300ZX GTZ sports a giant wing, and new turbos take the output to 465 hp. It sprints to 60 in 4.9 seconds. The CR-V sits on the opposite end of the automotive spectrum as the tuned RX-7 and 300ZX, but it's even more important in a historical sense. The Honda (along with the Toyota RAV4 and others) was among the progenitors of today's mega-popular compact crossovers. These early examples set the foundation for offering buyers a utilitarian vehicle in a comfortable package with good fuel economy at an affordable price. The CR-V had some quirky charm, too, like the removable picnic table hidden in the cargo floor. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. HyFive hydrogen infrastructure gets $51M boost across Europe

Fri, Apr 4 2014

"High five!" was one of the catch-phrases of Sacha Baron Cohen's Kazakh comedic alter ego Borat. A real-world HyFive is being announced by a power broker named Boris. And this is serious business. London Mayor Boris Johnson has announced a program called HyFive, which will see automakers and other entities invest 31 million British pounds ($51 million US) in a demonstration project for hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles. By next year, London will have three hydrogen refueling stations, while there will be one each in the Danish cities of Aarhus and Odense and one in Innsbruck, Austria. Leaders of the program are planning for other stations in Sweden, Germany and Italy. The five participating automakers are BMW, Mercedes-Benz parent Daimler, Honda, Hyundai and Toyota, while other companies involved include Copenhagen Hydrogen Network, ITM Power and Linde. Those OEMs will make 110 fuel-cell vehicles available for deployment in Bolzano, Copenhagen, Innsbruck, London, Munich and Stuttgart. The program represents an effort to address the "chicken or egg?" challenge inherent to establishing a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle market. While the powertrain technology provides benefits by combining fossil-fuel-like refueling times with long driving ranges and zero emissions, establishing a refueling network and building fuel-cell vehicles is prohibitively expensive, especially in low volumes. The London mayor is no stranger to green transportation technology. Late last year, Johnson made himself available for a photo opportunity with Ecotive and Frazer-Nash, which had developed a six-passenger extended-range plug-in taxicab. The mayor got a test drive in the cabs this week. You can check out the HyFive press release below. Global leaders sign up to GBP31m plan to demonstrate viability of hydrogen vehicles International project HyFive pioneers hydrogen fuel cell technology A pioneering GBP31 million deal will be struck today (3 April) to make hydrogen vehicles a viable and environmentally friendly choice for motorists across Europe. Leading motor manufacturers, hydrogen fuel suppliers, the Mayor of London's Office and energy consultancies from around the globe are signing up to the HyFive project, the largest of its kind in Europe, at City Hall in London today.
