purchased a week ago not really knowing anything about turbo vehicles. what i do know about it is that its sweet and fast. reason for selling is that my septic got messed up and owe 7k in repairs poop happens right.

B16A ,weisco pistons and the head has a port and new ferra valves ARP studs on mild tune with ectune @15lbs. manual boost controller under hood previous owner said turbo was a 62 trim whatever that means. I really could care less as long as it was professionally tuned. Has LSD GSR hydro transmission, clutch is ACT Unsprung feels nice and never grinds your either in or out. No grinds in any gear or pop outs. Oil catch can. Coilovers, interior is pretty nice. No radio,or A/C or power steering. New lower ball joints laying in front seat, if i get around to it ill throw those in. Leaking cam seal, which should be fixed by end of auction. 3in exhaust to about mid vehicle. i think im missing some things so either email or just shoot me a text 812-585-0725.

On Apr-15-13 at 18:14:47 PDT, seller added the following information:

**Forgot to add that there are a lot of safety features to protect motor, wont let you get into boost before engine is properly warmed up, wont over boost. Also shift light comes on (engine light will flash when to shift)

No engine codes, or lights on. Only the SRS light which is the airbag (due to aftermarket steering wheel)

Nice feature of launch control, depress clutch and gas in first and perfect launch each time (after tires are warm otherwise you will just spin)

Push button start

carbon fiber hood. Tires have 75% thread

2014 Honda Accord V6 Touring

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

America's midsize sedan segment is one of the most crowded and fiercely competitive in the business. The Toyota Camry has long been our nation's best seller, while the Honda Accord has dutifully come in second place, like some sort of codependent Cal Naughton Jr. riding Ricky Bobby's back bumper.
There was that one year, 2001, when the Accord briefly broke the Camry's streak, marring what would today have been a 17-year-long run of best-selling car titles. The Accord pulled the opposite move in 2011, letting sales slip far enough to let not only the Toyota by, but the Nissan Altima and Ford Fusion, as well. Aside from those anomalies, the Camry and Accord have been first and second in this segment since before many of you readers could even drive.
It's 2014, and these frenemies have never before faced a threat to their world order as strong as today's class of family sedans. The aforementioned Altima and Fusion are perhaps the most capable challengers, but the Chevrolet Malibu, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Optima, Volkswagen Passat and Mazda6 are all capable of convincing new buyers to walk their way.

Consumer Reports explains its disdain for infotainment

Thu, 20 Mar 2014

One of the perks of reviewing all manner of cars and trucks is that we're exposed to all the different infotainment systems. Whether Cadillac's CUE, Chrysler's UConnect, BMW's iDrive or MyFord Touch, we sample each and every infotainment system on the market.
Not surprisingly, some are better than others. It seems consumers have come to a similar consensus, with Consumer Reports claiming that Ford and Lincoln, Cadillac and Honda offer the worst user infotainment experiences. Not surprisingly, you won't find much argument among the Autoblog staff.
Take a look below to see just what it is about the latest batch of infotainment systems that grinds CR's gears. After that, scroll down into Comments and let us know if you agree with the mag's views.

Petrolicious profiles an 'original fanboy' and his 1987 Honda CRX Si

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

Christopher Hoffman is a guy I'd like to meet. He's profiled in the latest installment of Petrolicious, titled Original Fanboy, because of his love and dedication to his 1987 Honda CRX Si. And that's something I can relate to.
My personal car is a black 1988 Honda CRX Si. Road & Track executive editor Sam Smith sold it to me in December 2010 with some 93,000 miles on the odometer (and one bum tire!), and though I don't drive it nearly as much as I should, I'm madly in love with my little Honda. I take immense pride in owning this car, despite my recent neglect. As soon as we're done with this Polar Vortex crap here in the midwestern United States, I'm going to pull the CRX out of its wintertime storage and show it the love it deserves.
Like me, Hoffman fully understands the beauty of the CRX. It's not super powerful, or even quick (when it was new, its 0-60 time was just over 9 seconds), but it's extremely light, and comes from an era when Honda was churning out brilliantly simple cars. The steering is incredibly precise, the transmission perfect, and the chassis superb. Nearly 26 years after its birth, I adore every moment behind the wheel of my CRX. And thanks to this Petrolicious special, I know I'm not alone. Scroll down to watch the full episode.
