No desire to sell, but family comes first... Please read all this, I know it's long, but a lot has been done.. if you ask me a question and the answer is listed in the post, i will not reply to you whatsoever. Don't waste my time and I won't waste yours. please understand the roll cage alone cost about $4000. It is built to spec and is ok for NHRA and SCCA racing. If i could get my money back just for the cage i'd be stoked. Car is great, but and i destroy the track, but it's a financially tough time.
I also know the car is qualified for the Skunk2 street team, and a few members have told me to apply because they need members in this area, so if you're into that, you can be "sponsored / certified" by skunk2.
the car is not only a blast to drive, but is daily driver friendly.
Lots of work done in the past few months, documentation and receipts for it all.
1993 Honda civic hatchback 5 speed CLEAN CALIFORNIA TITLE, no back fees, registration is up soon, aug 2013, but i will get it reregistered once sold.
Car weighs approximately 1800 pounds now, so it's extremely light and with the power it has it is super fast. Built for road race / auto-x, but can still tear it up in the 1/4 mile.
**********Engine*********
Average 25 mpg, but if you drive "eco-friendly" you can squeeze out upwards of 35mpg, and if you get vtec controller to disable it or change when it engages, im sure it'll get close to 40. It's crazy how good it does...

There has been a lot of time, and im sure im forgetting to name parts and some maintenance. Brakes flushed 7/13 and oil change 7/13. Brake pads have plenty of life, the car is not only a blast to drive, but is daily driver friendly.
It is a total head turner, and when you're at a red light and the new mustang or corvette pulls up and laughs, you can spank him up and down the street. I have beat new 5.0's, new vettes, and even beat a nissan GT-R (until i got into top of my 4th gear he pulled away, so much more top end for them). This car is a high revving motor, and isn't some typical kids honda from santa maria.
Have some videos if you'd like to see
No problems with car except for check engine light, code 7, TPS. Needs to be adjusted. Once we put the 68mm tbody the tps was never adjusted, i said forget it and drove it how it is. Drives 100% fine except sometimes the throttle can be a little sticky and stays open, just gotta snap gas pedal and it fixes itself. It's a racecar, so it's gonna always be a work in progress. I've done 95% of the work, time for someone else to tear it up. Car has a laguna seca history, and it's a car you can turn into a trailer queen, or you can drive 5 hours, get on the track, tear it up, and then drive home!

Honda Civic Tourer caught testing ahead of 2014 launch
Mon, 08 Apr 2013Honda showed off its Civic Tourer concept at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and at that time, we were told that a production version would be coming to market in the very near future. Obviously, the sleek lines of the concept car will be dumbed down slightly for consumers, but that doesn't mean the Civic wagon will be a bland machine. The Euro-spec Civic's angular front end looks like it will blend nicely with the rakish rump that we saw on the concept.
Our sources suggest that not only will the Civic Tourer be a class-leader in terms of cargo capacity, but it will likely be a pretty engaging car from behind the wheel, as well. Honda is hoping that the Tourer will account for roughly 20 percent of all European Civic sales after it goes on sale.
Expect to see the production car debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September, with the first customers taking delivery in early 2014. In the meantime, have a look at the camouflaged swoopy wagon from all angles in our gallery above.
Honda motorcycles most stolen, just like Honda autos
Tue, 26 Nov 2013It comes as no surprise that Honda's Civic and Accord are the most stolen cars in America, but as it turns out, thieves like the company's motorcycles the most too, according to a study by the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). Out of the 46,061 two-wheelers stolen in 2012, 9,082 of them were Hondas. While that's bad news for Honda motorcycle owners, at least motorcycle theft went down slightly from 2011, which had 46,667 reported thefts. Motorcycle theft recoveries, on the other hand, were just 39 percent.
Yamaha is up next in the theft rankings (7,517), then Suzuki (7,017). The numbers drop a bit for fourth and fifth place, Kawasaki (4,839) and Harley-Davidson (3,755). These five brands are far and away the most stolen motorcycles: sixth place, apparently held by scooter, dirtbike and ATV maker Taotao, dropped to 914 theft reports.
California had the most reported thefts (6,082), followed by Florida (4,110), Texas (3,400), North Carolina (2,574) and Indiana (2,334). By city, New York City had the most reported thefts (903), followed by Las Vegas (757), San Diego (633), Indianapolis (584) and Miami (535.
Sunday Drive: An automotive flavor for every taste
Sun, Feb 25 2018Last week was flush with interesting new vehicle debuts, led by the new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. This crossover is entering straight into the heart of one of the world's most competitive automotive segments, and it's doing so with a fresh sense of style and a brace of new technologies. Our readers are clearly intrigued – the Santa Fe was the biggest news story of the last week on these online pages. It's fitting that a crossover generated a lot more interest than a traditional wagon, though we don't really have to be happy about it. Still, the completely new, fully redesigned Volvo V60 is worth taking another look at. First of all, it's pretty, in a traditionally Scandinavian way. Second, it's quick, with a 0-60 time of as little as 4.8 seconds. And finally, it's practical, with all kinds of room for cargo without the dynamic penalties of an unnecessary lift kit. Moving on from new vehicle debuts, we took another long look at the Honda Ridgeline. It's definitely a non-conformist pickup truck, based not on a body-on-frame platform but on a more carlike unibody design. That means it can't tow as much as some other trucks, but it also means the Ridgeline drives better than any of its more truckish competitors. It's the Swiss army knife of pickup trucks. Rounding out our coverage from last week are three sets of spy photos, each showing the interior of a hotly anticipated new model. One is a truck, one is a crossover, and the last is a sportscar. All of them are worth another look. As always, stay tuned to Autoblog this week for all the most important news in the automotive world. 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe unveiled 2019 Volvo V60 | Sleek, swift new twist on the Swedish wagon 2018 Honda Ridgeline | Pocketknife pickup is up for anything 2019 GMC Sierra interior looks just like the Silverado's 2019 Cadillac XT4 interior has actual buttons, no more touch-sensitive panel 2020 Porsche 911 992 spy shots show interior and manual transmission Cadillac GMC Honda Hyundai Porsche Volvo Truck Crossover Wagon Luxury Performance Sedan hyundai santa fe
