This is not a modified RHD car it is originally RHD. The car has a little over 99,000 Kilometers on it. All windows are Bronze color the way they are in Japan. Also has new master cylinder. AC lines were removed and ac compressor was removed during the engine upgrade. I have a clear Tennessee title for it. The car has been sitting in a storage for the last 4 years. The glass roof came from Japan cracked unfortunately, and I have been informed by a glass company that they can easily be made. Everything works on the car except the AC and power steering. The power steering pump is frozen. All of the mods were done before I bought the car. The body has absolutely zero rust. There are dents on the body, fenders and the quarter panels, and hatch. The front bumper the previous owner cracked on the lower facia area, but can be repaired. Car has power folding mirrors installed, fog lights and factory power windows and locks. Also has a back seat. Interior is super clean with a Dual Din CD player and clean seats not a single tear, suede top part of dash and door panels. Carbon fiber hood from VIS. 2015 Acura NSX burns to the ground at the 'Ring [w/video]
Thu, Jul 24 2014Assuming all goes to plan, automakers test their vehicles to the breaking point in the months and years leading up to that vehicle's actual release into the public. Which is good, because it's much better for a car to break in glorious fashion in the hands of the company that produces it than in the driveway of an owner who just spent their hard-earned cash to get it. Such was the case with this production-guise Acura NSX prototype that we saw running around the Nurburgring just the other day. We can't be 100-percent certain, but the burned-out carcass is wearing the same number plate as the car that was spotted earlier, so it's likely the very same NSX. We have no idea what was the cause of the blaze that turned this Acura into the car-b-q you see pictured above, but our spy shooters on the ground in Germany say it was not involved in any collision, having caught on fire all on its own with engineers behind the wheel. The good news is that nobody was hurt, though the car is quite clearly a complete loss. We're sure there's another ready to to test in the burned car's place... just as soon as the engineers at Honda figure out exactly what went wrong. Have a look at the smoldering aftermath up above, and feel free to scroll down below to see a video of the car in much better circumstances.
Watch this to get excited about seeing Honda back in F1
Thu, 09 Oct 2014Honda engines were the dominant force in Formula One through portions of the '80s and '90s, powering championship-winning teams at Williams and McLaren. It tried to recapture some of that magic in the 2000s but wasn't nearly as successful. For the 2015 F1 season, the Japanese brand is returning to the paddock yet again as a partner with McLaren, and in a new video it's acknowledging all of those past victories while looking forward to the uncertain future.
The video offers yet another chance to hear Honda's mill, and this time it's doing a simulated lap of Suzuka. Unfortunately, it's not entirely a joy to listen to. Like most of the current F1 field, it's a bit droning and just lacks the piercing scream of yesteryear.
With so many years out of the F1 game and completely different engine rules to overcome, the brand is essentially coming back to the sport blind. But any new competitors are a welcome addition to a series that can sometimes get rather staid. Maybe Honda and McLaren can rekindle their old flame to win another championship.
