I'm selling this 1991 Honda CRX SI  manual 5 speed transmission. It has only 113,xxx miles! All original! Adult owned and garaged kept.

These cars are becoming increasingly difficult to locate. I purchased this car a few months ago with the intention to restore it but needed the garage space . This car was previously owned by a 70 years old man and decided to pass it down to his grandson whom sold to me in December. This car had a minor accident by the grandson. The guy didn't want to spend to money to repair it and decided to sell it. Please see pictures before and after.

The car looks and drives fantastic, it is obviously 23 years old and has a couple things that need to be addressed which are mentioned below. Please serious buyer's only. I would like to find a buyer who will continue to care for this vehicle and is wiling to do what it takes to keep this beautiful classic Honda on the road. I have clean title in hand, car will be sold as it is shown.

Some of the new parts / improvements last month:

- Replaced new battery

- Replaced & painted new hood

- Replaced new thermostat & radiator

- Replaced front L & R axle; oil pan gasket

- Replaced 4 new tires & wheel alignment

- Replaced & painted new sunroof panel

The Good:

- Car starts every time and runs very smooth.

- No noise

- Small rust near rear left panel.

- All Check Panel lights work and there are no errors.

Things that may need to be fixed/need attention:
- AC needs to be charged.

- Sunroof tilt but does not slide.

- driver seat small rips

Deposit of $1000 required within 48 hours of end of auction. Remaining balance will be paid cash only when vehicle is picked up . Buyer is responsible for shipping and pick up.

Acura NSX prototype gets back on track

Thu, 30 Oct 2014

Developing a new vehicle is not without its complications, we're sure, but usually things follow a fairly predictable progression: you develop a prototype, you test it, test it and test it again, then you put it into production. What you don't expect is that your prototype will burn to the ground, but that's what famously happened to the NSX which Honda engineers were testing a few months ago.
Fortunately, the Acura NSX prototype is back on track, both literally and figuratively, as you can see from this latest batch of spy shots snapped at the Nürburgring. This camouflaged prototype looks pretty much the same as the last one, only, you know... less crispy. Which is to say, it looks pretty much ready to hit showrooms.
The naysayers may point out that Honda chose colder and damper weather to put the NSX back into testing - thereby mitigating the risk of another fire - but we're sure the Japanese automaker has been working hard to fix the flammability issues, whatever may have caused them, over the past few months. At least, we hope they have.

Honda motorcycles most stolen, just like Honda autos

Tue, 26 Nov 2013

It comes as no surprise that Honda's Civic and Accord are the most stolen cars in America, but as it turns out, thieves like the company's motorcycles the most too, according to a study by the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). Out of the 46,061 two-wheelers stolen in 2012, 9,082 of them were Hondas. While that's bad news for Honda motorcycle owners, at least motorcycle theft went down slightly from 2011, which had 46,667 reported thefts. Motorcycle theft recoveries, on the other hand, were just 39 percent.
Yamaha is up next in the theft rankings (7,517), then Suzuki (7,017). The numbers drop a bit for fourth and fifth place, Kawasaki (4,839) and Harley-Davidson (3,755). These five brands are far and away the most stolen motorcycles: sixth place, apparently held by scooter, dirtbike and ATV maker Taotao, dropped to 914 theft reports.
California had the most reported thefts (6,082), followed by Florida (4,110), Texas (3,400), North Carolina (2,574) and Indiana (2,334). By city, New York City had the most reported thefts (903), followed by Las Vegas (757), San Diego (633), Indianapolis (584) and Miami (535.

Honda HR-V gets early reveal

Mon, 17 Nov 2014

If the Honda HR-V feels awfully familiar to you by now, you're not alone. We've seen it debut in Japanese form (dubbed "Vezel"), caught a prototype in Paris, and Honda first showed us the US-spec version in press-photo form all the way back at the New York Auto Show in April. We're finally going to get all the details on Honda's new subcompact crossover this week as part of the Los Angeles Auto Show, but first, we're getting an early look at the CUV today.
We met the Honda HR-V for a cup of coffee this morning at Randy's Donuts just outside of Los Angeles, and got our first look at the new CUV in the metal. It's a handsome little thing, offering a higher-riding, more butch alternative to the Fit hatchback on which it's based. We particularly like how the rear door handles are integrated into the pillars, for an almost three-door look from some angles.
Technical details are still scarce as of this writing, though we expect those to be revealed during Honda's press conference on Wednesday. For now, we just know that the HR-V should be an incredibly practical little thing, using the Magic Seat system that has made the Fit such a versatile and capacious subcompact. Stay tuned for more, and see the HR-V from all angles in our live gallery, above.
