1990 Honda Crx Si Coupe 2-door 1.6l on 2040-cars
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
1990 Honda CRX SI. Both front axels are less than a year old. New inner & outer tie rods. New lower ball joints on both passenger and driver side. new radiator, new distributor, new starter, new ignition inside and out, rebuilt transmission, stainless steel exhaust from manifold back, tires have some good thread left on them. Entire rear end of the car was replaced, spindles, and shocks about 45k miles ago. New A/C compressor, receiver dryer, power windows, Alpine Stereo, power sunroof. A/C needs to be charged. This car was restored twice, and I no longer wish to restore it again. The car needs either a new starter or a starter solenoid, it will only start by jumping the starter with a screw driver. The ignition inside the car was replaced, so you'll have one key for the door lock and the other to start the car. Passenger side door lock needs replacement. Included in the sales are a set of fog lights, a spare coolient fan, set of brake pads, clear coated left and right front directional fixtures, spare relays, car wax, and cleaner, spare donut tire and jack. It’s either a great car to restore once again, or for parts. The sunroof has major rust, but doesn’t leak. The car will be sold “AS IS” no warranty, replacements, or refunds, sale is final. Any question, please feel free to ask. |

Automotive April Fools' joke roundup [w/videos]
Mon, 01 Apr 2013Happy April, everyone. And we all know what this first day of the month means: April Fools' Day. Today is a national holiday for pranksters with the Internet acting as a serious enabler, and it's always fun to see what kind of vivid imaginations exist out there in the automotive world. The abundance of fake news gets a little old as the day rolls on, but we did manage to get in a few chuckles thanks to a handful of major automakers and automotive news outlets that got into the pranking spirit this year
Some of our favorites this year includes Subaru showing what happens when you combine a bunch of rumors, a Corvette some may have already thought was a joke or Honda providing some in-car innovation circa the late 1980s. Honestly, we're still waiting for official confirmation from Mitsubishi that the recently introduced 2014 Mirage is an elaborate April Fools' joke using a failed design intended for the 1995 Geo Metro. We dug up as much "official" OEM foolishness we could find, as well as some of our other favorites, and posted them all below.
McLaren pondering Honda-powered 911 killer?
Tue, 21 May 2013As one of the premier sports cars in the world, the Porsche 911 is always driving around with a target on its rear-engined backside. If a new report is to be believed, the latest automaker with plans to build a 911-fighting sports coupe could be McLaren. Motor Trend is reporting that the recent news that Honda and McLaren are teaming up to build Formula One racecars could bear road-going fruit as well.
According to the article, the unnamed entry-level McLaren coupe may be powered by a Honda-sourced engine, but a detuned version of the 3.8-liter V8 from the MP4-12C is said to be more likely. All in, though, there is no solid information on the car just yet. As a reminder, M/T points out that the last time McLaren partnered up with a mainstream automaker, the world was introduced to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.
2013 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]
Wed, 12 Dec 20122012 is almost in the books and automakers are spending December gearing up for the 2013 auto show season, which tips off next month at the Detroit Auto Show. Traditionally, the latter opens up with the announcement of the North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards, and this year figures to be no different.
But up until this moment, we didn't know which six vehicles would be parked ahead of the stage as finalists, with executives and engineers waiting for the winners to be disclosed. Whittled down from October's "short list" of nominees (11 cars and 10 truck/utility vehicles), the finalists are as follows:
2013 North American Car of the Year:
