For sale is a 1988 CRX DX that I have had for 4 years. The car is in excellent shape with just a little rust in the corner panel, Had planes to repaint or vinyl rap the car, started to rap the car with carbon fiber vinyl and just haven’t had time to finish. The driver side by the gas door has been pushed in not sure how I got the car that way.
She gets around 32-35 MPG with the ZC transmission. I had fun with the car just need to sale to get a bigger vehicle for the family,  she needs some one to drive her more and have fun.
Rebuilt  the motor 8 months ago and went a little NUTS on rebuild, bored the D16z6 .20 over and put NIPPON racing pistons in and balanced the rod and pistons to .5 gram from one another. Match ported the intake and the exhaust with a lite polish job. ZC pistons in a d16zc makes the compression 12.5 so I put a COMETIC 65mm head gasket to set it around 11.1 so I can run 91+ fuel, put around 2000 miles on her and  2 oil changes, runs really strong. Running only Royale Purple 5w30 with a OEM oil filter.
Fix the AC and put R134A freon in it blows cool air
Had to repair the climent control with a metal plate but looks good
Just had the rear suspension converted over to disc brakes with all new parts with Integra 40/40 proportioning valve.

Honda, Top Gear working on 130-mph lawn mower

Wed, 12 Jun 2013

We're not even sure they've got a blade of Kentucky Bluegrass to cut, but the folks at Top Gear have gone ahead and started building what will become, if they're successful, the world's fastest lawn mower. Actually, it appears Top Gear is not doing much of the design and assembly work at all, instead having solicited help from experts at Honda and Team Dynamics, which oversees the automaker's touring car efforts.
What the three are working on is a riding lawnmower with a 110-hp engine that can reach 60 miles per hour in four seconds and trim turf at speeds up to 130 mph. If they succeed, such a maximum velocity would put them well ahead of the current record for the world's fastest lawnmower, which is 96.529 mph set by Bobby Cleveland and his Snapper race mower at the Bonneville Salt Flats in September of 2010. Top Gear hasn't said whether or not it will officially go after Cleveland's record, but the build will be featured in an upcoming issue of the Top Gear magazine and is scheduled to be completed by June 17, so we may learn what this maniacal mower's true purpose is then.
According to TG's report on how the build is going, as well as the video of it being fired up (literally) for the first time below, there aren't many actual mower parts left on this machine. What started out as a Honda HF2620 mower now sports wheels and tires from a racing quad, a back axle from a go-kart, a steering rack from a Morris Minor and a 1000cc engine from a Honda VTR1000F sport bike. All that remains from the original mower are the pedals and body panels; even the steel cutting deck has been replaced with a lighter fiberglass version. And blades? This mower will be bladeless, instead using two electric motors to spin lengths of brake cable like a weed whacker.

Honda recalling 871,000 SUVs and minivans over rollaway fear

Wed, 12 Dec 2012

Honda is recalling 871,000 SUVs and minivans for an issue in which the vehicles may roll away after the key has been removed from the ignition. Ninety-two percent of the recalled vehicles, or 807,000 vehicles, are in the US. According to a report from Reuters, the effected vehicles include certain numbers of the Honda Odyssey and Pilot, as well as the Acura MDX. Here are the recall figures:
2003-2004 Honda Odyssey: 318,000 vehicles
2003-2004 Honda Pilot: 259,000 vehicles

Honda Vision XS-1 Concept looks like a sportier Vezel [w/video]

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

We've talked a lot about the Honda Vezel over the past few months, as the Autoblog staff is looking forward to the Fit-based CUV. It's a handsome little vehicle, that we think will do quite well when it finally arrives in the US market. That said, it's not a particularly exciting vehicle to look at.
Along with the appearance of the Mugen-tuned Vezel at the Tokyo Auto Salon, though, a new concept that's being shown by Honda today at India's Delhi Auto Expo has us hopeful for a Vezel that looks a bit more assertive. It's called the Vision XS-1 Concept, and it's a seven-passenger (yes, seven) crossover that features minivan-style sliding doors. It sports Honda's "Exciting H Design," which is the same design philosophy used by the stylists that penned the new Fit. Unfortunately, at the moment, Honda has provided exactly zero details about what powers its new concept.
As a concept for the Indian market, which is home to some of the tightest, most congested roads on the planet, the stylish XS-1 is meant to demonstrate that Honda knows a thing or six about building compact vehicles. In that regard, we think it's a spot-on piece of work. Let us know what you think of it in Comments, but first, have a look up top for a gallery of images and then scroll down for a brief video and the official press release from Honda.
