Honda, Leather, Sunroof, Power Seats, Luxury, Multi-disc Changer, Accord, 2008 on 2040-cars
Wilmington, Delaware, United States
This is a well maintained, ONE OWNER, great condition 2008 Honda Accord EX-L. This vehicle was purchased Brand New in 2008. This vehicle comes equipped with all the luxurious features that Honda has to offer. I must admit, I was a Honda hater before I met my wife 6 yrs ago, and I had a chance to drive this vehicle. I am a Chevy guy, but I must admit, the luxury and look to this Honda is pretty great. The only reason we are selling this vehicle is because she wants an Acura, and I told informed her that her car would be worth a lot toward a trade or cash value. This vehicle is in great condition. No mechanical issues, drives like a Honda should, and we have kept up with vehicle maintenance specifications. Check the VIN. This vehicle has only had BODY repair, no mechanical WHAT-SO-EVER. Power Everything, Sunroof, Multiple Disc CD Changer, Leather Seats. If you are serious about purchasing a very nice vehicle with good milage, and looking to keep it another 6-9 years at least? I suggest you come check this Honda out before you make a final decision. I am serious, I am very impressed how Honda's hold their value and run strong for many years after purchase. She told me this years ago, but now I am a believer. I am actually considering trading in my Impala for a V6 Honda Accord. We are looking for a fair purchase price. Once we make a deal, 35% of purchase price must be sent via PayPal with in 48hrs. Once we receive an email picture of Drivers License/Photo ID - We can continue to discuss how the vehicle can/may be shipped, or when and where you can pick up the vehicle. We are an honest, hardworking, and smart middle class couple who want to strike a fair deal. This Honda will not be up here long, given we have several friends and family members constantly hounding us to hold out before we sell it. Thank you for your inquiry and consideration on purchasing this vehicle.

Honda working on 'power exporter' to go with fuel-cell vehicle
Fri, Nov 28 2014The bad news, as we've previously reported, is that Honda's first production hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle won't debut until 2016, a bit later than expected. The good news is that the automaker may produce a device that will let that FCV's motor power up other devices as well. So it's a tradeoff of sorts. The company is producing what it calls the Power Exporter Concept. Put simply, it's a device that can connects to the fuel-cell vehicle and produce AC power (the picture makes it look fairly small, but dimensions weren't disclosed). The device has a maximum output of 9 kilowatts. Honda isn't saying much else about the device, which was announced along with further details of the company's upcoming fuel-cell concept vehicle. Still, it's heady yet not terribly surprising stuff from a company that's long been a big player on the portable power generator industry. Honda recently said its first production fuel-cell vehicle would see the light of day in early 2016 instead of 2015. The futuristic-looking vehicle will have a power output of about 130 horsepower and will be able to have its hydrogen tank filled up in less than five minutes. Take a look at Honda's press release below. Honda Unveils All-New FCV CONCEPT Fuel-Cell Vehicle - Striving to Realize a CO2-free Society by Combining FCV with an external power feeding device and Smart Hydrogen Station - TOKYO, Japan, November 17, 2014 - Honda Motor Co., Ltd. today unveiled, for the first time in the world, the Honda FCV CONCEPT, a concept car for an all-new fuel-cell vehicle (FCV), and the Honda Power Exporter CONCEPT, a concept model for an external power feeding device that enables AC power output from the FCV with maximum output of 9 kW*1. The all-new FCV that will be based on this concept model is scheduled to go on sale in Japan by the end of March, 2016 and subsequently in the U.S. and Europe. In addition to the FCV and external power feeding device, Honda will further promote the application of the Smart Hydrogen Station (SHS), a packaged hydrogen station unit that adopts Honda's original high-differential-pressure electrolyzer. In this way, Honda will work toward the forthcoming hydrogen society under three key concepts – "generate," "use" and "get connected" – and strive for the early realization of a CO2-free society.
As US exports top 2 million, is America becoming the world's source of cheap cars?
Mon, Feb 9 2015North American auto production is booming with 2014 figures just shy of the of the 17.3-million vehicle record set in 2000. With more models being built on the continent, even more are being shipped overseas. Factories in the US exported 2.1 million cars last year – the highest number ever. About half of those went to Canada and Mexico, but more than ever have been heading to places like the Middle East and China. The upswing comes in part from from after-effects from the Great Recession, according to The Wall Street Journal. With a weak dollar and lower production costs after the financial crisis, building vehicles in the US was relatively cheaper and more competitive in the world. At the same time buyers around the world are going crazy for crossovers. According to the WSJ, BMW and Mercedes-Benz are already exporting the majority of their US production of these models overseas. Both automakers have also announced investments to expand production further here to send more vehicles abroad. Even Honda has been shipping more models out of the country than it imported here. There is a concern this international strength could start slowing because the dollar is strengthening against other currencies, though it's too early to know what the actual effect of this could be, according to the WSJ. "Of course, we closely watch currency exchange, but we don't make changes in production or allocation based on temporary fluctuations in the exchange rate," Ford North American boss Joe Hinrichs told the newspaper.
