NO RESERVE   NO RESERVE   NO RESERVE

I'm a private seller.  There are no hidden doc fees, admin fees, or taxes.. What you bid is what you pay..

Hi, I'm selling my 2005 Honda Accord Lx 5spd *** NO  RESERVE***, due to me buying a newer car.. It has the 2.4 I-VTEC four cylinder with a TIMING CHAIN, no timing belt, that's a good thing.. Being it is a 5 spd Honda with a timing chain, this car should run for a very very long time.. It has a rebuilt Alabama title from a minor front end accident that happened and was fully repaired and inspected by the previous owner..  It has 200k miles, cold a/c, hot heat, new radiator, hoses, spare tire but no jack,  factory radio w/ cd player, power windows, locks, and mirrors.. All of the lights and signals work properly.. The interior is in very good shape, I rate it a 8 out of 10 and I'm a very detailed person.. There are no chips or cracks on any of the windows or windshield.. It comes with one original key, "that has seen better days" with the built in keyless entry.. It doesn't smoke, no weird noises, and doesn't leak any fluids..  The car runs great, shifts smooth, and  drives good.. It has been garage kept by me, and gets 28 mpg's combined..

The car has been painted.. The original color was a dark shade of silver. It is now gray, not a big difference between the two.. They painted the original rims black at the same time.. All this was done by the previous owner when they had it repaired

The NOT SO GOOD:

The tires are around 50%. No major dents or scratches but I'd rate the paint / body a 6 out of 10 from up close.. It looks a little better in these pics than it does in person..  The check engine light is on, had it scanned at a national parts store and no codes came up, not sure why its on.. It does need an alignment, I think some front shocks, the low beams seem aimed a little low,  and the cruise does not work..

Auction Terms

This is a NO RESERVE auction meaning the highest bidder will be the successful winner.. If you have a score lower than a 10 next to your user name please send me a message so I'll know that you understand the terms of this auction..There's a $200 deposit via PAY PAL within the first 24 hours after the auction ends.. The balance will be due by CASH within 7 days, unless we discuss and agree on a different payment method..  So please have your funds already in your account and readily available..

The car is located in Huntsville, AL and can be viewed and test driven..  two five six 513 one 6 four one

***** This is a no reserve auction, I reserve the right to end auction early only to a Ebay bidder if the price gets up near  a certain amount.. I will not end the auction within the last 24 hours..

This is a used car and I've described my Accord to the best of my knowledge..  Any questions feel free to send me a message, text, or call..   two five six 513 one 6 four one..

Thanks and happy bidding

Honda issues bizarre non-recall on Odyssey over badge placement

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

Without looking under the hood or at a vehicle history report, one of the easiest way to tell if a car has had body work done is to check the location and placement of the exterior badges. A crooked, misplaced or missing badge can be a telltale sign that there has been some sort of body or paint work. For this reason, Honda is suggesting that some owners of the 2014 Odyssey take their vans into the dealership for a little rebadging.
The topic was brought to light after Consumer Reports received a notice from Honda saying that the "Odyssey" badge on its test vehicle was incorrectly installed at the factory. The badge is supposed to go on the driver's side of the liftgate (as shown above), but the customer vehicles had it placed on the passenger side of the car. Not a huge deal unless an owner is trying to sell the vehicle and the improperly installed badge leads potential owners into believing the vehicle may have been damaged in some way. Here's what Honda said in its letter:
On some 2013 Odyssey vehicles, the Odyssey emblem was incorrectly installed on the passenger's side of the rear tailgate. The emblem should be installed on the drivers' side of the rear tailgate. American Honda Motor Company highly recommends that you participate in this Product Update. The placement of the emblem may indicate that the vehicle has had repairs performed that are consistent with it being in a crash. This could affect the resale value of the vehicle.

NHTSA investigating 343,000 Honda Odyssey minivans

Sat, 06 Jul 2013

The recall bug could strike Honda again as the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened another investigation concerning the Odyssey minivan. Honda has already recalled 59,000 Odysseys from the 2012 and 2013 model years due to a shift interlock issue, and another 320,000 of the minivans from 2003-04 are being investigated for faulty airbags. Now, TheDetroitBureau.com is reporting that NHTSA is taking a look at the 2007-08 Odyssey for a problem associated with the brakes.
This investigation reportedly includes 343,000 Odysseys that could be suffering from an unexpected application of the brakes. According to the article, at least 22 people have reported such an issue, and in five cases, dealers found a trouble code associated with the steering angle sensor - part of the anti-lock brake and stability control systems. There is still no indication as to whether or not this will become a recall, but Honda has already recalled more than 1.8 million units this year.

Honda stretches new Shuttle to Fit the Japanese market

Tue, Apr 21 2015

While the Honda Odyssey that we get here in North America may be getting bigger with each passing generation, the minivans Honda offers in its home market are still pretty small. Like the new Shuttle. Set to be unveiled in full next month, the new Shuttle is a compact minivan that looks like a longer version of the Fit hatchback we get over here. In fact previous versions were marketed as the Fit Shuttle, but the little hatchback's handle seems to have been dropped from this latest model. It's still a five-seater, but with extra cargo capacity including under-floor storage, all in a compact, Tokyo-friendly form. It's not as small as a Kei car – the miniature vehicle segment which Honda covers with its N series – but would likely be far too small to suit the typical American family. Technical details are still forthcoming, but the new Shuttle will be available with a 1.5-liter direct-injection inline-four or a hybrid powertrain, just like the Fit. But unlike the little hatchback we know, it will also be available with all-wheel drive.
