Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States

Condition:
For sale is my 2004 Honda Accord Coupe with a 2.4L V-TEC engine and automatic transmission. It runs great, it just had quite a bit of mechanical work to prolong its life.
There are no leaks, smells, noises, or mechanical issues that I am aware of. Everything works ok. This would be a good first car, daily driver, commuter, present, or a project car.
I am selling it because I got a new car and do not need it anymore.

Features:
Heated front seats
Tan leather interior
Wood grain style trim
Dual HVAC controls
Power Windows
Power Locks
Power Doors
Power Sunroof
CD-player
FM/AM radio
XM radio programmed- I let the subscription run out
Driver/Passenger Airbags
Anti-lock brakes
Microchip Key w/ built in security

History:
The previous driver of this vehicle damaged the motor by running it low on oil- so this car had a new 2.4L V-TEC motor installed professionally.
Shortly after the motor was replaced, the transmission started slipping gears so it had a new transmission installed professionally also. The motor and trans have under 40,000 miles on them.
I have put about $2500 into the motor and trans alone- altogether about $6,000 worth of work has gone into this car since I've had it. I have receipts for the motor and transmission work.
It has current inspection stickers and the tires are practically brand new.
The interior of this vehicle is clean.

IF THE VEHICLE IS SOLD LOCALLY ONLY: I can arrange a warranty agreement on the car through my mechanic for 12 months 12,000 miles- local sales ONLY

Within 24 hours of auction end, a $500 deposit is due. Full payment must be made withing 7 days of auction end, via money order or cash at pickup.

2014 Honda Accord V6 Touring

Mon, 03 Mar 2014

America's midsize sedan segment is one of the most crowded and fiercely competitive in the business. The Toyota Camry has long been our nation's best seller, while the Honda Accord has dutifully come in second place, like some sort of codependent Cal Naughton Jr. riding Ricky Bobby's back bumper.
There was that one year, 2001, when the Accord briefly broke the Camry's streak, marring what would today have been a 17-year-long run of best-selling car titles. The Accord pulled the opposite move in 2011, letting sales slip far enough to let not only the Toyota by, but the Nissan Altima and Ford Fusion, as well. Aside from those anomalies, the Camry and Accord have been first and second in this segment since before many of you readers could even drive.
It's 2014, and these frenemies have never before faced a threat to their world order as strong as today's class of family sedans. The aforementioned Altima and Fusion are perhaps the most capable challengers, but the Chevrolet Malibu, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Optima, Volkswagen Passat and Mazda6 are all capable of convincing new buyers to walk their way.

Honda CR-V spot delights with 'impossible' illusions

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

Mind-blowing car commercials that employ optical illusions and jaw-clenching stunts instead of computer animation are becoming the norm these days, and everybody from Volvo Trucks to Forza Motorsport 5/McLaren are regular contributors to the growing trend. Honda joins the crowd in its latest European commercial for the CR-V 1.6 i-DTEC Diesel, and uses well-placed props and well-drawn imagery to trick viewers into seeing the "impossible."
The old-fashioned optical illusion is alive and well in Honda's "An Impossible, Made Possible" spot, so go ahead and watch it and the making-of video below.

Honda renders three-row MPV for Jakarta reveal

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

In preparation for the Indonesia International Motor Show coming up in September, Honda has released a teaser sketch (click to enlarge) of a new three-row MPV - specifically designed for this region - set to debut at the show. Honda says this yet-to-be-named people mover will be positioned in the entry-level MPV segment, which it says is a crucial part of the Indonesian auto market.
While there is no way to tell the size of the vehicle based off this rendering, it does appear to be far more stylish than the Honda CR-V, although the stepped-down beltline and the pinched shape of the rear quarter window have us thinking that Honda designers have been staring at the BMW i3 a little bit too much. The New Honda MPV will be powered by a 1.5-liter gas engine, and it goes on sale (and production) in Indonesia early next year. Honda has released a short press release for the new model, which is posted below.
