This car was purchased brand new in 2003 from Braman Honda in Palm Beach,Fl. We have been the only owners. It has a clear title. It was always garaged. It has high mileage(186953). Full power throughout. There are some issues with the vehicle: The driver seat recline function(tilt back and forward) is stuck, the brake and TCS light is on(reason is the master cylinder sensor is defective and the master cylinder needs to be replaced only because of the sensor(the vehicle braking is not affected), check engine light is on(two 02 sensors need replacing), transmission winds out from 2nd-3rd and won't engage. There are a few dings and scratches on vehicle, but overall the body is in very good shape. Cash only for this sale. Vehicle is sold in "As-Is" condition. Inspection may be done by the purchaser at his/her own cost & time.Vehicle must be picked up by buyer at location of vehicle. Seller does not deliver. Paypal deposit is "Non-Refundable". |

Honda settles class-action lawsuit over oil-burning V6s
Wed, 23 Oct 2013Although we hadn't heard of this issue before, Automotive News reports that Honda has agreed to settle a massive class-action lawsuit brought against it for engine trouble potentially affecting nearly 1.6 million vehicles. The lawsuit includes Accord (2008-12), Odyssey (2008-13), Pilot (2009-13) and Crosstour (2010-13) models equipped with the 3.5-liter V6 with Variable Cylinder Management, which might experience engine misfire, excessive oil burning and premature spark plug fouling issues.
As part of the settlement, Honda will extend the powertrain warranty on these models for eight years (from time of purchase or lease) with no mileage limitation, and it will also reimburse customers who had to pay out-of-pocket expenses for related repairs such as spark plugs, pistons or, in some cases, apparently, an entirely new engine. (Of course, the repairs had to be related to certain trouble codes.) Lawyers will get no more than $800,000 from Honda and the guy who originally started the case, Vince Eagen, will get $1,000 for his "time and effort."

NSX Concept-GT is the world's hottest way to boil water
Sat, 05 Oct 2013The Honda NSX Concept-GT is one sexy machine, and it looks to be a very effective tool on a race circuit. But Honda's latest web spot leads us to believe that it also can be used to make tea.
In the video, the racecar is hooked up to an apparatus that uses tubing to harness the energy from the car's 500-horsepower hybrid drive system, using it to boil water. The novel tea-making technique reminds us a bit of a couple other inventive Honda commercials, namely Hands and Cog.
