Selling My 1995 Honda Accord LX. The car is automatic has 106K on it and will go up since it's my daily driver. Car is white and Interior is tan. Body does show sign of wear for a car that's over 15 years old interior is about 7/10. Plenty of things done to the car include: Injen Short Ram Intake
Megan Brand Headers
Performance Exhaust
Control Arms we're replaced less than a year ago Oil Change was less than 2 weeks ago usually change it about every 5 months
Just had my rack and pinion wheel alignment, new wheels and different rims done by a professional mechanic spent over $900 to fix it. Still have the stock Rims and tired I'll throw those in as well. AC and heater work well just had it redone by a mechanic at Exxon Mobile. Car also includes and after market Radio with an AUX input. This Honda is pretty reliable and good on gas too Hondas have been known to go into the 300K miles on them so it's built to last.

Cons: Since it is a honda and I do have an after market exhaust and headers you do get that deep base sound it's not really a problem with me but I do know some buyers aren't too found of it.

When my mechanic fixed my rack and pinion my SRS light came on I didn't know why but a few days later when I tried honking my horn it didn't work I went back to him he told me I needed to get a new module or something like that I haven't gotten an estimate for it but I'm willing to negotiate lower if I don't get it done. Reason for selling the car I'm in the process of getting a new car plus I'm about 6'4 so it can be a bit annoying driving it. For anymore information or to view the car text me at 516-492-9643 ask for Michael. Looking to have gone by the end of next week NO TRADES. Scammers with the whole ship car to air base etc will be ignored

Honda stretches new Shuttle to Fit the Japanese market

Tue, Apr 21 2015

While the Honda Odyssey that we get here in North America may be getting bigger with each passing generation, the minivans Honda offers in its home market are still pretty small. Like the new Shuttle. Set to be unveiled in full next month, the new Shuttle is a compact minivan that looks like a longer version of the Fit hatchback we get over here. In fact previous versions were marketed as the Fit Shuttle, but the little hatchback's handle seems to have been dropped from this latest model. It's still a five-seater, but with extra cargo capacity including under-floor storage, all in a compact, Tokyo-friendly form. It's not as small as a Kei car – the miniature vehicle segment which Honda covers with its N series – but would likely be far too small to suit the typical American family. Technical details are still forthcoming, but the new Shuttle will be available with a 1.5-liter direct-injection inline-four or a hybrid powertrain, just like the Fit. But unlike the little hatchback we know, it will also be available with all-wheel drive.

West Coast labor dispute hampers Japanese automakers' US plants

Wed, Feb 18 2015

The ongoing labor dispute between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and port owners along the West Coast is starting to affect more Japanese automakers building vehicles in the US. The issue already forced Honda and Subaru to take the expensive option of airlifting some parts into the US weeks ago, and according to USA Today, Toyota and Nissan have begun doing so, as well. The choice hasn't been cheap, though, and Subaru's chief financial officer estimated that the decision cost around $60 million more per month than sending components by cargo ship. The effects continue to radiate, according to USA Today, and shortages of some models are possible. Honda is slowing production at its factories in Ohio, Indiana and Canada because the automaker doesn't have enough transmissions and electronics for some vehicles. Toyota already cut back on overtime at some factories. Nissan has only seen a small effect from the issue, though, because of its local suppliers. Dock workers and port owners have been negotiating on a new contract since last year, and the union has organized work slowdowns in response. According to USA Today, the automakers could move shipments to Canada or Mexico, but it would take longer for parts to arrive. Honda poised for growth, Detroit to hold steady, Car Wars study says

Fri, Jun 5 2015

The automotive industry is expected to keep booming in the US over the next several years, but the train might start running out of steam in the long term, according to 2015's Car Wars report from Bank of America Merrill Lynch analyst John Murphy. The forecast focuses on changes between the 2016 and 2019 model years, and the latest trends appear similar in some cases to the past predictions. Sales are expected to keep growing and reach a peak of 20 million in 2018, according to the Detroit Free Press. The expansion is projected to come from a quick pace of vehicle launches, with an average of 48 introductions a year – 26 percent more than in 1996. Crossovers are expected to make up a third of these, maintaining their strong popularity. However, Murphy predicts a decline, as well. By 2025, total sales could fall to around 15 million units. As of May 2015, the seasonally adjusted annual rate for this year stands at 17.71 million. Like last year, Honda is predicted to be a big winner in the future thanks to products like the next-gen Civic. "Honda should be the biggest market share gainer," Murphy said when presenting the report, according to Free Press. Meanwhile, in a situation similar to Car Wars from 2012, a lack of many new vehicles is expected to cause a drop for Hyundai, Kia, and Nissan. Based on this forecast, Ford, General Motors, and FCA US will all generally maintain market share for the coming years. The report does make some future product predictions, though. The next Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra might come in 2019, which is earlier than expected. Also, Lincoln could get a Mustang-based coupe for 2017, a compact sedan for 2018 and an Explorer-based model in 2019, according to the Free Press.
