The car has no faults in running as the engine and transmission are intact and the car runs and drives daily. There are no check engine lights or any service required as far as I am aware. I am not the driver however. The car does have a cracked windshield and is missing the drivers side mirror. The car does have a tear in the leather of the drivers seat. Other then that everything else is good on the car. the frame is intact and no dings dents on the body."

I am selling this 1994 Honda Accord EX-L. Any and all funds generated from this auction will go to proceeds to help the further development of alternative energy sources at Brookhaven National Lab. Please help this cause as this is a great way to benefit both parties. The funds will be used for alternative energy sources throughout the United States including many hospitals, government buildings and etc. The goal is to provide these sources at little to no cost and therefore reducing the costs for these buildings and therefore passing the cost reduction to the public. I have this car and another car that I will soon put up as well.

The car is being sold as is. The car does not have any defects as mentioned above. It is being driven daily, the transmission and engine work flawlessly. The car does not have any dents or dings but is missing the drivers side mirror and has cracks in the windshield. The car is offered as a local pickup or can be shipped depending on the buyer and responsibility of the buyer.

The car has had synthetic oil changes every 3000-4000 miles and has had new tires about 3000 miles ago.

If you need a good starter car this is great for a young new driver or a train station car.

If you have any questions you can email me and i can contact the driver on any additional questions.

There is no CHECK ENGINE LIGHT!

The car has passed inspection and is due for inspection in MAY OF 2014

I also have this car locally listed for private buyers, dealers, and a couple NPO so I do reserve the right to cancel the auction at anytime.

Honda and Michael Bolton wish you happy holidays, social-style

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

There's nothing like landing a big celebrity for a high-profile advertising campaign to say to the world "Our brand has still got it!" Dodge, for instance, has been getting huge publicity by landing Will Ferrell as Ron Burgundy, to pitch its entire lineup on TV and on YouTube. Honda meanwhile, has reeled in the biggest fish in the 1990s Soft Pop category, the ineffable Michael Bolton. (We're assuming that Kenny G was booked.) We don't see how this can backfire, Honda.
In an effort to promote its annual holiday-season sales event, Honda has tapped the multitalented Bolton - he sings, acts and stares longingly at you from across the room - to dangle himself as a prize for ardent social media users. That's right, for the next few days (November 18 to 22), people that use the hashtag #XOXOBolton on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Vine, will be entered to win one-of-a-kind "musical greeting cards" from the now very blond crooner.
Not enough Bolton for you? Don't worry, Honda's got Michael booked for six TV commercials to air throughout the holiday season, too. Scroll down to get lost in Bolton's luxuriant eyes watch the promotional video from Honda.

McLaren-Honda goes 8-bit in Turbo Heroes

Sat, Oct 3 2015

Formula One is all about speeding forward, but it's not without its spats of nostalgia – from retro liveries to a return to turbo power. Take, for example, this latest animated short from the McLaren-Honda team. It's called Turbo Heroes, and it sends us back to the days of our childhood in the 1980s and 90s in glorious 8-bit form. Part Street Fighter and part Aryton Senna's Super Monaco Grand Prix, Turbo Heroes is a game-style video short – the start to a series from the looks of things. It portrays an epic battle in which basic animated versions of Jenson Button and Fernando Alonso (coached by a grumpy Ron Dennis, no less) chase the evil Exhaustus in a race to recover the fabled (and equally fictitious) Jade Dragon of Suzuka to its rightful home in Japan. It's brought to you by the same team responsible for the Tooned series that was targeted at today's kids, only this one takes a decidedly different aesthetic approach. If you grew up around the same time as many of us here at Autoblog did, and got a kick out of films like Kung Fury and Scott Pilgrim vs The World, you'll probably enjoy this one. So put on your snapback, grab a can of Jolt Cola, and crank the ghetto blaster you've got hooked up to that Nintendo Entertainment System for a high-speed race down memory lane. You don't even have to blow in the cartridge.

Honda shines the spotlight on Project Drive-In success

Tue, 24 Sep 2013

Project Drive-In, a Honda-sponsored campaign to save drive-in theaters across the country, is beginning to bear fruit, as the first theaters have been informed that they'll be getting free digital projectors. Many theaters still use 35-millimeter film, which is being phased out rather aggressively in the movie industry. The move to digital, meanwhile, requires nearly a six-figure investment, forcing many drive-ins to close up shop for good.
The first phase of the campaign saw the public vote for their favorite drive-in, with the top five getting a free digital projector, courtesy of Honda. There's some touching reaction videos of the owners being informed that they'd won down below. The next phase in the program takes place on Indiegogo, where Project Drive-In is trying to raise $100,000 for the drive-in that's gotten the next highest number of votes. If the Indiegogo campaign reaches that figure before its expiration on October 7, it'll make the donation and reset the meter to save another theater.
Take a look down below for the video from Honda on Project Drive-In, and then do yourselves a favor, and head over to the Project Drive-In Indiegogo campaign, and make a donation.
