Honda Accord Crosstour Ex--2010--excellent Condition on 2040-cars
Pompano Beach, Florida, United States
Excellent condition, very clean, well maintained, by original owner (No $600 dealer fees added on)! This accident -free beauty looks and drives very much like the day I drove it off the Honda Showroom 3.5 yrs. ago. I paid $28,000+taxes for this beautiful Honda. This Crosstour just had the brakes done, synthetic oil changed and 4 new tires put on. It's a beautiful "Tango Red Pearl" with beige cloth interior. I suggest you come and inspect the car before making your purchase. Check my Ebay rating and comments for confidence in who you are dealing with. I also reserve the right to end this auction early as I have the car up for sale locally. It comes with a clean title and clean Carfax History Report. The car and title will be released as soon as my bank certifies receipt of funds. This car is located in Pompano Beach, Florida and buyer is responsible for pick up or shipment. |

Honda will build 2014 Accord Hybrid in Ohio
Thu, 10 Jan 2013Honda has announced that it will invest $23 million in its Marysville, Ohio facility to support production of the upcoming 2014 Accord Hybrid sedan. According to the manufacturer, this means approximately 50 new jobs will be created, and the whole investment will result in a 95,000-square-foot expansion of the Marysville plant.
The Accord Hybrid joins the decidedly homely Accord PHEV (pictured) this fall, using a 2.0-liter i-VTEC Atkinson cycle four-cylinder engine mated to a 124-kilowatt electric motor. Honda has yet to release official power or fuel economy figures for the non-plug-in hybrid version of the Accord.
Honda currently operates four manufacturing facilities in Ohio, with the combined capacity to build up to 700,000 cars and light trucks each year. The Japanese automaker also has a facility in Greensburg, Indiana, where the Civic Hybrid and Acura ILX Hybrid are built.

How to charge up your BMW i3 with a Honda
Sat, Sep 13 2014Behold a cheaper version of BMW's range extender for its i3 plug-in. And it's brought to you by ... Honda? Sort of, if you take the approach that Gadget Review took when it looked for an alternative to ponying up the $4,000 or so for the gas-powered i3 range extender that comes from the factory. What was procured was a Honda portable generator for Home Depot for the experiment, which involved gassing the generator up in a parking lot, plugging in the i3 and going out for a cup of coffee. The result was that, after about a half-hour of charging, the i3 picked up about four miles of driving range. Not exactly revolutionary but it least a bit instructive. And given that Honda generators start at about $800, the idea, while clunky, is potentially cash-saving. Gadget Review briefly took the experiment one-step further by trying to run the generator inside the back of the car and plugging in, complete with a rigged-up ventilation system, but the host thought better of it once he realized that there'd be suffocation involved. Why this was never tried on the Nissan Leaf, we'll never know. Check out Gadget Review's five-minute video below.
