Condition: UsedA vehicle is considered used if it has been registered and issued a title. Used vehicles have had at least one previous owner. The condition of the exterior, interior and engine can vary depending on the vehicle's history. See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"this vehicle is used and would be classified by Kelly Blue book as good condition. It has a few very small dings on the drivers side front fender, small paint chips in the hood from bugs and rocks over the years, and a few small carpet stains. The vehicle is mechanically sound. There is an intermittent service engine soon light that comes on from time to time, my mechanic believes that to be the gas cap no longer getting a perfectly good seal."

History:  I am the second owner of this vehicle I purchased it from Carmax in 2008 at the Kansas City location.  According to the title it had been registered in Pennsylvannia prior and I purchased it with approximately 40000 miles on it.

Condition:  I realize that condition is somewhat subjective given that I am not a dealer.  However in using Kelly blue book as a measuring tool I would say that this vehicle meets the description of good condition.  The paint is not free from blemish, there are a few small dents on the driver side fender, the emergency cable that allows the handle to release it is broken, and it has an intermittent service engine soon light that comes on which my mechanic stated was probably due to an ill fitting gas cap from age.  Over all the vehicle is mechanically sound, and free from any major engine or drive train defect to my knowledge.  I am willing to negotiate my price between fair and good KBB value for the right buyer.

Features:  This Yukon is fair nicely equipped it has heated front leather seats, the driver seat has 2 memory postiions, both front seats are power, it has quad captains chairs, push button 4x4, tow package and hitch (all ready to tow your boat), and moonroof.  The trim level is 1 level lower then the Denali.

Shipping:  Obviously I cannot mail this vehicle to you.  I am willing to drive the vehicle to a destination within 75 miles of Kansas City MO.  I am also willing to drive it to the airport if you are interested in buying a 1 way ticket.  Buyer pays all shipping and transportion costs.  If you bid it is your responsibility to find out how to get it home.  I will help with-in reason.  Message me for further details.

Payment:  I will need a $500 non-refundable secured Paypal deposit at the close  of this auction.  Bring cash in hand for the remainder of the amount upon delivery of the vehicle.  I will not accept any other payment method.  If you have negative feedback or less then 5 on your feedback you need to message me first, and I will likely cancel your bid, due to the likelihood of you bidding and not paying.  Serious bidders only, I reserve the right to cancel any bid at any time.  Finally this is an as-is sale.  I am not a dealer or a mechanic I have done my best to be honest and forth coming with all the information I am aware of, it is an 11 year old vehicle.

GM files for Z71 Trail Boss trademark

Mon, Jan 26 2015

Try as they might to keep their plans a secret, automakers have their hands tipped through a variety of methods – be they through loose lips, spy shots or patent and trademark applications. That's how we know, in this instance, that General Motors is working on (or at least considering) an off-road machine wearing the name Z71 Trail Boss – the name which our compatriots at AutoGuide.com tell us that GM has registered for use on light-duty trucks. Now if that alphanumeric designator sounds familiar, it should. GM has long used it to designate the off-road packages on many of its body-on-frame trucks from Chevy and GMC. These days you can order a Z71 package on the Chevy Colorado, Silverado, Tahoe and Suburban and on the GMC Canyon, Sierra and Yukon. The package typically includes components like a beefed-up suspension bits, high-capacity air cleaner and underbody protection plates. The Trail Boss designator would seem to suggest something further reaching than a suspension package, though. Just what it would entail we don't know; minds immediately start running toward Chevy or GMC going after the Ford F-150 Raptor, but we'll likely be looking at something closer to the Trailhawk packages Jeep offers on the likes of the Renegade and Cherokee. GMC boss wants a Jeep Wrangler rival

Wed, 12 Nov 2014

Challengers come and challengers go, but the Jeep Wrangler continues to push forward even after vehicles like the Toyota FJ Cruiser and the entire Hummer brand have been shut down. Now GMC reportedly wants to take a stab at the quintessential Jeep, as well.
The news comes directly from Buick-GMC vice president Duncan Aldred, speaking with our compatriots over at Edmunds. Although Aldred said there are no plans currently on the table to expand GMC's lineup beyond the current range, "there is plenty of room everywhere in the hierarchy."
That could include a rival to the Wrangler, as well as a flagship luxury SUV positioned above the current Yukon Denali (pictured above). Just when (or for that matter, if) such models might come into fruition remains a big question mark, but it's certainly interesting to see what GM's dedicated truck brand has on the drawing board.

GM will no longer remove parts from trucks to calculate curb weights

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

Following last week's mild uproar after it was discovered that Ford and General Motors were removing some optional parts from their pickups to lower the curb weight and consequently increase the maximum payload, GM has come out and committed to a base curb weight for its upcoming Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon compact trucks (although it has yet to publish them) and its current Silverado and Sierra. The company will do the same for its heavy duty offerings, although those numbers have not been finalized yet.
"This will make our curb weight and payload specs more consistent with those of most other truck makers, making it easier for customers to compare vehicles," GM spokesman Tom Wilkinson told Autoblog in an emailed statement.
As GM notes - and as every manufacturer has noted since this story broke - customers still shouldn't take max payload ratings as gospel. Instead, they should refer to their truck's Tire and Load Label, like the one shown at the inset, which will offer detailed information on max payload, specific to their truck.
