Miles almost all road miles. Eight round trips towing 30 Foot Airstream to Florida and return to Pennsylvania. This is a beautiful, fun vehicle to drive or use to tow the heaviest of trailers, equipped with a Reese hitch, Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller. Having reached the ripe age of 77 without incident, I have stopped towing. Every mechanical/electric component has been replaced: Air conditioning compressor, and heavy duty alternator, battery. During the first 122,000 miles the ABS system had never been activated and stopping working. However, the 3/4 ton braking system is smooth and efficient. I have documentation of all maintenance and original window sticker. 3M Scotch Cal installed when purchased and protected the front of the hood, bumper, side mirrors, and front lights; the hood and bumper became ugly and was professional removed last month. This vehicle is spotless inside and out. Mobile One was factory installed, always used, and changed every 5,000 miles.

The highly-anticipated 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 received Overall Vehicle Scores of five stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's New Car Assessment Program, the highest possible safety rating. They are the first pickup trucks to receive a five-star rating since more rigorous safety standards were implemented in 2011, according to Autoblog. General Motors said in a written release that new technologies, ultra-high-strength steels and six standard airbags helped the automaker improve the truck's performance in crashes. Driving the Panamera and Mike's Rant | Autoblog Podcast #487
Thu, Sep 8 2016This week we cover some recent news like the upcoming Land Rover Discovery, updates to FCA's large car platform (including the Challenger), and talk about water injection. Then we go into what we've been driving - David just finished his time in the Porsche Panamera Turbo and Mike tried the GMC Acadia. And then Mike (who is still uncomfortable writing in the third person) goes on a rant about why automakers shouldn't specify which cars are aimed at women. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want questionable buying advice, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com.
