for sale is my 1999 gmc yukon. it has 151k miles on it. engine has new high flow oil pump and all new gaskets. new tune up-cap rotor fuel filter plugs timing. recent oil change. new coolant and newer radiator. engine runs strong. has flowmaster muffler which sounds nice. 4wd works. newer trans fluid and filter. new power steering pump and steering box. newer brake pads and shoes. tires have some life left but will need to be replaced. exterior is in nice condition only 1 dent on the passenger fender. i have another fender included but it is a different color. interior fairly nice has normal wear. it does have a check engine light on. shop said it needs a new catalytic converter. i have put a lot of time and money into the truck and really can't afford to fix it or i would love to keep it. abs light has been on since i got it no idea why. truck has plenty of life left and will be great for someone who has the time and money to fix the cat. you can come test drive it just email me. thanks for looking.

GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.

GM natural gas-powered vans recalled due to possible leak
Wed, Sep 24 2014General Motors is recalling almost 3,200 of its compressed-natural-gas powered utility vans because of possible leaks. GM and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) released a notice last week saying that 3,196 Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana CNG vans are on recall, though no accidents have been reported due to the possible issue. The recall is specifically for vans for model years ranging from 2011 to 2014. The recall stems from a potential leak from the compressed natural gas high-pressure regulator, and such a leak could cause a fire or explosion. GM will replace the vehicles' high-pressure regulator in order to fix the problem, will do it free of charge and is instructing owners to contact Chevrolet or GMC customer service to arrange for the parts replacement. Utility vehicle makers like General Motors have pushed for fleet sales of CNG-powered vans and trucks for the past few years and have touted them for their cheaper refueling costs relative to standard gasoline, not to mention the fact that natural gas can be readily sourced from throughout North America (thanks, fracking). According to CNGPrices.com, compressed natural gas sells for about $2.22 a gallon, on average, while the AAA is pegging the average price of gas at $3.34 a gallon.
