1999 Gmc K2500 Suburban Ls Sport Utility 4-door 7.4l Great Shape on 2040-cars
Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States
This is the REAL WORKHORSE of ALL Suburbans!! 454 Big Block 7.4L Engine with a 4L80E Automatic Transmission. It is in great shape with REALLY low miles at 79k. No Body dings, dents, nor repairs. Strong Brush guard with HELLA LIGHTS. It has power front seats, heated seats, power windows, locks, and mirrors. Has front and rear AC and heat. The AC has some small leak at the AC fill valve under the hood, so I haven't used the AC for the past year. There is some cosmetic rust on the chrome bumpers (very common problem) and doesn't effect any structure. Could use some new tires. No other issues. It has third row seating and you can fold down the 2nd (60/40 split) row and 3rd row to make a ton of room to haul whatever you need. Factory Tow hitch with wiring in case you are looking to most any trailer around 10,000 +/- lbs... Check tow ratings online. The truck runs and drives smooth, starts right up and drives down the road straight as an arrow. Very smooth riding truck. It has enough power to tow anything and enough space to haul around 7 adults comfortably. Questions...email: CORILEO@AOL.COM |

GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC
Sun, 06 Oct 2013American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
GM claims it's first to sell million 30+ mpg vehicles
Fri, 04 Jan 2013As we continue to put together all the data for the year-end edition of By The Numbers, General Motors has announced that it sold more than a million vehicles in the US last year that achieved at least 30 miles per gallon on the highway. More impressively, GM managed this feat using multiple strategies including small vehicle size, turbocharged engines and hybrid or plug-in technologies across four brands (Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet and GMC) accounting for 13 separate models. This number will grow even more in 2013 thanks to cars like the all-electric Spark, the diesel Cruze, the range-extended Cadillac ELR and the Buick Encore compact CUV.
GM's small car sales were up 39 percent last year helping to attain this million-sales mark for 30-mpg models, and almost 40 percent of all GM sales consisted of cars with fuel-efficient I4 engines. In regards to more advanced means of improving fuel economy, GM says that it plans on having 500,000 vehicles with "some form of electrification" on the road by 2017.
