I'm selling my favorite truck because it sits way too much now , my work has taken too much of my time. This suburban started as a baby blue all power truck , I removed roof and did all custom work my self . Truck has low miles 70k , this was a farm truck from Dallas Tx. Title is a clear Tx Bonded title because it had been lost at ranch where it came from. Truck is current on stickers and inspection. 6.2 diesel( NON TURBO) runs good , factory 40 gallon fuel tank ,a/c compressor was removed , but truck still has factory a/c parts otherwise in dash. I bypassed heater core because it started dripping , has new filters ,and oil change, new tires, new front drive shaft, new rear drive shaft u-joints, tow bar not included , new batteries from Napa, front seat is blue and rear is red , both are seat covered. all power windows still work, tailgate too, except front doors, speakers were installed in lower doors , has nice pioneer CD, offroad lights , If its black on truck its bed liner . Rear roll bar is removable , front two are not. new brakes , manual glow plug system. I use seat belt light as timer to hold in button. I will post some making of truck pictures as well as final pictures of truck .A RED 83 parts chevy suburban was used as extra body parts, note chevy grill. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END AUCTION AT ANY TIME . Buyer must arrange shipping or drive home, full payment in 3 days. prefer PayPal. Pick up must be with in 14 days .

GM confirms 2015 Silverado, Sierra to get 8-speed automatic
Fri, 18 Jul 2014When viewed alongside the next Ford F-150 and the Ram 1500, there is one thing that seems to be missing from the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. Where the F-150 will rely on turbocharging and aluminum architecture and the Ram sports an eight-speed automatic and an air suspension, the General Motors twins lack a big, calling-card feature. They're very good, very refined trucks, but one could argue that they're not terribly innovative.
And while it might not be as flashy a feature as air suspension or a lightweight skin, the Silverado and Sierra will get their own eight-speed automatic for 2015, a transmission that will be paired with the company's Ecotec3 6.2-liter V8. The new cogswapper will also find its way into the GMC Yukon Denali, but for now, there's no indication why the Cadillac Escalade, Suburban, Tahoe and standard Yukon are being left out.
According to GM, the new gearbox is about the same size and weight as the current Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed. By the time the new powertrain combination enters production late this year, the EPA will almost certainly have gotten around to certifying the vehicles' fuel efficiency. Until then, feel free to speculate. The current Silverado with the 6.2 and six-speed auto returns 14 miles per gallon in the city and 20 on the highway. How much do you think the eight-speed will improve those figures? Scroll down for the official press blast from General Motors, and then head into Comments.
Ward's releases 10 Best Interiors list for 2014
Thu, 10 Apr 2014While we're still a ways off from the automotive awards season proper, where things like North American Car and Truck of the Year, Motor Trend's Car of the Year and Car and Driver's Ten Best are named, that doesn't mean there aren't trophies being handed out to deserving automakers. Ward's 10 Best Interiors being one of them.
As the name might imply, the magazine focuses on the very best interior treatments in the US market. Whereas some awards purposely exclude extreme, high-dollar offerings, Ward's considers them - the only requirement is that a vehicle has a "new or significantly redesigned interior."
Ward's offered up the list of winners in simple, alphabetical order, and it only seems fair to do the same:
GM to build outgoing Silverado and Sierra until late 2019
Tue, Nov 6 2018As it has done with previous generations, General Motors is keeping the outgoing versions of its 1500 pickups in production despite the arrival of the all-new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and 2019 GMC Sierra. The production of the previous, K2 generation models will begin to be wound down gradually, according to Automotive News, starting with crew cabs "early next year," and double and regular cab models following during "the early second half of next year." The old model trucks will continue to be built into "late 2019" based on market demand, GM's spokesperson Kim Carpenter said. The Chevrolet will go by the name Silverado LD, with the GMC Sierra designation still to be announced. Some of the outgoing models are built by sharing the assembly work between two GM plants. Partially finished Silverado and Sierra double cab bodies are shipped from Fort Wayne, Ind., to Oshawa, Ont., where the trucks are completed, including receiving paint. This eases the workload in Fort Wayne, where production of the new T1 generation trucks started in July 2018. In January, the Silao plant in Mexico will take on the duties of building new generation regular cab and crew cab trucks. Carpenter also said that the "Oshawa shuttle," as the shared production is called, has been very successful. As a result, 60,000 more trucks will be built than what the original production forecast initially called for. GM's latest quarterly profits, disclosed last week to be $1 billion, have been far higher than expected and will result in full-year profits far higher than what had been predicted in light of steel tariffs. GM isn't the only truck maker taking a similar multi-generation approach for 2019. Both the outgoing and redesigned Ram 1500 are in production, with the previous generation being dubbed Ram 1500 Classic. Related Video:
