2003 GMC SIERRA 4X4
DURAMAX DIESEL

I AM THE SECOND OWNER OF THIS VEHICLE ALTHOUGH I RECENTLY TRANSFERRED IT IN TO MY BUSINESS I HAVE OWNED THE VEHICLE SINCE 2006. I BOUGHT IT IN FLORIDA WITH 116,000 MILES ON IT AND DROVE IT BACK TO MICHIGAN.

THE TRUCK HAS POWER WINDOWS, SEATS , LOCKS, MIRRORS, SATELLITE RADIO, ONSTAR, HOMELINK GARAGE DOOR OPENERS, LEATHER INTERIOR, BOSE RADIO AND MUCH MORE. THERE ARE 2 KEY FOBS FOR THE GM REMOTE ENTRY SYSTEM.

THE TRUCK IS IN GREAT OVER ALL CONDITION AND IS DRIVEN DAILY!
MECHANICALLY THE VEHICLE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
THE DURAMAX AND ALLISON AUTOMATIC ARE A FANTASTIC COMBINATION AND WORK ECONOMICALLY YET POWERFULLY TOGETHER THEY CONSISTENTLY SHIFT SMOOTHLY AND HAVE NEVER FAILED ME. THE FOUR WHEEL DRIVE WORKS FLAWLESSLY

THE TRUCK AVERAGES 15-17 MPG CITY AND HIGHWAY AND I HAVE GOTTEN UP TO 20 MPG ON THE HIGHWAY.

EVERYTHING WORKS ON THIS VEHICLE ALL THE OPTIONS FUNCTION WINDOWS, LOCKS, POWER SEAT, MIRRORS, ONSTAR, XM RADIO, THE RADIO WAS RECENTLY REPLACED BY THE DEALER, AND THE FRONT AND REAR BRAKES WERE JUST DONE BY THE DEALER. THE TIRES WERE JUST REPLACED AND ARE BRAND NEW WITH LESS THAN 100 MILES ON THEM.

WE HAVE NEVER USED THE TRUCK TO HAUL A TRAILER BUT WE HAVE HAULED HEAVY LOADS WITH NO ISSUE WHAT SO EVER!

DON'T LET THE MILEAGE SCARE YOU THIS TRUCK IS ONLY ABOUT HALF WAY THROUGH ITS LIFE. OIL CHANGES AND FUEL FILTER CHANGES HAVE ALL BEEN DONE ON TIME THROUGH THE DEALERSHIP AS HAVE ALL OTHER SERVICES.

I AM SELLING THIS TRUCK BECAUSE I RECENTLY PURCHASED A NEW TRUCK. I DO NOT WANT TO KEEP THIS TRUCK AND HAVE IT SIMPLY SIT AROUND  UNUSED.

I WOULD ENCOURAGE ANYBODY TO COME AND LOOK AT THE TRUCK AND DRIVE IT OR SEND AN INSPECTOR TO HAVE IT INSPECTED BEFORE BUYING.

I KNOW OF 3 COSMETIC ISSUES THE TRUCK HAS:
1) THE DRIVERS SEAT IS WEARING WHERE YOU SLIDE IN AND OUT OF IT.
2) THE STEERING WHEEL MOUNTED CONTROLS ARE SHOWING WEAR.
3) THE WINDSHIELD HAS STONE CHIPS THAT HAVE ALL BEEN REPAIRED AND SEALED.
WE HAVE DRIVEN IT WITH THE CHIPS FOR SEVERAL YEARS THEY ARE NOT IN THE LINE OF SIGHT.

OTHER THAN THESE 3 ITEMS, WHICH ARE ALL COSMETIC, THE TRUCK NEEDS NOTHING AND IS IN GREAT CONDITION, THE BODY SHOWS SOME NICKS AND SCRATCHES BUT NOTHING INDICATIVE OF THE VEHICLES AGE OR MILEAGE. THE TRUCK LOOKS AMAZING FOR BEING 11 YEARS OLD.

THE TRUCK IS BEING SOLD IN "AS IS" CONDITION AND SHIPPING IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER!

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS AND I WILL ANSWER THEM AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.

GM appears to repurpose Saturn Outlook parts on new Acadia

Thu, 09 Feb 2012

General Motors unveiled the company's refreshed GMC Acadia at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show yesterday, and if you were paying attention, you may have noticed something curious about the vehicle. While the new Acadia looks considerably better than its predecessor, a few components of the design looked more than a little familiar. Upon closer observation, it appears that GM has simply repurposed elements of the now defunct Saturn Outlook crossover on the 2013 Acadia. Both vehicles seem to share the same wrap-around rear glass, back hatch, tail light openings and exaggerated, squared-off fender arches.
While the vehicles are differentiated by badging, tail lamps and a rear valance, there's no denying the similarities toward the vehicle's rear. Up front, both share similar fenders, though adjustments have been made for the varying headlight designs.
That's good news if you just can't imagine life without the Saturn Outlook.

GM planning to put its fullsize pickups on a big diet, too

Fri, 19 Jul 2013

General Motors is just coming off a complete redesign of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra for 2014, but in the US fullsize truck market, there is no rest for the weary. According to Reuters, plans are already unfurling for both trucks to drop pounds from their curb weight over the next few years, but this will unlikely be able to keep pace with the 700-pound diet targeted for the next-generation Ford F-150, a truck expected to debut late next year.
The biggest weight reduction for these trucks might not be available until the next full redesign, which will likely happen around 2019, but the article says that smaller updates could shave pounds in the meantime. Two examples given include an "aluminum-intensive" version of the Silverado that could shed 250 pounds and debut around the same time as the lighter-weight, aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford, and there is also talk of reducing weight for driveline components such as axles and driveshafts. These changes are all part of an attempt to meet strict new fuel economy standards coming in 2017, targets which will get even tougher in 2025.

Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.
