I'm helping a friend sell his beautiful 2008 GMC 2500 HD. This is an original one owner truck that has never been abused. The original sticker was over 36k new. I have the window sticker. The truck is the desirable Stealth Gray Metallic with Dark Titanium interior. It is a 6 speed automatic. It comes with a Minute Mount Storm Guard Heavy Duty 8' plow set up. This truck was only used to plow the homeowners property. It was never used commerically. It has always been well maintained. All fluids and any repairs were done at a local professional garage. It just received four new Firestone tires. This truck is fully loaded and everything works as it should. The bed is line-x from the factor. It also has factory electric brakes for towing. This is a well kept truck and is very clean with only 74,929 miles on it. The mileage will change as the truck is being driven locally everyday. It comes with a clean clear title in hand. GM to sell rebranded Peugeot vans in US?
Wed, 10 Jul 2013According to a report by France's La Tribune cited by Reuters, General Motors and Peugeot are discussing the possibility of selling PSA Peugeot-Citroën commercial vans in the US through The General's dealership network. While specific models and what brand they may sell under stateside are not immediately clear, the move isn't entirely out of the blue, particularly since GM owns seven percent of the French automaker.
Peugeot and GM already have a joint-venture agreement to ease costs associated with vehicle development and procuring parts, and while the progress of the arrangement has been inhibited some by Europe's difficult economy, the two automakers are looking to expand the relationship. With sales in the dumpster, Peugeot's long-term prospects have looked particularly shaky as of late, and GM could use a modern commercial van lineup to better compete with North America's suddenly modern and Euro-fied competition. Mercedes-Benz kicked off the high-roof trend with its Sprinter, and for 2014, Ford is following with its Transit van (joining its smaller Transit Connect sibling), while Chrysler is leveraging its relationship with Fiat to rebrand the Ducato range of vans as Ram Promaster models.
Peugeot already has a full line of commercial van solutions in its stable, from its compact Partner and Bipper models to the larger Expert and Boxer models, which are available in a variety of cargo and people-carrying configurations.
GM issues stop-delivery for 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon
Fri, 03 Oct 2014General Motors is issuing a stop-delivery order for its latest midsize pickups, the 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, because the driver's side airbag might not be wired correctly. The total number of vehicles affected is still being determined.
According to the statement from GM, the problem, "affects the vehicles' two-stage airbag system by reversing the deployment sequence and disrupting the deployment timing of the driver airbag stages." That means in an accident the bag may not work correctly.
Most of the affected trucks are still on the assembly line, in transit or unsold at dealers, says GM. Until a way to repair the problem is found, customer deliveries are stopped. However, "a small number" of them are in the possession of buyers. GM is contacting these people by phone and by FedEx letter to have the vehicles returned to dealers. In the meantime, they'll be given a loaner to drive.
