2006 GMC Sierra, 2500 HD, Towing Package, and loaded with every option available. A great work truck with lots of power, runs great. Was a Texas Truck that I bought several months ago to haul my Tractor to and from the farm. It has had all the fluids changed and a new cerpentine belt installed. The tires, the vent visors, hood shield, running boards, rear lights under the tailgate, and batteries (2) are all new. It has factory wheels with the chrome center caps with 8 lug wheels. It has a dual heated seats with memory settings, factory power sunroof, on-star, factory overhead console, factory center seat console, tinted glass, sliding rear window, Ziebart spray in bed liner and a alumunim tool box. It does have a couple of scratches and little door dings but NO RUST anywhere. The body panels are factory but not perfect and its never been wrecked or abused. It has a 7 pin and a 4 pin wiring harness for towing. As you can see in the pictures its a good looking truck. Factory Victory red with the tan real leather interior. The drivers seat is perfect along with the rest of the interior, no tears, stains or smells. I'm a non smoker and this truck is about as good as it gets for a 9 year old truck. The miles are average for a diesel and the Allison Transmission is strong, has the select shift which allows you to choose what gear you want to be in or just put it in Drive and go. I had this truck here on Ebay about 1 month ago and sold it locally but the guy wanted to make payments but I need the cash up front. I cannot allow it to leave my driveway until all funds are cleared your bank, no exceptions. It is for sale locally and on Craigslist so it may be ended early, I reserve that right. I will not ship anywhere outside the USA and shipping is the sole responsibility of the buyer. If you want to fly into the local airport, i'll pick you up in it and you can drive it home. I will report non paying bidders to Ebay if you don't complete the transaction, Bid to buy. Don't come to kick the tires after you win it, ask questions before, I'll answer all questions as they are asked, usually within 2 or 3 hours after your post them. KBB for this truck is $18,400.00 when I last ran the numbers, the reserve is much lower but it will vary with your zip code. Remember it is a used truck and you will get just that, if you want a new one, I'm sure there are better ones for sale for more money. Also, your great truck thoughts and my great truck thoughts are going to be different, if you want to know something specific, just ask.

GM delays 3.0-liter Duramax diesel in Silverado and Sierra pickups
Thu, May 23 2019Stricter testing protocols around the world are making it harder for automakers to predict launch timelines. GM is the latest to get caught in emissions nettles, the Detroit carmaker forced to delay the launch of its new Duramax 3.0-liter inline-six diesel for the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. That's what company reps told dealers in a memo seen by Automotive News this week. Dealers and buyers had been promised the Flint, Mich.-built oil-burner in early 2019, but AN wrote that the EPA certification hiccup has turned into a "slight delay." A GM spokesman told Motor1, "[We] did not attribute [the delay] to a single entity, as the truth is this is a collaborative effort between GM and several government entities. We will make the 2020MY Duramax available for dealers orders soon, and expect to deliver the first trucks to customers soon after emissions testing is complete." We know the new 3.0-liter Duramax diesel has 277 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, outdoing Ford's 3.0-liter PowerStroke diesel by 27 hp and 20 lb-ft. But without final EPA paperwork, GM can't release the numbers that will show how the two engines stack up when considering fuel economy and tow ratings. The certification process has been sticky for a few other makers of late, especially since the Volkswagen Group situation in 2015. BMW had to delay the launch of four diesel models in 2016 over EPA testing. The new Ram 1500 dribbled out in a trickle last year for reasons thought to deal with EPA testing, coming as it did a year after the EPA investigated Ram's EcoDiesel engines in 2017 and 2018. More recently, WLTP testing in Europe caught out just about every automaker over there. Since we're almost halfway through 2019, the delay until the 2020 model year is only a few months. Still, GM told dealers to cancel any orders for the engine for this model year. Dealers will need to resubmit the orders once opening begins, but GM hasn't said when production will begin other than "soon." The company said that it will offer 2020-model-year replacement vehicles to customers and dealers. If prices hold into the next model year, the 2020 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500 with the inline-six diesel will come at a $3,890 premium over the 2.7-liter turbo four-cylinder, and a $2,495 premium over the 5.3-liter V8.

GM is the latest automaker accused of diesel emissions cheating
Thu, May 25 2017Volkswagen and Ram need to make room on the diesel-emissions bench for General Motors. America's largest automaker was accused in a lawsuit on Thursday of rigging hundreds of thousands of diesel trucks with at least three so-called defeat devices to ensure that the trucks would meet federal and state emission standards, even if they generated more pollution in real-world driving. According to the complaint, on-road emissions testing conducted for the plaintiffs found that Duramax-equipped trucks produced NOx pollutants, comprised of nitrogen and oxygen atoms, two to five times higher than legally permitted, and "many times" higher than their gasoline counterparts. The proposed class-action lawsuit was filed in federal court in Detroit on behalf of people who own or lease more than 705,000 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra pickup trucks fitted with "Duramax" engines from 2011 to 2016 model years. The lawsuit seeks remedies including possible refunds or restitution for lost vehicle value, plus punitive damages. It adds to legal problems for Detroit-based GM, which has already paid about $2.5 billion in penalties and settlements over faulty ignition switches linked to 124 deaths. GM joins at least five automakers whose diesel emissions have been scrutinized by regulators or consumers. They include VW, which has admitted to cheating; Mercedes-Benz parent Daimler; Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Peugeot and Renault. GM spokesman Dan Flores called the claims "baseless," and said the trucks comply with US Environmental Protection Agency emissions standards and California's own tough standards. Shares of GM were down 69 cents, or 2.1 percent, at $32.50 in afternoon trading, after earlier falling to $31.93. The GM lawsuit was filed by several law firms, including Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro, which helped reach multibillion-dollar settlements with VW on behalf of drivers and dealers. The case is Fenner et al v General Motors LLC et al, US District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, No. 17-11661. The named plaintiffs are Andrei Fenner of Mountain View, California and Joshua Herman of Sulphur, Louisiana. They said they would not have bought their respective 2011 Sierra and 2016 Silverado trucks, or would have paid less for them, had they known about the alleged rigging. Joseph Spak, an RBC Capital Markets analyst, in a research report said "negative publicity" from the lawsuit could drive buyers to trucks from Ford or even Fiat Chrysler's Ram.
