Since eBay more than doubled the selling fees for dealers, we now only list a few trucks a month. We specialize in 4X4 trucks, Crew Cabs, Diesels, SUVs, Oil/Gas Fleet/Utility/Flat Bed Trucks, Jeeps and AWD Cars. Ebay's new ad policy will not allow us to list our online location but we are very easy to find.

Stock number 4278

This truck has been my daily driver for the past couple weeks, it's a good truck and will not disappoint you. This is a super nice GMC, crew cab, SLE 2500, has low miles, 6.0 Vortec V8, power everything, brand new mud tires, a brand new windshield, tint, alloys, ice cold AC and more. This truck was privately owned, was used to haul an overhead camper. Normally I would retail this rig on my lot and never offer it here but the one down side to this truck here in the Durango area is that it is 2WD, I cannot give away a 2WD truck in the high Colorado mountains. If you're down south or out of state where you dont need 4WD or you're only using a rig like this in the dry months, then this might be a great deal. This truck has a KBB retail value of $17000, make me a cash offer and I'll discount the price big time!!!

Though in excellent condition, this a used 9 year truck, as you would expect, there are some minor cosmetic imperfections. Although this truck presents very well, it looks great, there are some very small scratches here and there as you would find in this part of the country (see pics)  There is a very small hole on the right side of the rear seat (see pics) There is a broken piece of plastic seat trim on the side of the driver's seat, a common GM issue and cheap to replace (see pics) This truck has been professionally detailed, the seats are super clean but the carpet is still a little "dingy" in places. The tires are brand new studded mud terrains, a little rough riding but new none the less. There is a check engine light that comes and goes, is currently on, my computer says it is lean bank, lean air conditions or mass air sensor a common issue here at high altitude caused by the thin air, drives us crazy but theres nothing we do about it short of driving down to flat land. Aside from the list above and normal used 4X4 truck "wear and tear" stuff, this is a very tight, great running, rust free GMC and it will make someone very happy to own it. Please read above and examine the pictures closely, I am happy to photograph and email pictures of anything you would like to take a better look at.

Call me at 970 259 8170 or my cell 602 435 2110. Jim

2015 Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra can tow up to 12,000 pounds

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Think back to the launch of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. At the time, General Motors happily trumpeted that its fullsize pickup could tow up to 11,500 pounds when properly equipped - impressive stuff, no doubt. But now, revised tow rating practices have been put into place, called SAE J2807. And with these new methods of testing, GM can now officially rate both the Silverado and its GMC Sierra twin as being able to tow up to 12,000 pounds.
Of course, not all Silverado and Sierra models are capable of this feat. In fact, because of SAE J2807, most of the truck models have actually had decreases in tow ratings from the 2014 to 2015 model year. For example, a 2014 Silverado Crew Cab with the 5.3-liter V8, 5.7-foot box and 3.73 rear axle was rated at 11,200 pounds in 2014, but has since been reduced to 10,800 in 2015. Same goes for the Sierra.
But for 2015, both the Silverado and Sierra can be had with a more powerful 6.2-liter V8, as well as a Max Trailering Package that includes a 9.76-inch rear axle, heavy-duty rear springs, revised shock tuning, improved cooling and a new trailer brake controller. There are also four- and seven-pin, bumper-mounted connectors, a trailer hitch (duh), and a G80 locking rear differential. This configuration, with either model, is the only way you can actually tow 12,000 pounds.

GM opens military discount to 21M veterans and their spouses

Thu, Apr 7 2016

May marks the start of National Military Appreciation Month, and General Motors is getting into the spirit by expanding its military discount program to, well, just about everyone. That includes a total of 21 million military veterans and their spouses, along with the current slate of active duty, reserve, and National Guard members. The discount can slash thousands of dollars off the price of a new Buick, Chevrolet, or GMC vehicles, with Automotive News listing an $1,100 discount on the top gas-powered version of the Malibu, the Premiere. Those that want a bit more spice can get $1,700 off the price of a last-generation 2015 Camaro SS, while truck buyers will enjoy $3,000 off the Chevy Silverado All Star. That's just a start, though, since the military discount can be paired with other GM incentives. The discount doesn't apply to everything, though. Some are understandable – none of Cadillac's vehicles are included in the deal, nor is the Corvette Z06. You'll also be unable to apply the discount to a range of base-level trims, like the Chevy Cruze or Equinox L, the base Colorado, or the entry level GMC Acadia, Canyon, and Terrain. A full list is available at GM's dedicated military discount website. GM's expanded discount plan runs from today through May 31. Son surprises his dad by restoring his 1949 pickup for Christmas

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Norman Meal, an 83-year-old retired farmer from Rushville, IN, nearly missed his big Christmas gift when his son, Kyle, first presented it to him. Norman was oblivious and was looking all over the garage floor until Kyle pointed out a satin black pickup with a bow on it parked inside. This wasn't just another case of a child buying a parent a dream vehicle; the '49 GMC sitting there was Norman's very first truck that was restored and ready to drive. According to Fox 59 WXIN, Norman's father purchased the GMC in 1949, and Norman bought it from him in the mid '50s to use on the farm. However, for about the past 13 years, the truck had been rotting away in the garage of one of Kyle's friends. As a perfect gift to his dad, Kyle took the pickup to a restoration shop to make the old vehicle roadworthy again. Practically everything was replaced – except for the horn. Thankfully, Kyle filmed his dad's reaction to getting the GMC. Check it out and watch them take a drive in the heartwarming video above.
