I purchased this vehicle about 3 years ago with 187,000 miles on it. It has been a good vehicle for us. We have used it as just an all around pickup hauling motorcycles to races, pulling boats to the lake, pulling the 30' camper on trips of more than 800 miles. It has performed flawlessly. When I purchased it, I took it to my local mechanic and had him give it what ever it needed. I have put brakes on it new shocks new apark plugs and wires, relocated the fuel air filter from by the gas tank filler to under the hood. The seat was starting to tear where you slide across to get in and out and I repaired that as well. It is clean inside and out and needs nothing except possibly tires. The tires were the ones that were on it when I bought it. I had put on new tires and wheels and I used those. I have removed those because some people don't like them and have put on the original wheels and tires as shown in the photo. All in all it's a good truck. It has had a fifth wheel plate in it at some point but I have never had one in it. It has mostly highway miles on it, the hour meeter says like 5800 hours on it. There is some information on here that states that there is some damage history. There is nothing on the title, and I purchased it that way so there isn't any issue with that. There is a clean and clear title. I own it free and clear. If you would like more photos just email me and I will get them to you or if you want a specific photo just let me know I can take the shot and email it to you or send it via text. Come and drive it take it to your mechanic and have him/her check it out. There are a lot of mile on it but it doesn't show inside or out that it has that many miles. runs great! drives great! call with any questions or to look at it. 605-759-8391 cell. Thanks for looking!

GM appears to repurpose Saturn Outlook parts on new Acadia
Thu, 09 Feb 2012General Motors unveiled the company's refreshed GMC Acadia at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show yesterday, and if you were paying attention, you may have noticed something curious about the vehicle. While the new Acadia looks considerably better than its predecessor, a few components of the design looked more than a little familiar. Upon closer observation, it appears that GM has simply repurposed elements of the now defunct Saturn Outlook crossover on the 2013 Acadia. Both vehicles seem to share the same wrap-around rear glass, back hatch, tail light openings and exaggerated, squared-off fender arches.
While the vehicles are differentiated by badging, tail lamps and a rear valance, there's no denying the similarities toward the vehicle's rear. Up front, both share similar fenders, though adjustments have been made for the varying headlight designs.
That's good news if you just can't imagine life without the Saturn Outlook.
NHTSA upgrades probe into 1.7 million GM vehicles over wiper failures
Tue, Dec 17 2019WASHINGTON — The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said Tuesday it is upgrading an investigation into 1.7 million General Motors vehicles for windshield wiper failures. The auto safety agency opened the probe in November 2018 to see if GM needed to expand a 2016 recall of 2013 model year Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain SUVs to cover additional vehicles. The engineering analysis probe covers 2010-2012 and 2014-2016 Equinox and Terrain vehicles. NHTSA could demand a recall after it completes the probe. NHTSA said it has reviewed 1,900 complaints and reports related to the issue in the 1.7 million vehicles. NHTSA said it has seen elevated failure rates in the 1.7 million vehicles, even though GM said the recalled vehicles have "double the warranty rate and five times the complaint rate." GM said it will "fully cooperate to support their investigation. We do not believe these windshield washer systems are defective." The wiper failures that prompted the 2016 recall were attributed to water and debris intrusion into the windshield wiper assembly ball joints, leading to excessive wear and eventual detachment of the ball joint. GM said it was installing an improved windshield wiper motor and transmission assembly and relocating a drain hole at the base of the windshield. Related Video:
GM will compensate SUV owners for fuel-economy error [UPDATE]
Mon, May 23 2016General Motors will offer debit cards to owners of some of its crossover SUVs after it was discovered that GM overstated the vehicles' fuel economy on window stickers, Automotive News says. GM will offer reimbursements to about 135,000 customers that are worth between $450 and $1,500 each. Some owners will also have the option of being provided with an extended warranty free of charge instead of the debit card. GM overstated fuel economy on about 170,000 vehicles by one to two miles per gallon because of what it has said was an inadvertent error stemming from not factoring the impact of emissions-related hardware into the EPA window-sticker figures. As a result, GM put a temporary stop-sale on the Chevy Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Buick Enclave before switching out the window stickers on about 60,000 vehicles. Automotive News says letters and debit cards will be sent out next week, and Reuters is estimating that the reimbursement program will cost GM about $100 million. With automakers ranging from Hyundai/Kia to Ford to, more recently, Volkswagen and Mitsubishi being ensnared by emissions or fuel-economy-rating issues, GM is working quickly to address the problem. For those curious, the reimbursement totals, factoring in current gas prices, the SUVs' combined fuel economy, and typical driving of about 12,000 miles a year, will provide between three and 12 months worth of free gas for those drivers (the models get either 17 or 18 miles per gallon combined, depending on front- or four-wheel-drive configuration). While about 135,000 customers will be reimbursed, Automotive News says the fleet buyers of about 35,000 crossovers haven't been addressed yet. UPDATE: GM spokesman James Cain, in an e-mail to Autoblog on Sunday, confirmed that the company will reimburse about 135,000 customers. Purchase customers will be given the option of a pre-paid debit card or a 48-month/60,000-mile protection plan, while lease customers will be offered the pre-paid debit cards. Most of the cards will have a value of between $450 and $900 on them. "We want all of our customers to have a great ownership experience, so we designed this reimbursement program to provide full and fair compensation in a simple, flexible, and timely manner," he wrote.
