I purchased this vehicle two 1/2 months before I knew I was retiring. This vehicle was purchased new on 30 Aug. 2009 and has been garaged for the past 4 years it was driven approximately 2700 miles in the first (Sept-Nov) year. This vehicle has never seen rain or snow. The chassis and drive train component pictures will confirm this. I reside in Florida from November to April so the vehicle sat covered in my garage during the winter months.
I will include with this purchase a 5-Part Division folder with all the paperwork from the day of purchase, additional paperwork for accessories, maintenance records and one recall notice. The window sticker MSRP was $39,335.00. This price does not include the GMC bed liner and GMC Back-up camera system. The Century cap cost was $1725.00. The sides and inside roof of the cap is lined with sound proofing material from the factory, sliding side windows and a removal front sliding window.
All maintenance and recall (1) notices are up to date. I use Royal Purple Synthetic oil in the engine. The oil and filter are changed every 5000 miles.I traded-in the OEM Bridgestone tires at 6,261 miles and purchased Michelin LTX M/S2 tires for better gas mileage, handling and ride quality. I also installed a K&N Air Induction System to improve drivability and gas mileage. My best mileage has been 20.4 mpg. The window sticker lists 11-17 city and 15-23 highway. The OEM air induction system parts are included in sale of vehicle and can be reinstalled. A Massachusetts RMV Title is on the premises. Reason for sale, moving to Florida. Please email me for any additional question.
Thank You for looking.

2013 GMC Acadia priced from $34,875*
Wed, 12 Sep 2012For those who are interested in the reworked 2013 GMC Acadia, we now know how much you can look forward to forking over. Base MSRP for the 2013 version of the full-size, three-row crossover has been set at $34,875 (*not including a $825 destination charge). If you are interested in the range-topping Denali trim, be prepared to pay $46,770.
The 2013 Acadia will come standard with a backup camera, leather-wrapped steering wheel, USB port and recycled visuals from the now-dead Saturn Outlook.
Upping to the Denali trim gets you a head-up display, blind spot monitoring system and GMC's new Rear Cross Traffic Alert system. According to GMC, most trims will also receive IntelliLink connectivity as standard equipment. The Acadia will also get the industry's first front-center airbag, an innovation it shares with other Lambda-based crossovers like the refreshed 2013 Buick Enclave. The idea behind the new tube-shaped airbag is that it can provide a buffer between driver and front seat passenger in the event of an impact, or better hold the driver in place if he or she is alone.
2015 GMC Yukon Denali
Tue, 25 Mar 2014Automotive enthusiasts often wonder aloud - ourselves included - why General Motors would choose to keep GMC while sending Pontiac (and Saturn, and even Oldsmobile before it) into the great automotive graveyard in the sky. The answer, as is so often the case, is profit. It's much easier for GM to rake in money hand over fist by rejiggering the trucks, crossovers and SUVs that it would already be developing for Chevrolet and making them a bit more luxurious and *ahem* "Professional Grade" with new grilles, badges and unique packaging for GMC.
While it may sound like we're being cynical, we totally approve of GM's fullsize SUV strategy. The least-expensive way to get into the fold is with the Chevrolet Tahoe, which starts at $45,595 with a 5.3-liter V8 engine and a cloth interior. Bumping that same Chevy to LTZ trim and its $59,995 sticker price lands a much nicer leather-clad interior and more techno-bells and whistles than you can shake a stick at. But it still looks like a Tahoe, and it still comes with the smaller 5.3-liter engine. Or, you could do what we'd do: Walk into your GMC dealer and take a look at the Yukon Denali. Here's why.

GM recall woes continue with 662,000 pickups trucks and Cruze sedans
Sat, 29 Mar 2014General Motors can't seem to get its name out of the "bad news" column. Two more recalls were announced late Friday evening that will see The General calling in 490,200 fullsize pickup trucks and SUVs, along with 172,000 Chevrolet Cruze models.
For those keeping track, General Motors has issued recalls for an alarming 4.8 million vehicles so far since last month.
The Chevy Silverado 1500, Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Sierra 1500 and Yukon models from the 2014 and 2015 model years are being recalled for a flaw in their transmissions wherein loose oil cooler lines may cause a fire. The automaker said in a statement (see below) that it knows of three incidents of loose transmission lines causing problems, but no injuries. We can't confirm whether it was this transmission issue that caused the widely publicized blaze that consumed a 2015 GMC Yukon that was being test driven in California.
