2002 Gmc Sierra 4wd Extended Cab Slt Nice Truck! on 2040-cars
Branson, Missouri, United States
I have owned this truck for about a year and a half and I just simply don't use it, so here it is. This is a great truck, everything operates and functions just like it is supposed to. The person who owned it prior to me did most of the aftermarket add-ons such as hood, color match front bumper, added exterior cab lights, lifted, one-off wheels, tinted rear taillight and cab lights, halogen lights hidden in grill, xenon blue headlights, grill, suspension with neoprene, exhaust, bed cover, window tint and covers, white color-matched dash and speaker treatments, chrome door handles, Kenwood in-dash aftermarket stereo and speakers including sub-woofer and sub-woofer adjuster next to driver seat, remote start and alarm system, super-chips tuner for optimum performance and fuel economy, and under dash and under seat lights controlled by toggle switch. The truck is equipped with power windows and locks and seats, seat warmer, tilt, cruise control, compass and temperature reading in rear view mirror. The air-conditioner and heater all operate as it should. all electronics operate as they should. Leather seats in rear are in excellent condition, passenger seat is in good condition showing slight wear along with drivers seat showing light wear with a small tear where the butt drags getting in and out. Headliner, dash and floorboard etc. are all in great shape. Truck rides and drives smooth and comfortable. There is a small patch on the roof by the cab lights that paint has peeled and is showing the gray primer. Also, underneath the passenger side extended cab door on the rocker there is some rust starting to show. Over all it's just a nice truck, current mileage is 165,000 and some change. I have had my GMC dealer service it and have put a new battery in it in my time of owning it. The brake pedal feels a little spongy compared to my newer company truck but it was that way when I bought it and has never been an issue so I don't know if the master cylinder is weak or if the might need to be bled or what. It was not an issue for me, just thought I would mention for full disclosure. Bid with confidence, this is a solid truck and I have a great feedback record. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the truck is for sale locally as well. I have the title in hand, however there is a lien on the truck at my local bank that will be satisfied at the time that your funds clear, a lien release will be provided at that time. Thanks for looking and Good Luck! |

Weekly Recap: Lamborghini fires on all cylinders
Sat, Jan 31 2015Lamborghini added 192 technicians and specialists in 2014 as the Italian automaker expands under the ambitious growth strategy of parent company Volkswagen AG. The additional workers helped Lamborghini increase its sales 19 percent last year to 2,530 supercars, and further expansion is planned for this year. Lambo has added more than 500 people in the last four years, bringing its headcount to 1,175. "Lamborghini is undergoing a strong phase of growth in both sales and in terms of recruitment," CEO Stephan Winkelmann said in a statement. "We invest significantly in our people ... in 2015 we plan to hire further." The supercar maker's solid performance last year came during a time of transition. Lambo sold off the final 265 Gallardos, which were the brand's best-selling models ever. Its 10-cylinder successor, the Huracan, immediately filled the void. It garnered 3,300 orders, and 1,137 of them were delivered in 2014. The other Lamborghini, the 12-cylinder Aventador, saw its sales increase 13 percent to 1,128 copies. The sales leap comes as Volkswagen drives sales expansion across its portfolio of brands. The German carmaker sold 10 million vehicles around the world for the first time last year. Though Lambo will never make supercars in great numbers, it is expected to contribute to VW's bottom line through its image and profitable sales. Look for further growth this year, and a Super Veloce version (shown above) of the Aventador has already been spotted during testing. Lamborghini has been working on a sport utility vehicle for years, though the company has never publicly approved the project. It also showed a hybrid, the Asterion, at last year's Paris Motor show, suggesting the automaker is considering an electric future. Other News and Notes GMC ponders Jeep Wrangler fighter GMC is considering adding a competitor to the Jeep Wrangler and has discussed the idea with its dealers, according to the Wall Street Journal. Details of the vehicle are unclear, but the report suggested the vehicle could have cues from General Motors' old Hummer brand. The move would broaden GMC's lineup of trucks and SUVs and attract new customers. GMC sold 501,853 vehicles in 2014, making it GM's second-best selling brand. GMC had more volume than Cadillac and Buick combined, though it's still well behind Chevrolet's tally of more than two million vehicles. The notion of a "Wrangler fighter" could be a moving target.
Hummer EV to be sold at only about half of GMC dealerships
Mon, Oct 26 2020The new 1,000-horsepower Hummer EV will be sold under the GMC brand, but you won't find it in every GMC showroom. Currently, just about half of GMC's dealers have agreed to take on the electric truck, Buick GMC VP Duncan Aldred told investors on a conference call last week. According to Muscle Cars and Trucks, there are a number of reasons for the irregular availability. For one, there's the cost of upgrading dealerships to sell and service a fully electric vehicle. Stores would need to be upgraded with charging stations, and service centers would require new tools and training to work on an EV. Then there's the customer experience. At $112,595, the initial Hummer EV Edition 1 caters to a different clientele than the traditional GMC truck. The planned EV3X trim level that arrives in late 2022 and EV2X arriving in spring 2023 will start at just below $100,000 and $90,000, respectively. Some sellers believe that customers paying six figures for a vehicle will expect certain niceties that will necessitate showroom upgrades as well. Complimentary doughnuts, at least. Furthermore, not all GMC dealerships are located in areas with customers willing to shell out that much cabbage for a new vehicle, especially an EV. An $80,000 base trim will be available in 2024, so perhaps more dealers will be willing to take on the truck by then. Finally, there's the Hummer EV's no-haggle pricing. Aldred was adamant on the call that customers see the same price on the internet as they do on the paperwork. It's part of the premium dealership experience that GMC wants to provide for its well-heeled clientele. Still, GMC appears to have no problem moving all the Hummer EVs it can build. Even with its lofty price tag, all Edition 1 trucks were sold out 10 minutes after GMC's announcement. Related Video:
GM 6.2L EcoTec V8 rated at 21 mpg by the EPA
Wed, 02 Oct 2013General Motors is already laying claim to best-in-class power for its new 6.2-liter V8 that will be offered in the 2014 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra this fall, and now it has released fuel economy numbers for the big engine. Available as an option on the Silverado LTZ and High Country (shown above) models as well as the the Sierra SLT and Denali trims, the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 will return 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 mpg on the highway on rear-wheel-drive trucks; these numbers drop by one mpg each on four-wheel-drive models.
These estimates are in addition to the engine's 420 horsepower, 460 pound-feet of torque and max trailering capacity of 12,000 pounds, and considering all that power it's not terribly far away from the fuel economy of GM's equally new 4.3-liter V6 and its rating of 18 mpg city and 24 mpg highway. This announcement comes just days after a report indicated that GM is unable to keep up with the demand of the 5.3-liter V8 in the fullsize Chevy and GMC trucks due to supplier issues. GM's official press release for the 6.2-liter V8's fuel economy is posted below.
