I am selling my 2000 GMC Sierra. I'm the second owner of the truck, i brought it home in 2001 after it came off a one year lease with 29000 thousand miles. the truck is still in very good shape, i use it, but i maintain it. There has never been a cigaret lit in this truck! I'm a master mechanic by trade and I love this truck. the engine oil is changed every 3000 miles, I know thats not nessasary, but i call it cheep insurance. the rear end fluid is changed once a year and i flush and change the the trans fluid and filter every year as well. I just put new u-joints in the drive shaft this spring, that seems to be a yearly thing also. I replaced the rockers and cab corners about six years ago. i used LMC truck* metals wich are about three times thicker then the stock steel. This spring there is now some surface rust showing on the rockers again and a rust blister appeared on the fuel door. other then that she looks pretty good cosmetically. it comes with a 240 amp Pentex, externaly regulated alternator. complete Pioneer sound system, Head unit, front door component speakers with under the dash amps, Two 1100 watt pioneer amps mounted behind the rear seat, custom fit box and two Pioneer dual voice coil 10" speakers. the truck has an onboard air compressor for the intergated rear air bags over the springs wich is all contoled in cab and a spare new air bag behind the rear seat. Trailer brake system and CB radio are all included. Selling this truck is a hard decion, but i found a sweet deal on a deisal and so i guess it is time to move one, exspecaly with all the towing i do. Thank You so much.

GM says its electric pickup truck is 'in development'
Thu, Jun 6 2019GM President Mark Reuss just reiterated the company's support for an electric pickup project. He also claimed that GM is going to be selling its future electric cars at "very average transaction prices" during the same conference with Wall Street analysts. Previously, Mary Barra informed the world of GM's electric pickup truck aspirations, but didn't tell us anything else. Reuss says the truck is already in development, though, according to a Wards Auto report. "We will have a complete electric lineup, including a pickup truck that's in development," Reuss said. This comment marks the second time GM has gone on the record about its intentions to bring an electric pickup to market. Additionally, Reuss said GM's third-generation global EV platform will be used to help develop the electric pickup. This platform was recently announced to underpin at least 20 new EVs from GM in the future — the platform itself is slated to be unveiled in 2021. Of course, this platform will be flexible and modular to allow various body styles to be used with it, a truck being one of those. Reuss still hasn't said what GM brand the pickup will be sold under, or what class of truck it will be. GM thinks this new platform is also going to be what helps it drive down the cost of building EVs. "We'll reach parity a lot sooner than people think," Reuss said comparing EVs to traditional gas-powered engines. "We're driving down the cost of batteries and the whole EV in general." As for electric pickups, Ford is also deep in development of its own electric F-150. However, neither of these truck projects have official timelines on them, so we can't say when they'll hit the market. For now, the cross-town rivals are both in development with their respective electric pickups. Even further across town is Rivian (in which Ford just invested half a billion dollars), a company that says its electric R1T pickup is right around the corner, with the official due date being end of 2020 for the time being. 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 pickup teased on Twitter
Mon, Feb 26 2018GM's half-ton pickup line will be fully rounded up later this week when the new GMC Sierra 1500 is revealed. Though the unveiling is on March 1, GMC has provided a teaser of the new truck ahead of time on Twitter. It shows only the front fascia, but considering the Sierra's history of simply being a badge-engineered Silverado, it's arguably the most important angle of the truck. The teaser confirms a few things we were expecting based on past spy shots. The headlights look much more conventional than the Silverado's rather small units. The Sierra's grille, unlike the Silverado's, will also rise above the tops of the headlights, providing more of a big-rig appearance. We also finally get to see the GMC badge on the front of the Sierra, and it looks like it's an enormous rendition. As for the rest of the truck, previous spy shots have shown the Sierra will have other subtle styling changes from the Silverado. The wheel wells are shaped differently, and the taillights will be unique to the GMC. The interior of the new Sierra will look almost identical to that of the Silverado, with the exception of a few minor trim details. We also expect the Sierra to use the same engine lineup as the Chevy's, which at this point we know will consist of a 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel inline-six, and naturally aspirated 5.3- and 6.2-liter V8s.
