Thank you for looking at my 09 GMC 4X4. I bought this truck new and it has always been well cared for, synthetic oil change since new every 3,000 miles, premium gas since new, always garaged, always waxed and kept clean. This truck is my baby. It is ready to turn over to 50,000 miles. Brand new tires around 40,000 miles. Interior is really clean. The back seat was barely used. I kept blankets on the rear floor. This truck is loaded with options....power moonroof, front power heated seats, power folding mirrors, dual climate control, rear view camera and sensors, etc etc !

Last year i took it to Lingenfelter to have their supercharger kit installed at a cost of $10,000. They installed it then dyno tuned it. It put down 425HP and close to 450 torque to the wheels. Thats pretty respectable for a truck. This truck is somewhat rare because it has the optional 6.2 in a half ton rated at 403HP at the crank. I have had no problems with this truck whatsoever. The only reason its for sale is because i needed a heavier truck to pull my enclosed car trailer. This truck has more than enough power but is not physically heavy enough to keep the trailer from swaying during a windy day. So i bought a new 2500 diesel.

I also wetsanded and buffed this truck last year. If you know these trucks their paint jobs have terrible orange peel. So the paint is really slick now. I also removed the factory emblems and installed SS and LIngenfelter emblems.

This is one of a kind truck. I get compliments all the time about how pretty it is. I am gonna miss it but i just cant keep two trucks.

There are a few blemishes. There are two dents above each taillight caused by a family member who borrowed it when it was only two weeks old. I just couldn't talk myself into painting a brand new truck and i have learned to live with it. The other small issue is the bottom of all doors are showing surface rust on the inside. If you know these trucks, they all do this as well as the suburbans and yukons. This is an easy fix but i just haven't done it yet. I planned on fixing it before winter. I since removed the plastic weatherstripping because that is what was holding debri and causing it to deteriorate. I immediately removed them from my new truck. There are also a few chips here and there that can be expected with any used vehicle. I touched those up whenever i waxed the truck. The wheels are also showing signs of deterioration which is sadly a common problem.

Please let me know if you have any questions and i would be more than happy to answer asap.

Truck is for sale locally and i reserve the right to end the sale early. The truck has a free and clear title and i will not release either the truck or title until all funds have cleared. Shipping is the responsiblity of the buyer. Cash or Certified Bank check. $1000 deposit from winning bidder within 48 hours of end of auction with Paypal

Take care and thank you for considering my truck.

GMC Hummer EV infotainment built with Unreal Engine used by 'Fortnite' and 'Rocket League'

Wed, Oct 7 2020

We're only a couple weeks away from the reveal of the GMC Hummer EV truck and SUV. And we're expecting a lot of boasting about impressive capability and unique features. What we weren't expecting was for its infotainment system to be built on a video game engine. That's the news that has come out of Epic Games, creators of Unreal Engine, the basis of the Hummer's infotainment system. If you've been an avid video gamer anytime in the last 20 years, Unreal Engine should be recognizable. The first version of it powered Epic's "Unreal" and "Unreal Tournament" games, and more recent versions power multiplayer hits such as Epic's "Fortnite" and Psyonix's "Rocket League." The engine has been licensed out to countless other game developers for titles by both indie developers and large game companies. But its use in the GMC Hummer will be the first time it has powered a production car's infotainment system. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Epic didn't say which version of Unreal Engine is being used in the Hummer. Presumably it's a version of Unreal Engine 4, since Unreal Engine 5 hasn't been released yet. Also, while Epic released a trailer announcing the partnership and showcasing Unreal's 3D rendering and menu developing tools, it doesn't give us a peak at what the infotainment and instruments of the Hummer will look like. The company does tout fast boot-up times, powerful graphics, and over-the-air updates as useful features included with Unreal. But for a clear look at the final product, we'll have to wait for the October 20 reveal. Related Video:

2019 GMC Sierra 1500 prototype shows off differences from Silverado

Fri, Feb 2 2018

Now that the new Silverado has made its debut, we're awaiting the reveal of its mildly restyled twin, the GMC Sierra 1500. While it likely won't be that different as far as capability and major equipment are concerned, we are looking forward to seeing what design changes it will have. Based on these recent spy shots, the changes will be mild, but still enough to make it visually distinctive. One of the more obvious differences will be in the front fascia treatment. Unlike the Silverado's grille that's level with the top of the headlights, the GMC's will rise above the lights, which will also yield a slight drop on each side of the hood to meet the lights. The grille is quite tall, extending far below the headlights, too. We can make out, behind some mesh, two dips on the outer edges of the grille that give the Sierra a more menacing frown. Large foglights are also found right near where the scoops for the wheel air curtains, and the headlights are unified on the edges, rather than split on the Silverado. Along the sides, the sheet metal looks relatively unchanged. At some angles, we can make out the distinctive shoulder line from the Silverado that runs up to about the rear mirrors where it stops to make room for another crease that rises up from somewhere in the middle of the front doors to lead to the front. The wheel arches are decidedly different from the Silverado's though. While the Silverado has fairly rounded arches, the Sierra's have a rear-slanted bevel to the fronts of the arches and a rounded 90-degree corner at the rears. There isn't much we can tell about the rear except for the taillights. They're quite large, and unlike the Silverado's, there aren't any areas where the sheet metal intrudes. It also appears that the tops of the taillights extend farther forward into the bed sides than the Chevy's. Because the Sierra has almost always been a mechanical twin of the Silverado, we expect it to offer the same 5.3-liter and 6.2-liter V8s, as well as the new 3.0-liter diesel inline-6. Also, being a GMC, it will likely have a flashy, chrome-laden Denali trim level. We also will see the fully revealed model soon, as Automotive News reports the debut will be on March 1. GM diesel pickups first to undergo extra EPA, CARB testing

Tue, Sep 29 2015

The effects of Volkswagen's long-running diesel emissions evasion are starting to spill over to other automakers, but General Motors is taking things in stride. The 2.8-liter, four-cylinder Duramax in the 2016 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon is the first engine to get extra scrutiny by the Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board, Automotive News reports. Rather than just the usual in-lab test, it's also being checked on the road. However, the extra evaluation shouldn't have any impact on when the trucks with his mill hit dealers later this fall. "We're in our final stages of the EPA certification, and our launch is on track," Chevy spokesperson Otie McKinley tells Autoblog. The four-cylinder diesel in the trucks makes 181 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque, and the automaker is touting low NOx production. In the announcement for the Colorado's specs, the company calls it "the cleanest diesel truck engine ever produced by General Motors." The tech includes exhaust gas recirculation to lower combustion temperatures and improve emissions. There's also a urea tank like on the bigger diesels for full-size trucks, and it gets refilled in time with oil changes. An indication on the instrument panel lets drivers know when that's needed, too. Even with the more demanding testing, the company doesn't seem too worried about the four-cylinder passing. "Part of our development process is on-road and off-road [laboratory] testing," Scott Yackley, Chevy Trucks assistant chief engineer, said to Automotive News. In the wake of the VW scandal, the EPA has pledged more rigorous testing. Before, on-road emissions evaluations were largely limited to heavy-duty vehicles, but the agency has decided to apply the checks more often to other models. There's also now greater cooperation with Canadian authorities.
