2003 Ford Windstar SE with VMI Handicap Conversion....Only 54K miles!!

Call me anytime with questions (309)-261-4340

Up for sale is an absolutely RUST FREE '03 Freestar minivan.  This van has the SE package with the 3.8L V6 and automatic transmission.  The van has all the power options including windows, rear vents, mirrors, locks, and windows.  Tape player, power driver seat, climate control, cold A/C in both front and rear, keyless entry, and much more.  The van has been very well taken care of and there are no odors, smells, pets, smoke or anything like that inside the van.

Call day or night (309)-261-4340

The van runs, drives, and shifts like new.  It practically is a new van with only 54K miles on it.  There are no mechanical issues with the van and everything works properly like it should.  No warning lights on the dash, no accidents or anything not right with the van.  The exterior is in great shape too with just very minimal wear.  All the tires are in very good shape.  Have records of an engine mount being replaced, rear hubs, rear brake shoes, and the door cables and motor were replaced on the sliding door.

These vans go fast!! (309)-261-4340

The Wheelchair ramp conversion was done by VMI.  This van has their top dollar conversion they call the Northstar.  It features a 10" lowered floor from the back bench seat all the way under the dash with tie down points throughout to tie down a chair in just about any configuration.  Both the driver seat and passenger seat can easily be removed to be replaced with a wheelchair.  The best part is the in floor ramp.  This slides very smoothly out automatically with the automatic door and kneeling option.  There is no rattle like the folding ramps on normal handicap vans.  This is my pick!  There are several locations to run the door and ramp both inside the van and outside including a handheld remote.

The driver seat swivels about 200 degrees around to slide into from a chair if needed.  It also has hand controls to be able to drive without using your feet.  The van can be driven the conventional way as well no problem.

Shipping is available, just call for a quote.  I can also pick you up from the Dallas/Fort Worth Airport anytime if you would like to fly in.

Thanks for looking

Patrick (309)-261-4340

Exceptionally rare '65 Ford GT40 Roadster prototype up for auction

Sat, 14 Jun 2014

Think of mid-engined supercars and your mind is bound to gravitate towards Europe, but the United States has been known to make a handful from time to time - exceptional vehicles from the likes of Vector, SSC, Mosler, Hennessey, and Saleen. But long before any of those came around, Ford famously became obsessed with beating Ferrari at its own game, leading to the development of the iconic GT40.
The story is well known, sending Ford to the checkered flag at Le Mans four times in a row in the late 1960s. Ford and Shelby also built over 100 for public consumption, but just four of them were roadsters. Of those only one remains in original condition, and now that exceedingly rare example going up for auction.
Consigned to RM Auctions for its mid-August sale during Pebble Beach weekend in Monterey, California, this 1965 model is the first GT40 Roadster built. It was used as a development and demonstration vehicle for Ford and Shelby. Carroll Shelby himself drove Henry Ford II in this very car during one of many test and demo events, this time held for Ford's board of directors in Los Angeles.

Ken Block proves the new Ford Focus RS can handle that Gymkhana thing

Wed, Feb 4 2015

Oh Ford, you've already done a lot for us today, introducing the bound-for-America Focus RS and all. But then you go ahead and add onto this day of good news by handing a prototype of the new all-wheel-drive rocket to drift maestro Ken Block and capture it all on video. Block does his usual, slipping and sliding and drifting the over-315-horsepower hot hatchback through Ford's Cologne, Germany factory, before making a final and surprising appearance at the unveiling of the new RS to European media. It's all as entertaining as it sounds, and gives us plenty of chances to hear the 2.3-liter EcoBoost at full bellow. Related Video:
