We are selling our 2002 Ford Windstar SE that has literally had almost everything mechanical replaced in it within the last year. Most done within last 6 months. Alternator and battery just replaced this week.
Within the past year, we've replaced the transmission, timing belt, battery, alternator, water pump, fuel pump, brake pads, ...and I'm SURE I'm forgetting at least a few other things. ALL by professional auto repair shop in New Canaan.

NO ACCIDENTS, QUAD SEATING, Entertainment Package- a full crate of vhs movies will be included, automatic doors on both passenger AND driver's side. Awesome 7 Passenger Minivan. Non-smoking, Pet free family. VERY clean interior, and we are had a $225 complete detail done on the car TODAY.
136,000 miles. Family car. It has been on A LOT of road trips, and has been an awesome car, but we've just bought a new FORD minivan (EXACT same model, just new), so we need to sell this one to make some space in our driveway!

Has every option available for the year made, including; Roof rack, tinted windows, premium alloy rims, entertainment package, quad seating, rear air and heat controls, cd player, electric drivers side seat, middle row and back row reading lights, tons of charging outlets- way more than our new one.
ONLY issues with the entire car are: Does have some rust spots on driver's passenger side under panel, and a smaller rust spot on same area on passenger side of car, could use new tires within the next few months, and driver's side passenger door sometimes makes a popping noise when opening.
Other than that, this car is CLEAN and runs great. Is a great find for a 10+ year old car. All of the work has already been done for you.

We will work with shipping company to schedule pick up, but will need payment in full before scheduled pick up date.

Ford Australia reveals updated Territory, Falcon via Twitter

Mon, 28 Jul 2014

Ford may have tied together much of its global lineup under the One Ford campaign, but one market where it still offers unique products is Australia. That will soon draw to a close as well, but before it does, the Blue Oval's Aussie operations are rolling out refreshed versions of its two unique products. For the moment, Ford isn't revealing much in the way of powertrain details, but it has shown off a couple of snaps of the revised products on its in-market Twitter feed.
First up is the new Territory. The SUV is neither based on a front-drive crossover platform nor on a truck frame, but shares its rear-drive underpinnings with the Falcon, taking it a step beyond the Falcon wagon alongside which it sits in Ford's Aussie range. Like the outgoing third-generation SZ Territory, the facelifted version is dominated by a narrow grille and larger front air dam, but further punctuates its big-chinned look with more rugged lower cladding and other metallic inserts that bring its look up to date.
And there's the Falcon, which Ford revealed in XR8 trim just last week and is now presenting in G6E spec. If the XR8 is the performance model, the G6E is the luxury version, swapping in more refined trim like a chrome-slat grille (instead of a black honeycomb), chrome foglamp surrounds, less-aggressive multi-spoke wheels (instead of five-spokes) and a flatter hood (instead of a power bulge). Otherwise, it looks essentially the same as the one we saw last week, its facelift bringing it more in line with the smaller, front-drive Mondeo (which we know here as the Fusion) and other members of the Ford family.

2015 Galpin Ford GTR1

Mon, 25 Aug 2014

Last year in Monterey, we met GTR1 for the first time. Galpin Auto Sports pulled the wraps off its Ford GT-based supercar, powered by a twin-turbocharged 5.4-liter V8 good for a whopping 1,024 horsepower and 739 pound-feet of torque. The thing was totally custom-made and reportedly took some 12,000 man hours to create. And there it sat on the Pebble Beach grass, $1,000,000-plus price tag and all.
This year, the Galpin was back, albeit with one big change. That twin-turbo engine? Gone. In its place, a 5.4-liter V8 with a 4.0-liter Whipple supercharger bolted on, delivering an astonishing 1,058 hp and 992 lb-ft of torque on 110-octane fuel. 0-60? 2.9 seconds. Top speed? Somewhere above 225 miles per hour.
"Some things to keep in mind: no stability control, no traction control," were the only warnings given by Galpin's Brandon Boeckmann before taking me on a quick spin in the supercar. And after having my eyes thrown into the back of my skull a few times, laughing hysterically and trying to regain full use of my hearing after my ear drums being bombarded by the apocalyptic roar behind me, Brandon pulled over and said it was my turn, if I was ready to take the wheel.
