Up for sale is a 1971 Ford Torino Brougham. This vehicle was involved in an accident when it was 1 month old. The owner chose not to fix it and it was purchased by my shop. It has been in climate controlled storage for the past 42 years. the vehicle has been rough pulled and is ready for assembly. Or should anyone have the need for parts this vehicle has only 1640 miles on it with no rust. we recently had it running with no issues. it fired right up.parts needed for repair would be and entire left 3/4 front sheet metal and inner structure from the shock tower forward, a drivers door and steering column. 'Born of a Blue Sky' brings the Amelia Island Concours to you
Fri, 03 May 2013The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has more clout every year and is getting a reputation as Pebble Beach minus the madness. Held in March this year, it celebrated Ducati and the 50-year anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Corvette Sting Ray, Porsche 911 and the Ford GT40.
Justin Lapriore was there, and seemingly everywhere, getting footage of the various wares on display on the lawns and the sand and the runway. The resulting video, Born of a Blue Sky, is a 16-minute survey of some of the finer sights and plenty of engine sounds. Check it out below.

Some have suggested that the Bronco's demise was hastened by the fallout from the O.J. trial.

Toyota fears supplier pressure in Australia with GM pull out
Wed, 11 Dec 2013With Ford and General Motors both announcing an end to production in Australia, the country's auto industry is in a bad way. With the exit of two big players, there's increased concern that a third Australian manufacturer, Toyota, will be forced out, as well.
"We are saddened to learn of GM Holden's decision. This will place unprecedented pressure on the local supplier network and our ability to build cars in Australia," Toyota Australia said in a statement. The GM closure of Holden production will be the direct end to 2,900 jobs, but will also force a dramatic reduction in the size of the country's supplier network, as there will simply be fewer cars to build.
In the same statement, Toyota Australia said it would work with suppliers and local government to figure out whether continuing production Down Under was even feasible. According to Automotive News, a representative for the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union told reporters it was "highly likely" that Toyota would also close up shop within the next few years.
