Ok, Ebayers... I have a 62 T-Bird in good shape! It does run and drive BUT....... It does smoke at start up so Im assuming that it needs valve guides?
It only smokes on drivers side! the smoke does go away after awhile but not as bad.
the odometer it reads 06122 with a 3 at the end...and it could be 106,122 but I can not say for sure!!!!
If you look at the pictures in some areas you can see some white areas, so even though the car looks great when wet in black... it might have been
white at one time and now it is black ( thats how i got it ) .... the body I think needs a good buff job to look better, also I took pictures of it both wet
and dry so Im not trying to hide anything from anybody!! Also there are some photos of my fat hand trying to point out chips and scratches & rust so
please look at those pictures as well. The headliner came un threaded so it is hanging just behind the front seats..but again please look at the pictures
and if you have any questions please email or call! other than what I wrote the car does start, run, and go into gear, and reverse...and move, so you
can work on it and move it around, not missing much that i can see, I do have a air cleaner to..Its on a non op with the DMV and its not in my name
( I never transfered it ) but I do have the title!! The lights work but one of the brake lights are out I think the passenger side....The a/c might need to
be recharged.. not sure. All the windows work! At start up to start the car the steering wheel needs to be pulled alittle left to right to start!
maybe a anti theft thing ???? All the tires are in good shape and hold air! as seen in the pictures those hub caps go with the car. The brake booster
needs replacement! It has brakes just not power!! The carb has been rebuilt, The brakes have been gone through, the points are new
and it has had a tune up! Over all its a great car to start with, but please look at the pictures and see that the paint is
not perfect looks good when wet but over it might need a good buff job or be re cleared to look great!
Please if you have any questions call me at 209-769-6840 ask for Tony
Happy Bidding and Good Luck
I got some request for the body tag numbers so here they are 63A L 86 04D 72 14.......

Ford Transit production fires up, American Pickers among first takers
Wed, 30 Apr 2014Not long ago, the History Channel showed a seemingly unending stream of World War II documentaries, but it made a switch a few years ago to include an increasing mix of 'reality' programming. American Pickers was one of the early attempts at this new formula, with cameras following hosts Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz around the country in a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter as they tracked down collectibles and "rusty gold" for their Iowa shop, Antique Archeology. The show has since gone on to become one of the channel's most popular programs.
Starting in the new episode airing tonight, the affable hosts will swap their Benz for a 2015 Ford Transit, a nicely timed bit of marketing to coincide with the launch of the model's assembly at the Blue Oval's Kansas City Assembly Plant, which also kicks off this week. Ford is touting 2,000 new jobs created as part of its $1.1-billion investment in the plant.
No strangers to product placement, the guys from American Pickers say their switch away from the Sprinter is because they wanted to balance cargo capacity and fuel economy to make the most of their cross-country jaunts. They opted for the largest Transit available with a long wheelbase, extended body and high roof, giving them 487 cubic feet of cargo room. Hauling power comes from a 3.2-liter, five-cylinder diesel engine with 190 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission with rear-wheel drive. Fittingly, the van wears the same Antique Archaeology logo over white paint as their old Sprinter.
Americans will get a four-cylinder Ford Mustang after all? [w/poll]
Sat, 09 Mar 2013Ask and you shall receive. Remember that previous report suggesting that the 2015 Ford Mustang getting a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, and that it would be sold in Europe only and not the United States? Well, according to Road & Track, the rumor is only partially true - The Mustang will get the engine, but it is indeed coming to America.
Additionally, according to RT, the 3.7-liter V6 will continue to serve as the base engine, and since it offers up a stout 305 horsepower in its current form, it's likely that the 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost will produce a bit more than that. At the top of the range, the Mustang GT will continue to soldier on with a V8 engine, which should continue to send over 400 horsepower to the rear wheels.
Finally, while we agree 100 percent with RT's heartfelt request for a paddle-shift automatic, we certainly expect that the EcoBoost 'Stang will be offered with a manual transmission as standard equipment. This is a Mustang, after all...
Ford Fiesta ST GRC Racecar is hungry for podiums in 2013
Thu, 07 Feb 2013As we reported earlier, the Chicago showing of this plucky Ford Fiesta ST GRC racer points to bigger and brighter days for Global RallyCross. For the upcoming season, you can expect to see Ken Block and Tanner Foust both driving the Ford racecar, and if last season's results are any indication, you can anticipate quite a few podium appearances, as well.
The Fiesta seen here was built by the Swedes at OlsbergsMSE, and will be driven in anger by Foust in 2013. Modifications are, as you'd expect, extensive, and include an engine, exhaust and braking upgrades, a racing style short-throw shifter and a limited-slip differential. As you can see, the car has been fully stripped out and caged for maximum speed and safety, too.
Refresh your memories with the details of the car, in the press releases below. And if you head out to the Chicago Auto Show this year, don't forget to drop by the Ford stand to have a look.
