2 1964 Thunderbird Project Cars. One Car Will Drive And The Motor Runs Well. T on 2040-cars
La Pine, Oregon, United States
2 1964 thunderbird project cars. one car will drive and the motor runs well. The car will require some rust repair to trunk floor areas.Second car is partially disassembled, but all parts are there minus the left fender, hood, and front fender assembly including many extras. So many parts!!. There are two complete cars here The running car is currently registered in California. The other car is for parts. I have both titles.
Great Project Cars. Car in picture runs well! these are the items I am aware of that are in need of repair or replacement: headliner, front seats upholstery, cigarette lighter, radio, windows, and slide away steering linkage..All these parts are in the other car. Exterior -Minor dings, , needs paint and body work. Needs some front suspension work.. Needs restoration and TLC. Beautifully designed car. This was a project I reluctantly had to stop as I moved to the East Coast. E-mail with any questions. I can assist with loading

Ford ST Octane Academy [w/video]
Wed, 04 Jun 2014
The ST school is about more than just handbrake turns, hot laps, and sliding into parking spaces.
I felt like such a rock star. On my second pass around the UrbanCross course (read: fancy autocross) at the Ford ST Octane Academy, I absolutely nailed the exit, sliding the bright-yellow Focus ST sideways into a box the size of a parking space, all four wheels in line.
2015 Ford Mustang fuel economy ratings leaked
Thu, 21 Aug 2014Thinking about buying a new Mustang, but want to know what kind of fuel economy it'll get? Well we have our first indication as the pony-car enthusiasts over at Mustang6G.com have gotten a hold of the Monroney window stickers for a few of the new 2015 Mustang models.
Although the V8 model is not among them, we can now see how the EPA has rated those models with a half dozen pistons or less. The Mustang EcoBoost with the turbo four and a manual transmission has been rated at 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 on the highway. The V6 manual gets 17 city and 28 highway, while the V6 automatic squeezes out a bit more in the city at 19 mpg but carries the same 28 highway rating.
By way of comparison, the latest Chevy Camaro with the V6 and a stick shift gets the same 17/28 EPA rating as a similarly equipped new 'Stang, and the V6 automatic Camaro gets 18/27 (slightly behind the Ford, but if you opt for the Camaro 2LS with its V6, automatic and 2.92 rear axle ratio, you'll be looking at 19 and 30).
40+ cars that barely avoid the gas guzzler tax
Thu, 24 Jul 2014
The Gas Guzzler schedule, with mpg ratings and charges that haven't changed since 1991, lays out which fuel-swillers owe what to Uncle Sam.
I started thinking about the "Gas Guzzler Tax" - considerably less well known as The Energy Tax Act of 1978 - when I was driving Dodge's new Challenger SRT Hellcat last week. Unsurprisingly for a car that can burn 1.5 gallons of gas per minute at max tilt, theoretically able to empty a full tank of premium in about 13 minutes, the Hellcat will be subject to the Gas Guzzler Tax schedule when it goes on sale.
