What we have for sale is a 1969 FORD THUNDERBIRD 2 DOOR LANDAU. This is a really beautiful

piece of classic American automotive design. It is finished in a brilliant fire engine red paint with

white interior and a white Landau roof. It is powered by a very strong 429 THUNDERJET engine.

It is equipped with factory air, power steering power brakes, factory AM radio, brand new

whitewall tires ( bought July 2013 ) hide away headlights and much more. This car can be driven

anywhere without worries and cruises on the highway perfectly with lots of power. It does not

smoke, rattle, squeak,or leak at all. It is so quiet you're not sure the car is running. This is a two

owner automobile and both owners have saved all invoices on any maintenance done to the car.

This is a rare color combination you will not see a lot of and is truly a very elegant automobile with

Ford recalling 830,000 vehicles to replace side door latches

The Basics: Ford is conducting a recall for roughly 830,000 models. The affected vehicles include the 2013 to 2015 Ford C-Max, 2012 to 2015 Ford Focus, 2013 to 2015 Ford Escape, 2015 Lincoln MKC, 2015 Ford Mustang, and 2014 to 2016 Ford Transit Connect. The recall is focused primarily in Arkansas, Alabama, Florida, California, Arizona, Hawaii, Georgia, New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Nevada, Utah, Oklahoma, Washington, and Oregon as the problem mostly affects cars in states with warm weather. The Problem: The pawl spring tab in the side door latch in the affected vehicles could break, preventing the door from latching and could even cause the door to open while driving. Injuries/Deaths: There is one reported injury and one reported accident. The Fix: Dealers will replace the affected cars' side door latches. If you own one: Reach out to your local Ford dealer to schedule a service. They're pretty darn similar. And yet our views are oh so different.
If you guys could read the transcripts of our editors' chat room, you'd know that we're a pretty argumentative bunch. It's always good-spirited stuff (well, usually), but when we're not obsessively covering this or that, we're usually fighting about one car being better than another. We're all enthusiasts here, and our automotive tastes run the gamut from the weird and unusual to the decidedly mainstream - we all feel strongly about specific cars in a given segment. While it usually makes for good conversation, if we're passionate enough, it can turn into a tomato-throwing showdown.

Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
