The car is in great condition runs and drives well. Car has all matching numbers. It has the 7.0 liter engine 428 Q vin. The car has original everything. Driven car for over 200 miles one way to car shows. It alway does great a lot of good comments. Factory a/c working, am radio working, all gauges and speedometer work good, rear sequential lights work, the cars interior is original, just replaced the carpet. Power driver seat, power windows, vacuum locks, swing away steering wheel, new carpet, aftermarket chrome spoke wheels with good tires. Too many things to mention. Bloomberg TV reporter Matt Miller is the proud new owner of a pretty killer truck. How do we know? The reporter headed to Dearborn, MI to Ford's assembly plant, with a film crew in tow, to see exactly how his new F-150 SVT Raptor and its mother-loving 6.2-liter V8 engine, was screwed together.
The resulting video does an excellent job of summing up how an assemblage of parts and pieces is turned into a triple-black Raptor, thanks to the work of some 1,000 employees and about 20 hours of real time. Last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible nets $500k for charity at Barrett-Jackson [w/video]

The last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible was sold on Saturday at a Barrett-Jackson auction in Reno, Nevada, for $500,000. Ford donated the Mustang to be auctioned for charity, and all of the money is going to the Brain Injury Association of America.
Parnelli Jones, winner of the 1963 Indianapolis 500, was there on behalf of the BIAA with his son Page, who suffered a brain injury in a sprint car crash in 1994. The bidding increased quickly, reaching $500k in no time, spreading a bit more hope to people who live with brain injuries.
The winning bidder will be able to choose the GT500's exterior, interior and stripe colors, and is scheduled to receive the car, signed by Parnelli Jones in appreciation for the donation, by the end of 2013. Watch the video below to see the auction-block action.

Cadillac ELR, Nissan Resonance and Ford Atlas win Eyes on Design awards

This year's annual Eyes on Design awards were presented at the end of press days for the Detroit Auto Show on Tuesday. Given out for the best production and concept car designs that debuted at the show, and voted on by an esteemed panel of actual car designers, this year's award for best production vehicle design went to the 2014 Cadillac ELR. The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, which was the show favorite among Autoblog editors, apparently did not impress the Eyes on Design judges enough with its all-new vent-festooned design.
The award for best concept design was actually split as a tie among the Nissan Resonance and Ford Atlas concepts. Last year's winners were the 2013 Ford Fusion and the Lexus LF-LC concept.
The Eyes on Design organization also presented a new honor this year called the Catalyst Award to Bob Lutz, former Vice Chairman of General Motors. Lutz is reported to have given a defense of design in his acceptance speech, arguing that advancements in quality across the industry as a whole have made good design a key differentiator for buyers.
