1962 Ford Thunderbird Convertible. Parked last 30 years in dry covered storage. Good driving condition. Starts easy, runs strong and quiet. Transmission seems perfect. No recent work done to it but to scrape dist cap terminals and Just replaced conv top pistons and motor. Top opens & closes smoothely. Stored with the top up. Needs restoration all around but would serve as a daily driver. Does not leak any liquids, new battery. Bought and driven in Santa Rosa Ca its entire life. Purchased from friend of the family of original owner. NO RUST. There is a string of superficial bubbles my pinky finger long beneath paint at muffler left tail corner. See pic. Undercarriage dry. No rot, no cancer anywhere. Motor is all original and looks great. Has been converted from generator to an alternator. Carb is a Holley with electronic choke. Works well. Needs restoration. Everything works as intended but radio has no pulse and wipers are intermittent. Conv Top has slight 4" tear at header, does not appear to leak or is it in a spot that should make it grow. Car runs Quiet and appears to have been well taken care of during its previous life before being parked. Title is clear Washington (I registered it intending to bring north but never did). Ford F-150 King Ranch celebrates 'history and authenticity' for 2015 [w/video]

We honestly have no idea, having never lived on such a ranch, but we imagine it requires lots of hard work, grit and determination to keep all 825,000 acres - that's larger than the state of Rhode Island - of the King Ranch in Texas under control. Indeed, a total of 350 vehicles, all of which come from Ford, we're told, are currently in use by the ranch. No wonder, then, that the collaboration between Ford and King Ranch has lasted for 15 successful years.
For 2015, in celebration of that 15th anniversary, Ford is debuting three new King Ranch models today at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The most significant is the 2015 F-150 King Ranch, which, naturally, will add unique interior and exterior bits and pieces to the new aluminum-intensive F-Series pickup. Color choices will consist of Caribou, Bronze Fire, Guard and Ruby Red Metallic Clearcoat, with a range of two-tones to go along with a monochromatic scheme in Caribou. Inside, a bespoke King Ranch interior will be swathed in Premium Mesa Brown leather.
Joining the F-150 King Ranch on dealership floors later this year will be 2015 King Ranch editions of the Super Duty pickup and Expedition fullsize SUV, all of which will offer similar levels of content. Ford begins testing right-hand-drive Mustang
Wed, 20 Aug 2014Ford has officially kicked off testing of the right-hand-drive variant of its sixth-generation, 2015 Mustang, according to a statement issued by the company, which came with the above photo.
According to Ford, this will mark the first time a right-hand-drive 'Stang has traveled down the company's assembly line alongside its LHD brethren. It is far from the first of the legendary pony cars to feature its wheel on the wrong side, though, as converters in RHD markets across the globe have been making swaps for years.
Ford is planning on using the white, droptop Mustang for RHD development ahead of the car's arrival in the UK, Australia and South Africa, among other markets. Scroll down for the official press blast.

Thu, 02 Oct 2014To learn more about the all-new 2015 F-150 and get an early read on its potential hero-or-zero status, we flew to the heart of full-size pickup truck country, San Antonio, TX, to spend a day driving, towing and playing in the mud with an assortment of Ford's innovative new trucks.
First, a caveat - while we feel we have a reasonably good handle on the new F-150 after attending this first-drive event, we are far from ready to pass definitive judgment on the success of this radically new rig. Our time in the various models was lamentably limited and we felt rushed. With so much at stake and with so much to talk about and experience, we had zero alone time with the vehicle - there were Ford folks shadowing us at every moment.
And we still don't know everything there is to know about the trucks, as Ford is withholding some of its most crucial numbers, including curb weight data and anticipated EPA fuel economy figures. We don't even have a firm on-sale date. All of this information is typically disclosed - or at least officially estimated - at the time of a new vehicle's first drive. This limits the scope of the judgments we feel comfortable making based on our first encounter.
