1962 Ford Thunderbird, Calofornia Car,Very clean car, as clean under as what you see, restoration project over the last 3 years. Driver for the last year. Upgrades were to the electrical system, modern fuse block, front disc brakes and dual mastercylinder. The engine , transmission are the original and have been rebuilt, thay have about 1200 miles on them. The rerarend was also taken out and rebuilt. The interior also has been redone in cream and black with new dash cover door panels, carpet and headliner.also a retro radio that has FM and a USB connection for more input..The chrome waqs also redone and the stainless all polished.Also has an thermostated electric fan to back to keep the big 390 cool in traffic. This car was complete as a starter project but was not missing any parts and when it was taken down to the bare metal there was No rust. This car also has all new gas tank and all new brake and fuel lines. It can be used as a daily driver, the more it is driven the better it gets. I'm not the jealous type... usually. But I will fully admit to being somewhat of a Pouty Polly when I read executive editor Chris Paukert's report after driving the then-new 2013 Ford Focus ST through the impossibly pretty southern French Alps region last June. I feel like a broken record saying this yet again, but hot hatchbacks hold a special place in my heart. And while I'm always giddy to drive any sort of small, turbocharged three- or five-door at home in Detroit, my jealousy was indeed piqued after hearing Paukert tell about the challenging yet breathtaking roads he encountered while driving the flamin' yellow Focus. You know, the sort of roads that, from above, look like carelessly drizzled lines of icing on the frosted Alpen caps.
Several months later, I found myself piloting a Focus ST just west of metro Detroit, pitting it head-to-head against one of Autoblog's perennial favorite cars, the Volkswagen GTI. It was fantastic - enough so that I fully stand behind my statement that in terms of balls-out performance, the Focus ST cannot be beat as far as today's front-wheel-drive hatches are concerned.

Mon, 28 Jan 2013The Ford F-150 received yet another new model for the 2013 model year, the Limited trim, bringing the ways you can order this country's most popular vehicle to a grand total of 10. There really is an F-150 to suit any need now, and the Limited variant slots in at the very top of the range, above the already pampering Platinum model.
While normally I would admit that I'm the least-appropriate person to test a pickup, the fact that this particular trim places a much higher premium on luxury than anything with a bed and Blue Oval badge before it means that I don't need the workman chops of a skilled tradesman to judge how well this truck meets its true aim.
