Here is a 1961 Ford Thunderbird. This is a rust-free, numbers matching, Arizona classic car that is complete, but needs TOTAL restoration and is not in running or driving condition. The pictures speak for themselves.
This is the deal...I have a friend that I am helping to liquidate an estate in Arizona that includes over 400 vehicles. You will see more of them in my other auctions. Because of the amount of cars for sale in the estate, we are getting titles for the vehicles as they are sold. At the end of the auction there will be a $500.00 deposit due immediately. At that time, we will apply for the title for the vehicle. When we receive the title, which is taking 2-3 weeks, I will then contact you so we can make arrangements for you to pay the outstanding balance and pick up the vehicle. Ford evaluating new Fiesta RS?
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Word coming in from across the pond has it that Ford is working on developing the business case to create a new Fiesta RS. The development is encouraged by the extremely positive reception the existing Fiesta ST has garnered to date, and the emergence of the above-pictured Fiesta RS WRC rally car, but it'll take more than goodwill to make a more extreme version a reality.
According to Auto Express, a new roadgoing Fiesta RS would almost certainly be based closely on the ST version, albeit with some vital differences. Its 1.6-liter turbo four would be increased from 180 horsepower to somewhere around 230 hp, and that powertrain would be accompanied by lightweight alloys inside blistered wheel arches, a stripped-out interior and possibly lightweight bodywork.
The vehicle's approval would reportedly require a strong business case in Europe, and not just in the UK where Ford hot hatches traditionally enjoy a strong following. It's unclear whether the Fiesta RS would potentially make the transatlantic voyage to American showrooms, but between it and the larger Focus RS, hopefully the Blue Oval wouldn't leave its home market out of the action altogether.

A 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder takes over where the old 2.0 left off, making 270 hp and 300 lb-ft.
Right now, around 23 percent of all Ford vehicles sold in the United States is a utility vehicle. By 2020, Ford expects that figure to increase all the way to 29 percent. Put simply, SUVs and crossovers are very big business at Ford. So, when it comes time to update the Explorer, Ford's original sport utility vehicle, you can be sure that a whole heck of a lot of effort goes into the process.
