Very Nice, Low Mileage Non Smoker Taurus In Excellent Condition. on 2040-cars
Fairhaven, Massachusetts, United States
This is a very nice, low mileage non smoker Taurus SE in excellent condition. The original paint is excellent and the interior shows no sign of wear. The wheels have no scrapes or curb damage. The tires are new. I've been in business for thirty eight years. I'm licensed by the state of Massachusetts as an auto damage appraiser. My wife, ( Carol ) and I now buy cars one at a time to sell on ebay and locally. I don't buy trade-ins or cars people are getting rid of. We drive each one ourselves to make sure everything is in good working order. Also, I don't sell anything but cars on this site. That's so you don't have to search my feedback for someone who bought a car from me. Every feedback from a buyer is for a car like this one. No exceptions. Like all my cars this one needs nothing. When you take delivery, you can drive it anywhere. It has a current Massachusetts emissions and safety sticker. If you are in this price range, I don't think you will find a nicer one. Please call me ( Dickie ) if you would like more information such as: transporting, payment methods, storage or anything. My number is: 508 994-9206. This is my home number so you can reach me seven days a week. I pay ebay extra to post a lot of pictures, and to supersize them. I want to represent my cars as best I can. A good example is the bottom of the doors. No rusted out panels. Thank you, and don't forget we don't charge storage and there is no time limit to store it. We have a large building to store our cars, so you can take your time making arrangements like getting the best deal from a transporter, or getting the best deal you can on a flight (we have two airports forty five minutes from us) Take care, Dickie.

Peel and Ford Transit do a great Austin Powers impression
Tue, May 6 2014It's no secret that the average fullsize cargo van is big. Like, really big. Expressing that size, though, without actually seeing the van in question, is a pretty tall order. When viewed from the right angle, even something as big as a cargo van can appear very small (look up forced perspective, to see what we mean). That's why it's always good to have a second object on hand, to provide a sense of scale. Ford took this simple idea to the extreme, illustrating the size of the new Ford Transit by pulling the world's smallest production car, the Peel P50, nose first into the van's 487-cubic-foot cargo area. That's no big deal, though, right? After all, at just 54 inches long and 39 inches wide, the Peel would fit quite happily in even the smallest fullsize truck bed. Ford takes it a step further, though. With the help of an actual reverse gear (we're guessing this is a CVT-equipped, electric model), the P50 manages to turn itself around and drive out. It does this in less than two minutes. So yeah, the Ford Transit is a pretty big van. Take a look below for the video from Ford. This content is hosted by a third party. Motor Trend pits Subaru WRX vs. Ford Focus ST
Thu, 23 Jan 2014The Ford Focus ST has enjoyed a relatively calm, if brief, reign in the world of hot hatches. With nothing else in the class (in the States, at least) but the aging Mazdaspeed3 and Subaru Impreza WRX and the slow-selling Volkswagen Golf R, the Blue Oval's 252-horsepower five door has been the go-to vehicle for those that don't need the high-octane lunacy (and expense) of the rally bred Subaru Impreza WRX STI and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.
Now, though, as the new Subaru WRX (it's not an Impreza anymore, though, neither is it a hatchback...) starts to arrive at dealers, the Focus ST appears to be under threat for the first time. Naturally, Motor Trend is here to figure out which one is the best, with another one of its Head 2 Head videos. Host Jonny Lieberman puts both cars through their paces, going above and beyond, quite literally, at the very end of the video.

Total auto recalls already on record pace in 2014
Tue, 08 Apr 2014If you've noticed that there have been more recalls than usual this year, you may be on to something. According to a report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the US market is on pace to break a record for recalls. In 2013, 22 million cars were recalled. We're only a third of the way through 2014, though, and we've already halved that figure, with 11 million units recalled. That's wild.
Considering the past few months, it shouldn't be a surprise that General Motors is leading the charge, with six million of the 11 million units recalled coming from one of the General's four brands. Between truck recalls, CUV recalls and the ignition switch recall, 2014 hasn't been a great year for GM.
Other recall leaders include Nissan (one million Sentra and Altima sedans), Honda (900,000 Odyssey minivans), Toyota (over one million units in a few recalls), Volkswagen (150,000 Passat sedans), Chrysler (644,000 Dodge Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs) and most recently, Ford (434,000 units, the bulk of which were early Ford Escape CUVs). So while it's been a bad year for GM so far, its competitors aren't doing too well, either.
