2006 Ford Taurus SEL, 3.0 V6, Automatic, Cold AC, power windows and locks, aluminum wheels, cruise, tilt, AM/FM/CD....everything works!
This car has been in my possession since it had about 20K miles on it. It was originally my company car, so the majority of miles are all highway (most travel was in the southeast). When the company closed a couple of years ago, I was extremely happy to purchase this Taurus due to the reliability... no major mechanical repairs, just routine maintenance, a lot of which was done at the Ford dealer. Oil and filter has been changed every 3,000 to 3,500 miles. Transmission fluid was flushed at about 100K. Maintenance items have been replaced as needed. The only mechanical repair that has been done was a new coil... replaced about 6 months ago.........
The exterior of the car is in very nice shape, it does have a small door ding in the R/R door (see pic), a scuff on the rear bumper cover (see pic) and a small dent on the roof (see pic) I am sure someone could find light scratches and another ding..........
Interior is also in nice condition, the drivers seat does have marks in it (see pic) and there is a small hole in the rear seat bottom (see pic)
PA State inspection just completed. 4 brand new Continental tires mounted and balanced.... should have a front end alignment done now.
Low starting price and NO RESERVE!
If you are looking for a well maintaned and reliable vehicle, this is it. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. If you would like to travel here and drive it home, the Cumberland, MD Amtrack station is only about 15 miles away. We do not have temp tags, so please contact your local DMV for more info...........
We make every effort to photograph important details of the vehicles body condition, however small dings, scratches and blemishes in the vehicles paint and body are often difficult to catch in the camera lens, please know that these imperfections may exist.
Vehicle has a clear PA title that must be notarized with the buyer information and purchase price. Please don’t ask me to put a price that is lower than the winning bid. Deposit must be made within 24 hours and full payment and vehicle pick up must be completed within 7 days of the auction closing or the vehicle will be re-listed. You are more than welcome and strongly encouraged to come and drive/inspect the vehicle in person. Please email me to make arrangements and with any questions you may have BEFORE bidding.
•IF THE REQUIRED DEPOSIT OF $250.00 IS NOT RECEIVED WITH IN 24 HOURS FROM THE TIME OF PURCHASE, THE VEHICLE WILL BE RE-LISTED.
•DEPOSITS RECEIVED ON A NON-PAYING BIDDER, WILL NOT BE RETURNED!!
•"SORRY NO REFUNDS"!!!
•IF FULL PAYMENT AND PICKUP ARRANGMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN MADE WITHIN THE TIME PROVIDED, VEHICLE WILL BE RE-AUCTIONED.

Saab-powered Ford is the most unlikely drift car we've seen
Tue, Jan 19 2016Yes, you read that headline correctly. It's supposed to be a Saab-powered Ford, and not the other way around (although we fully support the notion of a Sonnet with a Flathead V8). Apparently, some lunatic in the UK took an ass-less 1953 Ford Anglia, paired it with a turbocharged Saab engine, and tuned the entire thing to go drifting. We like it. Called Urchfab, it's the subject of Carfection's (the blokes formerly known as XCar) latest video. Aside from looking like an extra from the British version of Mad Max, it has a problem with grip, in that there's just too much of it. This car is a fabber's dream, as we get to see its unnamed owner fashion new bits and bobs for the suspension before having an unfortunate encounter with a wall at Castle Combe. You can check out the full video up at the top of the page for a closer look at this monstrous Anglia. Related Video:
Black Zombie electric Mustang launches Blood Shed Motors [w/videos]
Thu, Jun 19 2014As patient zero of Blood Shed Motors, the classic pony car has received a powerful electric transplant. Lightning repeatedly vanquished the darkness like the angriest of strobe lights and thunder shook the building, punctuating the clatter of a heavy Texas rain on the metal roof as the clock ticked away the initial seconds of a rare full moon Friday the 13th. It was then that the Black Zombie came to life for the first time. Beneath the hood of this rust-free 1968 Mustang fastback, a 289-cubic-inch V8 no longer turns gasoline into heat, noise and pollution. As patient zero of Blood Shed Motors, the classic pony car has received a powerful electric transplant, and now boasts twinned Warp 11 DC motors and a pair of fresh Zilla controllers that will serve as the basic blueprint for future vehicles. Dubbed the Zombie 222 drivetrain, the setup will be limited to 750 horsepower in customer's cars to keep the maintenance experience low, and eventually will draw power from a 40-kWh battery pack. In this first example, though, the output is bit more extreme. For one day, at least, they have the 1,500-kW-capable pack that powers the record-setting Swamp Rat 37 racer belonging to Don Garlits and a brief window of opportunity to try it out on a track. Blood Shed Motors is the result of a collaboration between NEDRA co-founder John "Plasma Boy" Wayland, the man who helped bring electric vehicle drag racing to the attention of the world with his unassuming White Zombie Datsun 1200 conversion and Austin, TX business man Mitch Medford, who've put together a small team of experts in their chosen fields. The plan is to build a limited number of muscle car conversions on pristine early Mustang, Camaro, and Barracuda platforms. The plan is to build a limited number of high-quality muscle car conversions on pristine (No restored rust buckets!) early Mustang, Camaro, and Barracuda platforms. Each can be customized according to buyer's wishes and blessed with its own serial number. The price tags will be in the eye-watering $200,000-and-up neighborhood, reflective of the cost and rarity of these cars and the custom nature of the alterations. Of course, you can't just multiply horsepower and add the monster torque that these electric motors put out and expect an antique chassis to hold up.
2014 Holman & Moody 50th Anniversary TdF Ford Mustang
Mon, 01 Jul 2013If you're a fan of Ford racing history, a Mustang worshiper or even just an avid follower of our yearly SEMA coverage, you may have heard the back story on the Race Red Mustang you see above. Back in 1964, Holman & Moody was tapped by the English Alan Mann Racing Team to race-prep three Mustangs for competition in the incredibly arduous 4,000-mile Tour de France Automobile rally. Competing mainly against Jaguar MkII saloons over 10 days and 17 stages, the H&M Mustangs took the top two places in the Touring class and the first-ever racing win for Ford's pony car.
Though the history of that first Mustang win hasn't been incredibly well known here in the States, the subsequent decades have seen plenty of racy versions of the car come and go. Last year at the SEMA show, we covered the brief debut of this living tribute to that piece of racing lore, the Holman & Moody 50th Anniversary TdF Mustang.
This limited-edition Mustang represents a kind of new venture for H&M, as the legendary racing shop has spent the last few decades earning its keep largely by restoring vintage racing cars. The urge to get back into the world of Ford and Mustang was powerful, however, what with the car's 50th anniversary looming and the current generation of 'Stang just about out the door.
