This is a NO RESERVE auction for a 2001 Ford Taurus LX with 120,454 miles on it. It was purchased by our business from a government BMV agency that used it as an administrative vehicle. It has ALL MAINTENANCE RECORDS ON IT SINCE BRAND NEW!! The ONLY issue with this car is a very slight exhaust leak from a small hole on the muffler-THAT'S IT!! Otherwise, this car has NO MECHANICAL PROBLEMS AT ALL! It has NO RUST, NO LEAKS, NO MAJOR DENTS OR SCRATCHES. The transmission shifts nice and smooth and the engine runs great and has no issues.It has very good treaded Goodyear tires with 8/32 tread on them and space saver new spare tire in trunk. There isn't much else to say about this car because I have described it as accurately as I can. This is a very good price for this car, however it is still a 2001 and over 10 years old and has normal wear and tear and minor scuffs and scratches. However, this is still a very good price for this car. It has a 'Buy it Now' price on it, but I think that usually goes away after a bid is placed. A tribute to William Clay Ford

The passing of William Clay Ford has been a big event for the company he spent most of his life helping run. Ford spent 57 years working for his family's company. Considering the Blue Oval has been around for over 100 years, WCF's passing is the end of an era for the Dearborn-based manufacturer.
Ford's YouTube channel has issued a short memorial video highlighting the life of the longest-lived grandson of company founder Henry Ford. It follows William Clay from his time as a boy, showing him alongside his grandfather, through his younger years, and into his twilight, as the patriarch of the Ford family.

2014 Ford C-Max Energi plug-in hybrids get deep, deep discount

Math-phobes may not appreciate all the price discounts available for potential buyers of the Ford C-Max Energi Plug-in Hybrid. For everyone else, though, break out the calculators and celebrate. Because the plug-ins, or at least the 2014 model-year versions, can be had for as much as a third off. How? Start with $4,000 bonus cash from Ford (double what it used to be) and add another $1,750 in dealer discounts, according to Cars Direct. Additionally, the feds will provide a $4,000 tax incentive, while shoppers in the great state of California might get another $1,500 in clean-vehicle rebates. Add them all up – oh, and another $1,000 thrown in by some dealers Â– and the MSRP of just under $34,000 gets brought down to less than $22,000 out of pocket. It makes that recent $900 price cut for the model seem pretty minor by comparison, doesn't it. Ford is looking to unload a bunch of 2014 model-year C-Max Energi models after sales, which started strong last year, tapered off in recent months. While Americans boosted C-Max Energi purchases by 18 percent last year to 8,433 units, that year-over-year sales gain had been 58 percent through last June. Meanwhile, January sales were down 16 percent to just 395 units.
