 Dual fuel tanks.
Flip out head unit with dvd capabilites as well as an AUX jack
Sliding rear window, new shocks, air bags, receiver hitch

There is absolutely no rust on here! the cab is super solid, as is the bottom of the doors, fenders, wheel wells, you will not see any rust. all healthy metal!

The interior is in great shape as well, with the exception of the dash which has a crack in it, and the bottom of the door panels have been re-skinned. there are audio wires leading behind the seat, but it is not attached to any speakers, so a speaker box and speakers will need to be added. The CB radio works well, there is a crack in the windscreen although it does not interfere with driving as it is aligned with the aftermarket gauge trio

The doors and hood shut without the need to slam it, shuts as if just off the factory line.
The glow plug solenoid cycle system has failed which is common for diesel trucks, therefore a momentary push button was put in place, fortunately this does not interfere with anything else and can be removed if the owner does so desire to repair the solenoid issue. All the lights work as they should even the reverse lights! Everything works as it should, with the exception of the aforementioned issues. the truck has 117xxxKM on it. This motor is known worldwide for its reliability and fuel efficiency, parts are also not a problem to come across, just phone your local parts store and see for yourself!. the truck currently gets around 35 mpg.  Also,  the injection pump can be set for more power at a cost of fuel efficiency of course!
The original bumper and an aftermarket brush guard will be included with the sale (in the pictures)

Ford and Mercedes join Renault in French emissions investigation

Thu, Jan 21 2016

The French government is investigating certain models from Ford, Mercedes-Benz, and Renault because they allegedly produce more nitrogen oxide than the country's pollution rules allow, according to Automotive News, citing a French newspaper. After VW's emissions scandal, French regulators began checking more vehicles for evidence of defeat devices and excessive real-world pollution. According to Automotive News, the Mercedes S350 allegedly showed inconsistent results across these tests, and a Ford C-Max had NOx levels five times over the limit. The Renault Captur crossover, Espace, and an unnamed utility vehicle also had results that were too high. The French testing for this investigation includes an on-road emissions check that's not part of the EU's normal evaluations, which some automakers claim is unfair. "Unofficial on-road testing has varying conditions and can produce significantly different results," a Ford of Europe spokesman told Automotive News. Renault representatives met with French officials on January 18 to explain the situation. The company later submitted a plan to recall 15,800 examples of the diesel Captur, and said it would offer a voluntary software upgrade for about 700,000 other vehicles, according to Automotive News. Representatives from Ford and Mercedes will meet with the government soon, too. Renault's stock price plunged last week after investors heard that French regulators searched three of the automaker's sites as part of the emissions investigation. The stockholders feared an environmental scandal like the one currently embroiling Volkswagen. There's one major difference – as of now, there's no evidence Renault equipped any of the polluting models with defeat devices. Related Video:

The 2015 Ford Mustang is not so mellow in yellow

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

When we first saw the 2015 Ford Mustang, much was made of its new, more expressive color palette, which includes the return of both yellow and orange in addition to a new grayish shade, Guard. At that time, we didn't have anything to look at but a few small scale models painted in the new colors - the only Mustangs on display were in Race Red.
For its auto show debut here at in the Motor City, Ford has trotted out a couple of as-yet-unseen shades, including the striking Triple Yellow shown above. The new shade marks a return to a paint color that enthusiasts have been clamoring for, and we must say, it looks excellent under the lights of Cobo Hall.
Stat wise, there are still a number of questions we have about the redesigned Mustang. None of the three engines have had official power figures published. The same goes for pricing information, although if any loose-lipped execs let something slip in Detroit, we'll be sure to let you know. Until then, have a look at the new Triple Yellow Mustang on display at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

Why Edmunds took a sledgehammer to its 2015 Ford F-150

Tue, Jan 27 2015

The discussion around repair bills for the aluminum-bodied 2015 Ford F-150 pickup continued from the beginning of last year to the end, and haven't abated; as an aside, some Tesla Model S owners have been shocked at disquieting repair estimates for minor damage to their aluminum wunder-sedans. Edmunds decided to inject some fact into the fray: it bought a $52,000 long-term 2015 F-150 and clouted it with an eight-pound sledgehammer. Twice. The rear of the bedside took the impacts since it couldn't be replaced, it would have to be repaired. To the pickup's credit, the only reason associate editor Travis Langness hit it twice was that the first sledgehammer blow didn't do as much damage as Edmunds wanted. After the second, the visible damage included the two direct impacts, a few creases, and a cracked taillight, so they drove the pickup to Santa Monica Ford to get an estimate, complete with a fictitious story about how the damage occurred and the mercy plea that Langness was paying for the repair out-of-pocket. In Part 2 Langness hits on some of the details with getting the truck fixed, such as the massively expensive taillight and the list of tools Ford recommends dealers have to work on aluminum. But he was promised he'd have his truck back in seven days, and Santa Monica Ford got it back to him in seven days. In Part 3 we get the bill. It's not small, but it's quite a bit less than it could have been if the service manager had charged Edmunds the official labor rate for aluminum. We're not going to spoil it here, so check out the videos above and below for the beginning and the end, and head over to Edmunds for the complete story about how it all happened and some riffing on the repair numbers.
